MFT Stamps • June Card Kit Release Day

21.06.2022

Hi there,

the new Beach Day Card Kit is now available for purchase! The price for this great collection of coordinated products is 30% off the cost of purchasing the elements separately.

And you can combine these items with other products you already have in your stash. That's what I did on today's card.

I created a sunny beach scene using the versatile Sand and Surf Die-namics which are sold in addition to the card kit. The Itty Bitty Summer sentiment stamp set is the newest Free with $60 gift option.

The waves and sandy beach were colored with Karin Brushmarkers and a bit of white gouache paint. I added a cloudy border and inked the Sunny Rays Stencil in yellow.

I couldn't resist using one of the YUZU Pig Time Fun cuties as well. The bucket and shovel are included in the separately sold Sandcastle Builder Die-namics set.

MFT Stamps • June Card Kit • Countdown Day 1

20.06.2022

Happy Monday everyone,

today we're introducing the brand new Beach Day Card Kit which will be available tomorrow, June 21st at 10 am EDT.

This summer themed kit comes with dies to create some wonderful beach scenes and also includes a sentiment stamp set.

I created this card with the Beach Bungalow Die-namics, Beach Bungalow Accessories and Shady Palm Die-namics. I also used the separately sold Sand and Surf Die-namics to create my own stencil.

I started off with a white A2 card base and ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks (sand: Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap, sky: Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina).

Next, I die cut all the pieces for the sweet beach bungalow, palm tree, gulls and ball from Prestige Card Stock. I assembled the die-cuts and adhered them to the card. Finally, I stamped one of the Itty Bitty Summer sentiments (Free with $60 gift option) at the bottom with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

MFT Stamps • June Release Day

07.06.2022

Hi friends,

YAY! It's Release Day! All the new My Favorite Things June Release products are now available for purchase.

I made a Mini Slimline card with the sweet Parachute Pals stamp set. I love the color palette of the new MSTN Stars and Stripes Paper Pad – so I had to use it again for this card.

I started off with a white cardstock panel and created a soft cloudy background with the Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped one of the Sunny Rays Sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink at the bottom left corner and added a patterned paper strip to the right side.

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers and used the matching Parachute Pals Die-namics to cut them out. Finally, I alternately adhered the clouds and bunny images across the card.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 1

06.06.2022

Happy Monday everyone,

the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown wraps up today and we are revealing the remaining products that will be available tomorrow.

I created a Clean & Simple card featuring the adroable Rainbow Critters stamps. I love how you can put these cuties on top of the rainbow.

First, I created a 4.25" x 4.25" square card base from white cardstock. I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating Rainbow Critters Die-namics to cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and I adhered the images aroud it.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 2

05.06.2022

Hi friends,

only 2 more days until the My Favorite Things June Release goes live. Check out today's inspiration and product reveals over on the MFT Blog.

I created a summer themed card using the Best Beach Friends stamp set along with the Pastures, Ponds and Pools Stencil.

I started off with a white cardstock panel and blended Tumbled Glass and a bit of Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil to create a pond. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black directly inside the stenciled area.

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating Best Beach Friends Die-namics to cut them out. I arranged them around the water and added a patterned paper strip to the right side.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 3

04.06.2022

Hello again,

we are halfway through the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown with another great selection of new products.

Rainbows and unicorns are a match made in heaven! So for today's card I combined the whimsical YOUnicorn stamps and the Stitched Tall Rainbow Die-namics.

First, I die cut the stitched rainbow from Bristol smooth cardstock and watercolored each individual stripe with Karin Brushmarkers. After letting them dry, I adhered the rainbow to an A2 card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock

I also die cut a cloud border (Mini Slimline Outside the Box Clouds Die-namics) and two of the Cutest Clouds Ever from white cardstock and added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the edges. Then I stamped one of the Rainbow Critters sentiments onto the cloud border using VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder and adhered the border and clouds over the rainbow.

Next, I stamped the unicorn and colored it with Copics. I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it up with foam tape on top of the rainbow and cloud border.

GD Sunny Studio Stamps • Country Carnival

Hi everyone,

today I'm excited to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps. I'm sharing two cards made with the Country Carnival Stamps from the latest Summer Release.

On my first card, I created a fun carnival scene using the carousel, ticket booth, popcorn stand, balloons and bear images.

I started off with ink blending the background. To create a cotton candy colored sky, I used the Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar. The ground was blended with Hickory Smoke ink. I die cut it with the stitched rectangle die from the Frilly Frames Retro Petals set. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and adhered the background to the white A2 card base.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhered everything with liquid glue.

For my second card, I used the awesome ferris wheel and combined it with a couple of other images.

This time I created a portrait A2 card base from white cardstock and blended on some Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink in the background. For the two grass hills, I used Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters and die cut them with the Slimline Nature Border Dies.

I picked the girl and boy from the Spring Showers set as well as the small trees included in the Balloon Rides set. The images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I colored them with Copic Markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I also added the word 'FUN' which I die cut from colored and white cardstock using the Chloe Alphabet Dies. Finally, I assembled the scene by adhering the die cuts, sentiment and images.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing day!

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 4

03.06.2022

Hello friends,

we're into the second day of the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown with more new product reveals and wonderful inspiration.

Today I'm sharing a card with the sweet Pig Time Fun stamp set designed by YUZU. I also used the new Sunny Rays Stencil and the MSTN Stars and Stripes Paper Pad.

I started off with trimming down the white cardstock for the stenciling as well as the patterned papers to fill an entire A2 sized card. I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil letting the color fade towards the outside.

Next, I stamped the pig, hat and gulls, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating YUZU Pig Time Fun Die-namics to cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto a white cardstock rectangle. For a bit of dimension, I popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape over the flat glued down stenciled and patterned paper background.

MFT Stamps • June Release Countdown Day 5

02.06.2022

Hi peeps,

today we're kicking off the countdown to the My Favorite Things June Release. All the new products will be available on Tuesday, June 7th at 10 am EDT.

I picked the new Stacey Yacula stamp set Reel-y Great Day for my first card which would be perfect for a man's birthday.

First, I did some ink blending and stenciling to create a little pond scene. Therefore I used Distress Oxide Inks and the previously released Scene Stencil - Rolling Hills. For the water of the pond, I masked off the background and blended on Broken China, Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass ink. Then I covered the pond with the mask and blended together Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio, Antique Linen, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. Finally, I added ink splatters with a paint brush and let it dry.

Next, I used the two little wave dies from the Better Together Die-namics set at the bottom of the pond. I cut out the panel with the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics and adhered it to a white A2 card base.

I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating Reel-y Great Day Die-namics to cut everthing out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black fishtail banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I finished off the card by adhering the images and sentiment banner using liquid glue.
