MFT Stamps • What's Cookin' Card Kit • Release Day

28.11.2023

Hi crafty friends,

the fabulous My Favorite Things What's Cookin' Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this coordinated collection of products is 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

I used several of the die sets to create another kitchen scene, this time on a square card. For some extra sweetness, I added the adorable kitty from the JB Kitchen Cuties stamp set.

I started off with a white card base and trimmed down one of the Diagonal Gingham Papers to be a bit smaller. Onto another white square panel, I did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxides (Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, Lost Shadow).

Next, I die cut all the parts for the cabinet, stove, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories. The cardstock colors I used are Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Grape Jelly, Boysenberry, Smooth White, Kraft, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray and Black Licorice. The metallic parts were cut from Brushed Silver Card Stock.

I stamped the little cat in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink to the right side of the cat which I popped up with foam tape. I added an enamel heart to finish off the card.

Happy Monday everyone,

today we're introducing the My Favorite Things What's Cookin' Card Kit that will be available tomorrow at 10 am EST.

There will be 6! die sets released that you can mix and match to create the kitchen of your dreams ;-)

This is what my preview card looks like:

MFT Stamps • November Release Spotlight Day 4

18.11.2023

Hi peeps,

we've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things November Release Spotlight. Please check out the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

On today's square card, I'm highlighting the cute Winter Kittens stamps set which is perfect to create playful scenes with.

First, I cut and scored a 4.5" x 4.5" card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down one of the plaid papers from the Orange Sherbet Paper Pad to be slightly smaller. To be able to have separate little scenes, I picked the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics and cut three of them from white cardstock. I applied Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the bottom using a light hand.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and assembled the scenes by adhering the images with liquid glue.

we're continuing to review the awesome new products of the My Favorite Things November Release. I invite you to visit the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

Today I'm sharing another winter card which I made with the adorable YUZU North Pole Pals stamp set.

For the snowy hill, I used one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the top half. The sentiment was stamped in Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I stamped the polar bear along with two of the cute penguins in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images which I adhered to the snow hill. Finally, I die cut three of the Stylish Snowflakes from white cardstock to decorate the card.

MFT Stamps • November Release Spotlight Day 1

15.11.2023

Hello everyone,

today we're shining a spotlight on the winter themed My Favorite Things November Release that went live yesterday.

Look at these adorable cuties from the JB Snow Happy stamp set! In the background I used the Heavy Snowfall Stencil.

First, I created a top-folding card base from Tropical Teal Card Stock which is slightly bigger than A2. Onto a white cardstock panel I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio). When the background was completely dry, I went over it with the stencil and white pigment ink for a subtle look. For the snowy hill, I used one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and applied Salvaged Patina Ink to the top edge.

Next, I stamped the snowmen as well as the gorgeous tree in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. The sentiment was stamped onto a Ripe Raspberry Card Stock rectangle with VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it in white. Finally, I assembled the card by adhering the images, snow hill and sentiment using liquid glue.

I created a fun winter scene with the new Merry Moose stamp set and the playful In the Loop Background.

MFT Stamps • November Release Product Preview

13.11.2023

Happy new week everyone,

today we're previewing the new My Favorite Things November Release that will be available tomorrow at 10 am EST.

For my first winter themed card, I chose the adorable JB Yeti or Not stamps. These yetis are beyond cute and so much fun!

I started off with a white card base measuring standard A2. For the shimmery background I used Distress Mica Stains on a Distress Watercolor Cardstock panel. I like how it turned out because it almost looks like northern lights.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, did some Copic coloring and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered the yetis and snowy scene at the bottom half of the background. Now I stamped one of the versatile Something for Everything sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Tropical Teal Card Stock and heat embossed it in white. I cut it out with the matching die and attached it to the card.

MFT Stamps • November Vault Release Spotlight

08.11.2023

Hi everyone,

we're shining a spotlight on the My Favorite Things November Vault Release that went live yesterday! I invite you to visit the MFT Blog for today's DT inspiration.

Today I have a winter themed card for you featuring the beautiful Stylish Snowflakes Die-namics.

I started off with a white card base slighty bigger than standard A2. For the colorful backgound, I used several Distress Mica Stain Sprays on a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I added spatters with a small brush and used the largest of the of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to cut out the panel.

Next, I die cut the snowflakes from white cardstock with the help of a metal shim as they are very intricate. I adhered them to the background leaving the right bottom empty. There I stamped one of the Snowfall of Blessings sentiments in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.

Finally, I trimmed off the overhanging snowflakes and adhered the panel to the card base.

04.11.2023

Hi lovelies,

For today's project, I combined one of the santas from the Nicest on the List stamp set with the Money Tag Die-namics and the Money Tag Gift Card Pocket Die-namics.

First, I die cut the tag base and gift card pocket from two blue papers from the Colorful Christmas Text Paper Pad. The topper was done in Cornflower Card Stock and I die cut the reinforcer from Red Hot Card Stock. I attached the pocket to the tag with double-sided adhesive and inserted the gift card.

Next, I stamped the santa in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored him with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image. I did some paper piecing for the gift which I stamped onto a piece of black and white striped paper.

The fun sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I popped up santa and the sentiment with thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • October Release Spotlight Day 1

01.11.2023

Hello everyone,

the festive My Favorite Things October Release hit the store yesterday. In the next few days we will review the new products and share some inspiration along the way.

For today's card I picked the cute JB Gno Ho Ho stamps – I just adore gnomes! There's also the gorgeous JB Gnome Home Die-namics set which go perfectly with the images.

I started off with a landscape A2 card base and covered the front with one of the beautiful Holiday Plaid Papers. On a white cardstock panel I did an ink blended background with matching Distress Oxides (Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron). I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink  in the top right corner.

The gnome house and string lights were die cut from white and colored cardstock. I added a bit of shading with Copics and Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink. For some extra shine, I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the light bulbs.

Next, I stamped the gnomes in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images which I adhered with foam tape in front of the gnome house.
