DT Make it Crafty CAS Inspiration | Angel Fluffy Cloud

30.11.2016

Hi everyone,

today I have another inspiration card for the Make it Crafty Store Blog. Since I'm still working on my Christmas cards, I've picked this sweet Angel Fluffy Cloud Digi Stamp (which could be used all year round).

I've printed her in grey because I did some soft and light Copic coloring and thought the black outlines would be too harsh. I used two older patterned papers (Authentique and Carta Bella) from my stash and die cut a window with the My Favorite Things «Starry Circle» Die-namics.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Sunny Studio «Holiday Style» stamp set. Next, I popped up the panel with foam tape. The Starry Night Chipboard Set was the perfect match to decorate my card with lots of stars. I just love the look of the plain cream chipboards!

I'm joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme Anything Goes.

Concord & 9th Overlapping Leaves

23.11.2016

Hello everyone,

for today's card I was inspired by a pattern on a tissue box ;-) I found the perfect stamp in the «Lace Leaf» set from Concord & 9th.

I stamped the leaf multiple times using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in shades of aqua, blue and green. I love how these overlapping leaves turned out. Next, I stamped the German sentiment (which means «Congratulations»; Dani Peuss Klartext-Stempel «Glückwunsch») in VersaMark on a piece of vellum and heat embossed it in white. To finish my card, I added some white enamel dots from Doodlebug.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

DT Make it Crafty CAS Inspiration | Rudolf Reindeer

18.11.2016

Hi peeps,

I created a new Clean & Simple inspiration card for the Make it Crafty Store Blog.

I've chosen the cute Rudolf Reindeer Digi Stamp for my Christmas card and colored it with Copics. For the background I blended Distress Inks («Mermaid Lagoon» and «Tumbled Glass») and added a couple flicks of water to lift the color in some spots.

Next, I cut a snow hill from white cardstock using the My Favorite Things «Stitched Basic Edges» Die-namics. The German sentiment (which means «Merry Christmas»; Dani Peuss Klartext-Stempel «Warme Grüße») was stamped with VersaFine «Onyx Black».

Finally, I assembled my card and added three chipoard stars and a red gemstone for Rudolf's nose.

I'm joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme Christmas Critters.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #47

15.11.2016

Hi everyone,

for the latest bastel-traum.ch Challenge we want to see your creative «Christmas» projects.
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
This challenge will run until December 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

I created this holiday card featuring one of the cute bunnies from the Mama Elephant «Pix's Happy Holiday» set.

The color scheme with gold, white and pink isn't very traditional but «girly» ;-) I colored the bunny with my Copics and did some fussy cutting leaving a small white border. Next, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock using my all-time-favorite «Stitched Rectangle» die from Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped the sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp «Believe» set with VersaMark and heat embossed them in gold. This huge scripty word «believe» is absolutely gorgeous and can be combined with several other beautiful phrases for multiple occasions. The stars and sprinkles from the ME set were stamped with Tsukineko «Delicata Golden Glitz» pigment ink. I also added some tiny stars which I die cut from golden glitter cardstock.

Finally, I adhered the stamped panel to a pink card base and popped up the flying little «angel» bunny with foam tape. I covered the wings with Clear Wink of Stella Glitter.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Masculine Christmas Card

12.11.2016

Hello everyone,

only 6 weeks until Christmas and just like every year, I'm already behind with my card production ;-)

Today I want to show you a more masculine holiday card using dies, a sentiment stamp as well as patterned and wood veneer paper. I like that you could easily mass-produce this kind of card.

This fun plaid is from Bazzill Basics Paper («Nordic Pines») and I cut a window using an oval die. Next, I die-cut the deer head (Savvy Stamps) from cherry wood veneer paper. I wrapped a piece of thick red wool string around his neck and attached a small silver bell. I adhered the deer and the paper panel to my cream card base with foam tape.

The sentiment (which means «Merry Christmas»; #27 Weihnachten) is from a small German manufacturer called Papierprojekt. I white heat embossed it on a banner cut from black cardstock. To finish my card, I added three black die-cut stars.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge November

05.11.2016

Good morning everyone,

it's the 5th of the month which means there's a new theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge.

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

This time we invite you to play Bingo with us – you could choose any vertical, horizontal or diagonal row:

I went with the bottom horizontal row and used Charms, Dies and Grey on my winter card.

How adorable is this yeti from the My Favorite Things Birdie Brown «Beast Friends» stamp set?! The coloring was done with Copics and I fussy cut him with scissors. I did some Paper Piecing by stamping the scarf and the small gift onto some patterned paper (MFT «Dots & Stripes Neutral» 6x6 Paper Pack).

Next, I created a little winter scene using the MFT «Snowfall – Vertical» die as well as the «Stitched Basic Edges» Die-namics for the glittery snow hill. I did some light Ink Blending with Simon Says Stamp dye inks («Sea Glass», «Maliblue»). The trees (MFT «Oh Christmas Trees») were stamped in several shades of grey (SSS «Fog», «Stone», «Fossil», «Cobblestone») and cut with the coordinating dies. I adhered all of the elements to my top-folding card base made from SSS «Fog» cardstock.

For the front panel, I stamped the MFT «Confetti» Background with white pigment ink onto another piece of «Fog» cardstock. I die-cut a window using the MFT «Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows» Die-namics and heat embossed the sentiment in Ranger «Liquid Platinum». Finally, I wrapped some linen ribbon around it and tied a bow with jute string where I attached the snowflake charm. I popped up the panel with foam tape.

You will have time until November 30th, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a cozy weekend!
