Hi again,
For Day 2 of the Hello Bluebird Background Bash, I'm sharing a fall-themed card where I used the gorgeous Cozy Plaid Background. And don't forget, that the release of 6 new background stamps will go live tomorrow on Friday, July 26th! The older designs will be restocked, too!
This plaid pattern works just perfect for fall projects and I stamped it with Altenew "Autumn Blaze" dye ink onto cream cardstock. I did a simple card layout by combining the plaid with beautiful wine red cardstock and a strip of navy/white patterned paper.
The adorable critters and autumn leaves are from the Fall Buddies set. I colored the squirrel, pumpkin and mouse with Prismacolor pencils. The leaves were watercolored with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black on a piece of kraft cardstock which I adhered with foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great evening!
Anja

Hi everyone,
I'm back again with a new inspiration card featuring the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Dies from the latest Sunny Studio Stamps Fall Release.
My grey card base is a bit smaller than the regular A2 size. First, I ran the 2-piece die set together through my die cutting machine to create the white retro petal background with a stitched border. Next, I adhered a colorful Distress Oxide ink blended panel behind it.
I stamped this little cutie and some leaves from the Silly Sloths set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. I die cut the stitched label (Sliding Window Dies) from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. To finish off my card, I adhered a small purple clay heart (Pink & Purple Heart Confetti).
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a slothsome day!

Hello everyone,
I have some exciting news for you – Hello Bluebird will be releasing 6 new background stamps on Friday, July 26th! We're doing a fun Background Bash sharing our DT cards using previously released and brand-new backgrounds.
For my baby card, I picked one of my all time favorites which is the Country Gingham Background Stamp.
First, I stamped the gingham pattern in Altenew "Dew Drop" dye ink. I also silver heat embossed the sentiment from the Cheery Greetings set. Although it's not visible on the photo, I used the die-cut overlay technique. This means, I used the coordinating die of this cute giraffe from the More Jungle Littles set and cut it out of the gingham background. I stamped the giraffe using the negative as a guide and colored it with Copics. I layered the gingham panel over the image and adhered it with foam tape.
To finish off this CAS card, I die cut the 'hello' word die (Gallery Frame #1 set) from teal cardstock and adhered it between the giraffe and the embossed sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow with another sample!

Hello everyone,
have you seen the brand-new Sunny Studio Stamps Fall Release yet? It's full of gorgeous products and I'm excited to share my projects the upcoming weeks.
Today, I'm showcasing the fun Plane Awesome Stamps. This set comes with an airplane, five interchangeable critter pilots, two clouds, a banner and lots of sentiments to mix and match.
I started off with a white A2 card base and die cut an aqua panel with the stitched scalloped die from the Frilly Frames Stripes set. To create a window, I used a circle die. Next, I die cut the Fluffy Clouds Borders from white cardstock and inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I adhered them with a piece of yellow sunburst paper (Spring Sunburst 6x6 Paper) behind the circle window.
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment and stitched swirl were directly stamped onto the scalloped panel using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Finally, I added two of the Primary Star Confetti clay embellishments next to the sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope to see you again next week!

Hello everyone,
today I don't have a card for you but a fun little treat box made with the Sunny Studio Stamps Wrap Around Gift Box Dies. I really like that with a bit of measuring and precise cutting, you only need one sheet of 8.5" x 11" cardstock for the box.
I decorated it with the two mini stamp sets Coastal Cuties and Sending Sunshine. I also used the Catch A Wave Dies and some patterned papers from the Summer Splash 6x6 Paper pack to turn it into summer project (although it is actually too hot for chocolate at the moment).
I stamped the sweet girl, the palm tree and the parrot in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. To cut out the images, I used the coordinating dies. I also die cut a small gift tag, stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and white heat embossed it.
This was my last project with products from the Summer release. Next week we're already starting with sharing samples using the upcoming Fall release. So stay tuned!
