MFT Stamps • May Card Kit Release

23.05.2023

Hi friends,

the gorgeous Everything Wonderful Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this collection of coordinated products is more than 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

I really like that you can use the blooms as they are or do some stitching with thread to make them even more sophisticated.

On today's card I combined the Framing Foliage Die-namics with one of the Everything Wonderful sentiment stamps.

First, I created an A2 landscape card base from white cardstock. I die cut a Tropical Teal Card Stock panel with the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. Looking at the shape of the corner leaves base I figured it would fit one of the Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics. I cut the leaves twice from Sour Apple Card Stock and stacked the die-cuts on top of each other to make them more sturdy. The hexagon was cut from white cardstock and I stamped the sentiment at the center, slightly offset to the right.

Next, I die cut the flowers from Ripe Raspberry, Summer Splash, Grape Jelly and Boysenberry Card Stock. The flower centers were made from Cotton Candy, Lemondrop and Grape Jelly. I filled some of the holes that can be used for stitching with Liquid Pearls and covered the others with small white half pearls. Finally, I adhered everything using liquid glue.

MFT Stamps • May Card Kit • Countdown Day 1

22.05.2023

Hello everyone,

today I'm back as we are introducing the new Everything Wonderful Card Kit that will be available tomorrow, May 23rd at 10 am EDT.

The kit comes with a great selection of sentiments and beautiful stitchable flowers as well as versatile leaves.

I created a simple sympathy card with the Lush Leaves Die-namics and a sentiment from the add-on stamp set So Very Sorry For Your Loss.

I started off with a white A2 landscape cardbase and die cut one of the Stitched Designer Octagon STAX Die-namics from Kraft Card Stock. For a bit of interest, I spattered on white paint with a brush.

The leaves were die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and I watercolored them with Karin Brushmarkers. I stamped the sentiment onto a Black Licorice Card Stock rectangle and white heat embossed it. I adhered everything with liquid glue and added a white enamel heart as embellishment.

Here's a sneak peek at the May Card Kit:

MFT Stamps • May Release Day

09.05.2023

Hi sweet friends,

the fabulous My Favorite Things May Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's final DT inspiration.

If you need a quick and cute card, the new Pop-Up Pals Die-namics and coordinating stamps (included in the die set) will come in handy. I created this birthday card with a sweet panda as the focal point.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. Did you know that MFT has re-released ten of their favorite paper pads? I used two on my card as they matched perfectly – I combined a Subtle Plaid and a Watercolor Wash patterned paper. I cut them out with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics.

Next, I die cut all the pieces of the panda from Smooth White and Black Licorice Card Stock. I stamped the face and stripes onto his body with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I added some rosy cheeks and the ear insides with Copics. The streamers are from the YUZU Presents and Pupcakes stamp set.

Now I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Pop-Up Phrases set onto a Sno Cone Card Stock strip. I cut it out with the fishtail banner die fom the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set. Finally, I adhered the panda, streamers and sentiment banner with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • May Release Countdown Day 1

08.05.2023

Happy Monday peeps,

it's the final day of the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown. Please join us as we are revealing the remaining products that will be available tomorrow.

Today I have a little scene to share featuring the cute I'm Glad We Fit In stamp set. I just love these adorable critters!

First, I created a landscape A2 card base from white cardstock and trimmed down a Grapesicle Card Stock panel to the same size. I used the second largest of the Stitched Designer Octagon STAX Die-namics to cut out a window and adhered the frame to the card base. With the same die, I also die cut an octagon from white cardstock. With the help of the Drifts and Hills Stencil, I blended on Bundled Sage (grass) and Tumbled Glass (sky) Distress Oxide Ink to create the background and inserted the octagon inside the window frame.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out and assembled the scene by adhering the images.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto a Black Licorice Card Stock strip and white heat embossed it. I cut it out with the fishtail banner die fom the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set and glued it to the bottom of the card.

Please check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

MFT Stamps • May Release Countdown Day 2

07.05.2023

Happy Sunday everyone,

only 2 more days until the My Favorite Things May Release goes live. Please check out today's product reveals and inspiring DT projects over on the MFT Blog.

