Sunny Studio Stamps • Thank You For Everything

14.04.2022

Hi everyone,

sadly, this will be my last post as a member of the Sunny Studio Creative Team. Today's card is dedicated to Mendi, the owner of this wonderful company. Thank you so much for having me! I had a blast designing cards with your adorable products for over 3 years.

I combined some Spring Release and previously released products for my final card. Of course I had to use one of the cute Passionate Penguins again!

I started off with a white A2 top folding card base and masked off the bottom to create an ink blended background with Distress Oxides. I mixed Cracked Pistachio and Salvaged Patina to achieve a beautiful mint color which fades downward into Tattered Rose. For the ground I blended on a bit of Pumice Stone ink.

Next, I stamped the row of houses, trees and lamp post (Charming City Stamps) as well as the penguin in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out with the coordinating dies. The Eiffel Tower from the Paris Afternoon set was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

I cut the 'thank you' word die included in the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies set from white cardstock and combined it with a black stamped Words of Gratitude sub sentiment. Finally, I assembled the card and added two enamel hearts in matching colors.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!

MFT Stamps • April Release Day

12.04.2022

Hello everyone,

the My Favorite Things April Release Day is finally here and all the new products are now available for purchase.

I picked another fabulous stamp set for my final card – it is called Top of the World. I really love those cute tiny images!

To put the images into focus I created a vignette background (which gets darker towards the edges) with Distress Inks (Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot) I stamped the sentiment at the bottom using VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating Top of the World Die-namics. I tucked the animals and trees behind the earth and added a tiny red heart to the center.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 1

11.04.2022

Hi peeps,

the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown wraps up today and we're sharing the last product previews.

My card features the sweet Pure Innocence girl from the new I Need Some Me & You Time stamp set. I paired this cutie with some patterned papers from the Festive Celebrations Paper Pad as well as a couple of die-cuts.

First, I started off with an A2 card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock. I die cut the polka dot paper with the largest of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I chose the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics as another design element and cut it from the blue striped paper.

Next, I colored the girl with Copics and added dots to her sleep mask with a white gelly roll pen. I used the coordinating die to cut her out and adhered her to the right side of the tag. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto two Gravel Gray Card Stock strips and I heat embossed it in white.

For a bit of dimension I adhered the tag, the sentiment strips and the pink heart (Blueprint 27 Die-namics) with foam mounting tape. I finished the card off with two little white stars.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 2

10.04.2022

Hello sweet friends,

only 2 more days until the My Favorite Things April Release goes live. Don't miss all the inspiration and product reveals over on the MFT Blog.

I created an One Layer Card with the adorable Number Fun – 1 stamps illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller.

First, I stamped the little scene in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink – once on white cardstock and the second time on masking paper to protect the images. I ink blended the background with Distress Oxides (night sky: Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire; grass: Bundled Sage, Rustic Wilderness).

After carefully removing the masks, I colored the images with Copics. The birthday sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I trimmed down the card panel and adhered it to a square card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 3

09.04.2022

Happy weekend everyone,

we are halfway through the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown and I invite you to hop over to the MFT Blog to find out more about today's product reveals.

I have this fun Clean and Simple card to share with you today featuring the MSTN Stay Cool Die-namics.

In the background I used the gorgeous striped patterned paper from the Festive Celebrations Paper Pad. I just love this color palette! The sunglasses were created from Gravel Gray and Black Licorice cardstock. I added a bit of shading with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.

Next, I die cut each letter of the sentiment from the matching cardstock colors which you can always find in the helpful Prinatble Resources blog category under Patterned Paper Pads Reference Guides.

The white cardstock panel was die cut with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Finally, I assembled the card by adhering the die-cuts (I used the negative to align the letters) with liquid glue and popping up the sunglasses with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 4

08.04.2022

Hello everyone,

the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown continues. So check out the MFT Blog for today's release peeks.

Today I'm sharing a Clean and Simple card showcasing the You're My Sunshine stamps.

Aren't these cats just the cutest?! And I also have a thing for rainbows and clouds. I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. To cut everything out I used the You're My Sunshine Die-namics.

I wanted to create a subtle background and something to separate the card design optical. I decided to do some faded stenciling with the Ray Of Light Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass). The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 5

07.04.2022

Hi friends,

I'm so excited today as we're kicking off the countdown for the My Favorite Things April Release which is my very first release as an official MFT Design Team member. The new products will be available on Tuesday, April 12th at 10 am EDT.

The first card I'm sharing features the sweet Fairy Special stamp set. I created a colorful Spring scene by ink blending the background with Distress Oxide Inks. For the grass, I also used the new Scene Stencil - Rolling Hills.

I started off with a white A2 cardstock panel and blended on Wilted Violet, Milled Lavender, Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass for the sky. I let it fade into white and colored the grassy hill with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. When it was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copics. I cut them out with the coordinating Fairy Special Die-namics and adhered everything with liquid glue.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Spring Release • Out on a Limb Dies

Hi everyone,

Winter has made a little comeback last weekend but that won't stop me from creating spring themed cards ;-) Today I'm featuring the Out on a Limb Dies which go perfectly with the Cherry Blossoms layering stamp set.

First, I cut and scored a white A2 landscape card base. From the right bottom corner, I started blending the Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass in circular motions. I let it fade into white and added small ink splatters with a paint brush.

I cut out a window opening from another A2 white cardstock panel using the largest of the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.

Next, I die cut the tree branch and leaves from brown and green cardstock. I added a little shading with a darker tone of ink. The cherry blossoms were stamped with dye inks and I heat embossed the pistils in Gold. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

I adhered the branch, leaves and blossoms to the card and finished it off with three white Pure White Jewels.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
