MFT Stamps • June Card Kit • Countdown Day 2

27.06.2023

Hello everyone,

the beautiful Happy Occasions Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this coordinated collection of products is 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

I created a monochromatic card with the Bold Greenery Die-namics, the All the Happy Die-namics (Free with $60 option), the Happy Occasions stamp set and the Geometric Mosaic Stencil

First, I cut and scored a white A2 card base and trimmed down another white cardstock panel to the same size. I put the stencil on top and applied Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink through it. I die cut a circle with one of the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder. Then I adhered the circle to the center of the card.

Next, I die cut the leaves from three colors of cardstock – Sno Cone, Summer Splash and Tropical Teal. I arranged them on the left side of the cirlce letting them overlap each other. The letters for the word 'HAPPY' were die cut from Brushed Silver Card Stock as well as two layers of white cardstock. I stacked them together and placed them below the heat embossed sentiment. I finished off the card with a little heart.

MFT Stamps • June Card Kit • Countdown Day 1

26.06.2023

Hi friends,

today we're introducing the new Happy Occasions Card Kit that will be available tomorrow, June 27th at 10 am EDT.

On today's floral birthday card I used the Bold Blooms Die-namics, the Bold Greenery Die-namics and the Happy Occasions sentiment stamp set.

I started off with a white landscape A2 card base. I die cut another white cardstock panel with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. At the upper half, I stamped the big word 'HAPPY' with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Glitter. Below it, I stamped the sub sentiment and heat embossed it with Metallic Platinum Super Fine Embossing Powder. For dimension, I popped up the panel with foam tape.

Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves from colored cardstock. The colors I used are Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Jalapeño Popper, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Grapesicle and Grape Jelly. I arranged them underneath the heat embossed sentiment and adhered everything with liquid glue and thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • June Release Day

13.06.2023

Hi peeps,

it's here! The My Favorite Things June Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's final DT inspiration.

I created a Clean and Simple card using the One-of-a-Kind Friend stamp set again. These cute unicorns are so much fun!

I started off with a white A2 top-folding card base. For the water, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean). I added water droplets with a brush, let them sit for a couple of seconds and dabbed them off with a paper towel. When the panel was completely dry, I die cut it with the In Your Corner Die-namics and adhered the wavy stripes to the bottom of the card base.

Next, I stamped the unicorn sitting on the donut floatie in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the matching die to cut it out. I popped it up with foam tape and stamped one of the Everyday Scripted Greetings next to it with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 1

12.06.2023

Hello sweeties,

today we're wrapping up the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown. Please join us over on the MFT Blog where we are revealing the remaining products that will be available tomorrow.

I made a Mini Slimline card for a change using the MSTN Ages of Fun stamp set and the Happy Hexagons Stencil.

To start off, I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics. I placed the stencil on top and applied Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink letting the color fade to the outside of the panel. Then I adhered it to an 6"x3" Blue Beyond card base.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with liquid glue.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Black Licorice Card Stock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I glued it to the top right of my card.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 2

11.06.2023

Happy Sunday friends,

only 2 more sleeps until the My Favorite Things June Release goes live. Please check out today's product reveals and inspiring DT projects over on the MFT Blog.

I created another Summer Fun card with the One-of-a-Kind Friend stamp set and the Island Paradise Die-namics.

I started off with an A2 card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock. For the water, I trimmed down a white cardstock panel and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers). I added water droplets and ink spatters to create some texture and used the wave border die at the top.

For the background, I die cut the island (white cardstock, ink blended with Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap), palm tree (Kraft and Sour Apple Card Stock, shaded with Kraft Premium Dye Ink and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink) and starfish (white cardstock, colored with Copics). The clouds were die cut from white cardstock and I applied Tumbled Glass ink to the edges.

Next, I stamped the unicorn sitting on the flamingo floatie in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the matching die to cut it out.

Finally, I assembled the card by adhering everything with liquid glue and stamping the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink in-between the palm tree and clouds.

10.06.2023

Hello again,

we are halfway to the My Favorite Things June Release Day and would love you to join us over on the MFT Blog for today's sneak peeks.

One can never have enough of Rainbows and Love, right?! I created a CAS card with the rainbow from the Sign of the Times Die-namics set. I also used one of the big Pride Is for Everyone sentiments and some images from the previously released I'm Glad We Fit In stamp set.

To start off, I cut and scored an A2 top-folding card base from white cardstock. I also cut out a white cardstock panel with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. The rainbow arches were die cut from Ripe Raspberry, Lemon Drop, Limelight and Summer Splash Card Stock.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, did some coloring with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered the rainbow and images with liquid glue and stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink below.

Finally, I popped up the stitched rectangle panel with this happy little scene to the card base using foam tape.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 4

09.06.2023

Hi everyone,

it's Countdown Day 4 for the My Favorite Things June Release and today's previews are all about sandy beaches and having fun in the sun!

I created a square card using the YUZU Being a Grandparent is the Best stamp set and the Sand, Surf, Sky 6x6 Paper Pad.

First, I created a 4.5"x4.5" card base from Cornflower Card Stock. I trimmed down the wavy patterned paper and cut out the sand with the edge die from the Under the Sea Die-namics set. I layered the papers on top of each other and adhered them with liquid glue to the card base.

Next, I stamped the adorable kids and accessories in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Cornflower Card Stock rectangle and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. For a little bit of dimension, I popped up the images and sentiment with foam squares.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 5

08.06.2023

Hello crafty friends,

I'm so excited as we're kicking off the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown. All the new products will be available on Tuesday, June 13th at 10 am EDT.

On my first card, I created a colorful underwater scene combining the Mermaid for Each Other and Oceans of Fun stamps.

I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down another white cardstock panel to the same size for my ink blended water background. I used the Distress Oxide Inks Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. For a bit of texture, I splattered on some water droplets, let them sit for a couple of seconds and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

The sea floor and rock were cut out with dies from the Under the Sea Die-namics set. To achieve the look of sand, I inked the die-cut with Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink. The rock was cut from Cement Gray Card Stock and I added a bit of shading with Iced Spruce ink.

Next, I stamped the mermaid, critters and sea plants in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with liquid glue and thin foam squares. To finish off the card, I added some clear enamel dots as shiny water bubbles.

Please check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a magical day!
