Hi everyone,
today on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog I'm sharing a card using the Frilly Frames Lattice Dies. I adore the Love Monkey Stamps and had to make another card with one of these cuties.
For my ink blended background, I created a stencil by die cutting the lattice background from copy paper. I temporarily adhered it over a panel of Bristol cardstock and used a blending brush for a soft look. The Distress Oxide Ink colors I chose are Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass. Next, I cut the background with the stitched scallop die to give it a decorative border.
I stamped the monkey holding the heart balloons in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut it out with the coordinating die.
To create my custom sentiment, I combined the 'hello' from the Foxy Christmas Stamps set with the other two words from the Love Monkey Stamps set. I stamped it in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. Since the little monkey looks like he is flying, I die cut two small clouds which are included in the Comic Strip Everyday Dies set.
Finally, I popped up the monkey and clouds with foam tape and adhered some matching embellishments.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

Hi sweeties,
it's getting warmer outside and I'm looking forward to spring, the fresh greenery and blooms everywhere and lots of sunshine. So I created this card with one of my favorite Hello Bluebird stamp sets called Bee Happy.
Could this little fellow be any cuter?! I also stamped the strawberries and colored both images with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For the background, I did some stenciling with the Altenew "Watercolor Stripes Stencil" and "Spun Sugar" Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some white paint splatters.
I white heat embossed the typed sentiment on a strip of dark grey cardstock and adhered everything with foam tape. Finally, I embellished my card with self-made shiny drops.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you're having a happy day!

Hi peeps,
it's my turn again to share a new card over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog. Today I have an interactive card for you with a little surprise on the inside. I rarely create these kind of cards but the Sliding Window Die makes it soo easy!
First, I created an A2 card base from aqua cardstock. I die cut a stitched rectangle from the violet grid patterned paper (Gingham Pastels 6x6 Paper) which is slightly smaller. Next, I used the sliding window die to create the interactive part. It's a flap with three folds that can be popped up – but the card can be mailed flat into an envelope. Make sure to only put adhesive to the outside frame when adhering it to your card.
I kept the design of my card front pretty simple and decorated it with a white heat embossed birthday sentiment (Everyday Greetings Stamps), a cake (Make A Wish Stamps) and three die cut hearts (Basic Mini Shape Dies).
When you fold the flap up, the inside will be revealed. And here is my fun surprise – the two cute dogs from the Puppy Dog Kisses set are ready to celebrate and they brought a pile of gifts, too.
The gifts are from two other stamp sets (Alpaca Holiday Stamps and Foxy Christmas Stamps). I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. In the background, I blended together two Distress Oxide Inks (Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass) on a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock.
I loved creating this interactive card – it looks really sweet on display :-)
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Good evening peeps,
I made a little inspiration card for Hello Bluebird with the Silly Birds Stamp set. They always crack me up!
I picked two of the birdies, the tree branches as well as the music notes and stamped them in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink on Bristol cardstock. I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder which makes it easier to watercolor the images and stay inside the stamped lines. I colored them with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and used the companion dies to cut them out.
For the background, I chose a blue watercolor stripe patterned paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio "More Than Words" paper pad. I die cut it with the largest of the Avery Elle "Postage Stamp Dies". To pop up the outside frame, I also die cut it twice from cardstock and stagged the three layers together.
Next, I stamped the sentiments in VersaMark Ink on black cardstock and heat embossed them in white. I used two of the speech bubbles that are included in the Photo Stack Die set and cut them out. Finally, I assembled my card and added some matching enamel dots.

Hi everyone,
today I have a floral Birthday card for you showcasing the pretty Sunny Studio Stamps Everything's Rosy set. It's just magical how the images come to life by stamping each of the individual layers.
For the background, I tried something different and created a cardstock chevron pattern using the Fishtail Banners Dies and Fishtail Banners II Dies. I just love the pierced detail at the edges.
I stamped the roses and leaves with Altenew Dye Inks (find the ink colors below) and the help of a stamp positioning tool. I used the coordinating Everything's Rosy Dies to cut them out. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Puppy Dog Kisses set in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed it.
To finish off my card, I adhered some sequins and tiny dots of Ranger Platinum Stickles.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope to see you again next time!

Good evening everyone,
I had to make another card with the adorable Hello Bluebird Portrait Pals set. This time I picked the little elephant and combined him with the Photo Stack Die and Tropical Foliage Die.
I started with an ink smooshed background – Distress Oxide Inks are just perfect for this fun technique because you can easily add layers. The colors I used are Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint and Old Paper. Next, I die cut the leaves and colored them with Altenew Watercolors. And since I want to practice my watercoloring more, I chose ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens for the elephant.
I used the coordinating dies to cut out the elephant and his feet. I positioned him inside the smaller photo frame which was backed with a piece of cardstock. I popped up the frame with foam tape and tucked in the leaves from both sides.
Finally, I created my custom sentiment using the Hello Friend Words Die and two small text stamps from the Typed Everyday Stamp set which I white heat embossed onto strips of black cardstock. To finish off the card, I adhered some matching enamel dots from my stash.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Hi crafty friends,
I'm back on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a card that uses the beautiful Botanical Backdrop Die.
I started with a white A2 card base and die cut this leafy frame from two shades of purple cardstock. I snipped the lighter frame apart to fill in the empty spaces behind the darker frame.
Next, I created a reversed mask of the die by cutting it from masking paper. I adhered it to a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and sponged on the Distress Oxide Inks Milled Lavender and a little bit of Wilted Violet. I also added tiny ink splatters with a paint brush.
When everything was completely dry, I combined some sentiments from the Everyday Greetings set and stamped them in VersaMark Ink before heat embossing them with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I adhered the layered frame to the panel and embellished the card with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins. You can't really see it on the photo, but I also added some Nuvo Pale Periwinkle Jewel Drops.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Good morning peeps,
it's March already and today starts a new Stempelgarten Challenge and the theme is Spring.
I created a Clean and Simple card with the gorgeous Stamping Bella "Lily of the Valley" stamp that was a gift by the sweet shop owner Alex ♥
I stamped the girl in Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink and colored it with Copics. Next, I cut the panel with the scalloped stitched rectangle die from the MFT "Blueprints 27 Die-namics" set. The sentiment is from the retired MFT "Lucky" set and I heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I adhered the panel to an A2 card base made from MFT "Grapesicle" cardstock. Finally, I added two crystals by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
You will have time until March 31st, 2019 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