I created a Teacher Appreciation card on which I combined the Teach, Sleep, Repeat stamps, Back to School Die-namics and "Dry Erase" Whiteboard Die-namics (I created a chalkboard instead).

I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down a Gravel Gray Card Stock panel to be slightly smaller. I die cut my chalkboard from Black Licorice and Kraft Card Stock (frame) and stamped one of the large sentiments with white pigment ink. To enhance the chalkboard look, I also applied a bit of ink to the edges with a sponge dauber.

Next, I die cut the apple, books, pencil and crayon from white and colored cardstock (Smooth White, Cornflower, Cotton Candy, Lemon Drop, Red Hot, Sour Apple, Field Day, Milk Chocolate, Summer Splash, Kraft, Grape Jelly, Boysenberry, Black Licorice). I added a bit of shading to the apple using Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Ink.

Finally, I assembled the die cuts and adhered everything with liquid glue.

MFT Stamps • May Release Countdown Day 3

06.05.2023

Hi again,

we are halfway to the My Favorite Things May Release Day with another round of product previews and inspiration.

Today's card features the Peaceful Birds stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. This larger 6" x 8" set comes with a birdhouse, greenery and a couple of sweet birdies.

I started off with a white A2 card base and another white cardstock panel in the same size. I cut out a window with the second largest die of the new Stitched Designer Octagon STAX Die-namics set.

The ink blended background was done directly on the front of the card base. I used Tattered Rose and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink to create a soft blend. For a bit of dimension, I popped up the window panel with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I tucked the images inside the octagon window and adhered them with liquid glue and thin foam squares.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of Cement Gray Card Stock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut it out with a fishtail banner die from the Money Card Die-namics set. I adhered it with foam tape as well and added an enamel heart to finish off my card.

MFT Stamps • May Release Countdown Day 4

05.05.2023

Hi friends,

it's Day 4 of the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown and today's products are extra cute!

I just had to use the adorable new YUZU stamp set called Little Rascal. I love their fun poses and sweet face expressions.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. The patterned paper from the new Houndstooth Brights Paper Pad was trimmed to be slightly smaller.

For the background of my little scene, I used the Cloud Stencil and the Grassy Edges Stencil along with Distress Oxide Inks (clouds: Tumbled Glass; grass: Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron). I cut it out with the 3 1/2" die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics set.

Next, I stamped the raccoons and flowers in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I stamped the birthday sentiment onto a piece of Sno Cone Card Stock using VersaMarkInk. I heat embossed it with Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder and cut it out with the stitched die from the Blueprints 9 Die-namics set. To finish off the card I adhered everything with liquid glue and thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • May Release Countdown Day 5

04.05.2023

Hello everyone,

today we're kicking off the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown. All the new products will be available on Tuesday, May 9th at 10 am EDT.

My first card features some new die sets which coordinate beautifully to create a wonderful outdoor scene.

I started off with a white A2 top-folding card base and did some light stenciling in the background. I used Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink and the English Brick Wall Stencil.

For my patio scene, I combined the Outdoor View, Outdoor Décor, Patio Plants and Lush Landscape Die-namics. The cardstock colors are Smooth White, Sour Apple, Field Day, Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Kraft and Gravel Gray. I also trimmed two strips from Cement Gray Card Stock to create stairs below the window. The rug was cut from a piece of yellow striped patterned paper (Floor to Ceiling Paper Pad). I backed the window frame with a piece of white cardstock on which I blended a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. To add some detail to the tree and flowers I used my Copic markers.

Next, I stamped one of the simple Outdoor Oasis Sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black at the very bottom of the card. Finally, I assembled the die cuts and adhered everything with liquid glue and thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • YUZU Hunny Bunny • Happy Birthday

30.04.2023

Happy Sunday peeps,

I'm always in need of birthday cards ;-) I think balloons, cute critters and polka dots are the perfect combo. The bunny hanging on a heart balloon from the YUZU Hunny Bunny set works great as a focal point. You could create a couple of cards using this quick and simple design.

I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down the blue Poppin' Polka Dots paper to the same size. I adhered the patterned paper to the card base using liquid glue. Next, I pulled the birthday edge die from the Blueprints 26 Die-namics set. I placed it at angle onto a piece of white cardstock (4.25" wide) and ran it through my die-cutting machine.

The image was stamped in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored with Copic markers. I cut it out with the matching die and added highlights with a white gelly roll pen.

To complete the sentiment, I stamped the word 'happy' from the Mod & Merry set in Cornflower Premium Dye Ink onto a white cardstock strip. Finally, I adhered everything with foam tape to create a bit of dimension on this CAS card.

Hi everyone,

the new and fun workspace-themed The Office Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this collection of coordinated products is more than 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

For today's card I combined 4 of the 5 new die sets: the At My Desk Die-namics, Around the Water Cooler Die-namics, Office Greenery Die-namics and The View from My Office Die-namics.

Next, I die cut the window, office furniture and accessories from white and colored cardstock (Grape Jelly, Jalapeño Popper, Sno Cone, Kraft, Milk Chocolate, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray, Black Licorice). The blinds were die cut from vellum and for the outside view piece I did some faded ink blending with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.

24.04.2023

Hello lovely friends,

today I'm happy to be introducing you to The Office Card Kit that will be available tomorrow, April 25th at 10 am EDT.

I created a light and friendly workspace using the At My Desk Die-namics and the Around the Water Cooler Die-namics.

I masked off half an inch at the bottom and did some circular faded ink blending with Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. Then I switched the mask and covered the background to do the floor in Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink.

Next, I die cut all the bits and pieces from white and colored cardstock (Boysenberry, Kraft, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray, Black Licorice). I assembled the scene by arranging and adhering the die-cuts. Finally, I stamped one of the Breakroom Buddies sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink to finish off the card.

Hi sweeties,

the wait is over! The My Favorite Things April Release is now available for purchase! Check out the MFT Blog for today's final DT inspiration.

I couldn't resist using the Buzzing with Happiness stamp set again. Those bee gnomes are just the cutest!

I started off with a regular sized A2 Gravel Gray card base and trimmed down a yellow Diagonal Gingham paper to be slightly smaller. Next, I cut out a white cardstock panel with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. To create a window opening, I used the Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics and adhered a yellow Poppin' Polka Dots paper behind it.

Now I stamped the gnome with the bee hive and one of the little bees. I did some Copic coloring and used the matching dies to cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a grey fishtail banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment banner with foam tape.

10.04.2023

Happy Monday peeps,

we've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown wraps up today. Please join us as we are revealing the remaining products that will be available tomorrow.

The new Movie Icons Die-namics set goes perfectly with the existing Money Card Die-namics.

First, I die cut the Money Card base and the Gift Card Pocket from Boysenberry Card Stock. To add a bit of pattern to the purple cardstock, I sponged some Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink through the Sunny Rays Stencil.

I die cut the Movie Icons from colored cardstock (Smooth White, Chantilly Cream, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray, Black Licorice, Red Hot, Something Blue, Tropical Teal) and assembled them. To some of the pieces I added some shading with Copics.

Then I remembered the ticket included in the Blueprints 9 Die-namics set and cut it from Kraft Card Stock. I partially stamped the word 'Enjoy' onto the ticket with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

I adhered the die-cuts with glue as well as thin foam squares and stamped one of the Movie Night sentiments onto a black cardstock strip. I heat embossed it in white and used a fishtail banner die from the Money Card Die-namics set to cut it out.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 2

09.04.2023

Happy Easter everyone,

only 2 more days until the My Favorite Things April Release goes live. Please check out today's product reveals and inspiring DT projects over on the MFT Blog.

I made this card with the adorable Potted Pets-Die-namics – I would definitely buy these cuties ;-)

To fit all three critters next to each other, I went with a special card size. The card base measures 6.75" x 3.75" and the Sno Cone Card Stock panel is 6.5" x 3.5" in size.

Next, I die cut the pots and plants from colored cardstock (Black Licorice, Gravel Gray, Cement Gray, Chantilly Cream, Kraft, Milk Chocolate; Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Sour Apple, Field Day). The small flowers, tiny heart and light pink parts were cut from another bunch of cardstock colors (Princess Pink, Cotton Candy, Poppin' Pink, Lemon Drop, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal). I added a bit of Copic shading to the plants and pink die-cuts.

The Grow Together sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink at the top of the Sno Cone panel and I heat embossed it with Salavaged Patina Embossing Glaze.

Finally, I assembled everything and adhered the pots with thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 3

08.04.2023

Hey there,

we are halfway to the My Favorite Things April Release Day sharing some elegant and floral products.

I created a pretty bouquet using the Flowers & Filler Die-namics as well as the Flower Foundations Die-namics.

I started off with a white A2 card base and cut a light pink paper from the Springing for Houndstooth Paper Pad to the same size. Next, I die cut one of the Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics from Gravel Gray Card Stock and adhered it to the center of the card using foam tape.

For the flower bouquet, I first die cut the paper wrap from Kraft Card Stock and assembled it. The flowers, leaves and sprigs were die cut from several cardstock colors (Princess Pink, Cotton Candy, Poppin' Pink, Fire Coral, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Field Day, Jalapeño Popper, Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Grape Jelly, Smooth White).

Now I arranged the bouquet and tucked the die-cuts inside the paper wrap. I adhered everything at an angle and stamped one of the Word Bouquet sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a Tropical Teal Card Stock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and popped up the strip with foam squares. To finish off my card, I added clear iridescent baubles.

Now I invite you to visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

I created a bedtime scene with the sweet YUZU In My Prayers stamps and the new Springing for Houndstooth patterned paper.

First, I cut and scored a white A2 card base and used a piece of the lilac houndstooth paper as wallpaper. For the floor, I trimmed down a matching Poppin' Polka Dots paper.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. For a bit of dimension, I popped up the images with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped one of the A Big Thank You sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it in white.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 5

06.04.2023

Hello friends,

so excited as we're kicking off the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown today. All the new products will be available on Tuesday, April 11th at 10 am EDT.

On my first card, I combined the Buzzing with Happiness stamp set and the Peek-a-Boo Honeycomb Die-namics.

I started off by creating a white A2 landscape card base. From another white A2 cardstock panel I die cut the honeycomb design which creates all those perfect hexagon openings. I stamped one of the bee trails in-between two hexagons. After that, I adhered a piece of Lemon Drop Card Stock behind the honeycomb panel and popped it up with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the cute gnomes and bees in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored everything with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. The birthday sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment strip with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • March Card Kit Release

28.03.2023

Hi peeps,

the wait is over! You can now order the jam-packed At the Movies Card Kit and all the fabulous add-ons.

The price for this collection of coordinated products is more than 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

I did some creative masking for today's One Layer Card on which I combined the Birdie Brown Birthday Bears with the small images from the Concesson Signage stamp set.

First, I created a standard A2 sized card from white cardstock. I stamped the two bears at the center and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped parts of the images again onto post-it notes to mask off the paws. Now I stamped the popcorn and drink over the masks to make it look like the bears are holding them. After coloring the images, I stamped out new masks to cover up everything before doing the background.

To create the floor, I masked off about two thirds of the top and blended on Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink which is a perfect light grey. Then I switched the mask to cover up the bottom and lightly applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink in circular motions.

Next, I put the Sunny Rays Stencil on top and sponged through Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, letting the color fade out towards the outside. Finally, I stamped one of the Picture-Perfect Sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink below the bears.

Here's the March Card Kit again (don't forget to have a look at the add-ons):

MFT Stamps • March Card Kit • Countdown Day 1

27.03.2023

Hello everyone,

it's another day of previews for the At the Movies Card Kit and all the amazing add-ons that will be available tomorrow.

I love going to the movie theater with friends or family (although it's been a while), so this is what I came up with:

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down a Black Licorice Card Stock panel to be a bit smaller and masked off the bottom half. I applied Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink through the English Brick Wall Stencil.

Next, I used the At the Movies Die-namics to die cut the seat rows from red and grey cardstock (Red Hot, Amarena Cherry, Wild Cherry, Gravel Gray). You can't see it really in the photo, but I added score lines between the seats. I also used grey Copic markers to darken the grey top parts for a bit of variation.

I stamped one of the Picture-Perfect Sentiments onto a piece of black cardstock and used the rectangle die from the Movie Screen Die-namics set to cut it out. I adhered it to the stenciled background and added the popcorn and drinks from the Movie Munchies Die-namics set. I finished off the card with three white stars.

Here's another peek at the March Card Kit:

MFT Stamps • March Card Kit • Countdown Day 2

26.03.2023

Happy Sunday peeps,

today we're introducing this month's entertaining At the Movies Card Kit that will be available on Tuesday, March 28th at 10 am EST.

Do you enjoy movies? Then this kit with its innovative products is just perfect as it allows you to come up with all kinds of movie-themed scenes!

On today's card, I used the At the Movies - Romance stamps and one of the Picture-Perfect Sentiments. The Movie Screen Die-namics, Landscape Die-namics and Rear View Die-namics helped create a romantic scene in a drive-in cinema.

I started off with a landscape A2 card base and a Bristol Smooth Cardstock panel in the same size. I masked off the bottom third and did an ink blended sunset sky using Distress Oxides (Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Black Soot). After letting it dry, I switched the mask to cover the sky and blended Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink together to create the grass. After die cutting the bushes and trees, I added the same ink colors to them that I previously used for the sky.

Next, I die cut the movie screen and car from colored cardstock (Black Licorice, Blue Beyond, Summer Splash, Amarena Cherry, Gravel Gray, Smooth White). I used the heart die from the Love Icons Die-namics set to create a sunset movie scene (Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold) with the silhouette heads of the couple stamped in black.

I adhered all the die-cuts to the scene and also put two people (Heads Up Die-namics) inside the car. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink directly onto the grass.

Here's a look at the March Card Kit:

MFT Stamps • Wednesday Sketch Challenge 638

22.03.2023

Hi friends,

it's time again for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at the MFT Blog. Join the challenge with a new project following the sketch for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.

Although it's finally Spring and getting warmer, I created one last winter-themed card since I really wanted to use the adorable Beary Special stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller.

When I saw this week's sketch, I remembered the cards that I previously made with the Snowflake Flurry Background stamp. I happened to have two strips left and was glad I could use them for this card. The snowflakes were originally stamped in VersaMark Ink onto Sno Cone and Summer Splash Card Stock and heat embossed with Judikins Iridescent Embossing Powder. I adhered the strips to a white A2 card base.

Next, I stamped the sweet polar bears and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped, colored and die cut the snowbank from the Stacey Yacula Polar Opposites set.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Love Notes set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a thin Black Licorice Card Stock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered the strip as well as the images to the card.

Here is this week's sketch #638:

MFT Stamps • February Ready, Set, Christmas! Challenge

16.03.2023

Hello everyone,

it's time again for the monthly Ready, Set, Christmas! challenge which takes place over on the MFT Blog.

On my square inspiration card, I used the sweet littlefox from the Freezin' Season stamp set.

First, I started off with a white square card base and trimmed down a Bristol Smooth cardstock panel for the ink blended background. I picked the Distress Oxide Inks Uncharted Mariner, Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass for this ombré winter sky. I added white paint spatters to mimic falling snow.

Next, I die cut a snow hill from white cardstock using one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the edge. The sentiment is from the Holiday Cheers set and I stampe it in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

In addition to the fox, I stamped two gifts from the Pure Innocence Christmas Sweetheart set and colored the images with Copic markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies and used foam adhesive to add dimension.

I invite you to join the challenge with any new holiday-themed project for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.

Make sure to check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!
