MFT Stamps • October Jenoblade Release Day

03.10.2023

Hi lovely friends,

I'm so happy that My Favorite Things is having another Special Jenoblade Release this month. And the best is that all the new products are already available now!

I created a colorful Fall scene with the adorable JB Treehouse Hugs stamp set, JB Treehouse Die-namics, JB Treetop Die-namics as well as the Fun Fall Color Blends Paper Pad.

First, I created an A2 card base. The papers with the gorgeous blends in autumn hues are so easy to work with! I picked several blends and used them for the background, the treetops and the grass. The other parts of the tree and the small accessories were die cut from colored cardstock (Kraft, Milk Chocolate, Tropical Teal, Cement Grey, Jalapeño Popper, Wild Cherry and Smooth White). I also added some shading with Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Finally, I assembled the scene by adhering all the die cuts with liquid glue and thin foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Make sure to visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again tomorrow!

MFT Stamps • September Release Day

19.09.2023

Hi crafty friends,

the My Favorite Things September Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's inspiring DT projects.

I just love creating Fall cards! For today's simple Friendship card, I used the adorable JB Corn Maze Cuties stamp set.

First, I created an A2 landscape card base from white cardstock. I masked off the ground and blended on a sky with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink. For a bit of texture, I added ink spatters with a small paint brush. After carefully removing the mask, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images which I adherd with thin foam squares.

Happy Monday everyone,

Fall is almost here! Today we're starting the previews for the My Favorite Things September Release. Please hop over to the MFT Blog to explore all the new products that will be available tomorrow at 10 am EDT.

On my first card, I combined the sweet Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed stamp set and the Grassy Edges Die-namics to create a delightful Fall scene.

I started off with a white A2 card base and a Smooth Bristol Cardstock panel in the same size. At the top half I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey, Dried Marigold) letting the colors fade into white. For the grassy hills, I used Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and assembled the scene. Finally, I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

MFT Stamps • Wednesday Sketch Challenge 612

21.09.2022

Hello friends,

today I'm back again with a card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #612. I used the sweet Helping Hands stamp set and the Joyful Plaid Paper Pad from the latest September Release.

And here is this week's sketch:

I started off by covering the front of the card base with one of the gorgeous plaid patterned papers. Then I created two scenes for the circle elements. I die cut two stitched circles and did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Scattered Straw and Shabby Shutters).

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I assembled the scene by adhering the images with liquid glue and foam squares.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Gravel Gray Card Stock strip and I heat embossed it in white. Finally, I attached it to the center of the card.

Join the challenge with your project following the sketch for the chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.

MFT Stamps • September Release Day

13.09.2022

Hi everyone,

the fabulous My Favorite Things September Release is now available for purchase! Please head over to the MFT Blog for another round of inspiring DT projects.

I created this card in warm fall colors using the Crosshatch Die-namics and the Thanks Die-namics.

First, I made an A2 card base from Amarena Cherry Card Stock. For the background, I had to step out of my comfort zone working with Distress Oxide Sprays which are more difficult to control than what I usually use for ink blending. The colors I picked are Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Dusty Concord. I also added random golden paint splatters with a brush. I used the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to cut out the panel and adhered it to the card base.

Next, I die cut the crosshatch from white cardstock and carefully applied Finetec Coliro Pearlcolor in Moon Gold. The delicate 'thanks' was die cut twice from red cardstock to make it more sturdy as it is quite delicate. I added a piece of vellum behind it for more legibility.

I stamped the leaves image from the DBD Pretty Poinsettias set and the sub-sentiment (included in the Punny Farm stamp set) in VersaMark Ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed both with gold embossing powder.

MFT Stamps • September Release Countdown Day 3

10.09.2022

Hello everyone,

we're halfway through the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown and today we have a couple more Fall themed products for you.

I made a Mini Slimline card with the Cozy Days with You stamp set that features cute critters, autumn leaves and large pumpkins. I also used the Tree Stumps Die-namics which are this month's Free with $60 option.

First, I started off with a white card base measuring 6" x 3". For the sky, I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Uncharted Mariner, Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass. I also added little ink splatters with a brush. The grass was done with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink. I used one of the new Grassy Terrain Die-namics to cut the grass border. To add the stitching details around the edges, I die cut the background and grass with the Mini Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I adhered both pieces to the card base.

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I love how the critters can be placed on top of the pumpkins or tree stumps. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and I white heat embossed it. Finally, I assembled the scene and adhered the images as well as the sentiment strip.

MFT Stamps • August Release Countdown Day 4

12.08.2022

Hi friends,

it's Day 2 of the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown and today we're featuring a couple of gorgeous fall themed products.

I made a Clean and Simple card with the new Pure Innocence Apple of My Eye stamp set. I also used a strip of patterned paper from the previously released DBD Wildflowers Paper Pad.

First, I adhered the pretty floral paper strip to the left side of my white A2 card base. Then I trimmed down a white cardstock panel and created an ink blended background with Distress Oxides (sky: Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina; ground: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn).

Next, I stamped the girl and colored her with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and adhered it to the card.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Fall Friends

23.09.2021

Hello everyone,

we're slowly heading into fall as the leaves change their colors and the temperatures get cooler. With today's card I'm highlighting the adorable Fall Friends Stamps which are perfect to build scenes by using all the fun accessories.

I started off with an A2 card base made from Kraft cardstock. For the sunset background, I did some ink blending on smooth Bristol cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks (Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmelade, Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple). I added gold paint splatters with a small brush.

Next, I cut two grass pieces using the borders included in the Slimline Nature Borders Dies and Picket Fence set. The Distress Oxide colors I used for them are Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. And again, I added ink splatters for a little bit of interest. When everything was completely dry, I ran all ink blended pieces through my die cutting machine with the stitched rectangle die from the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Dies set. Then I layered them on top of each other.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a red cardstock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I assembled my card and adhered all the elements with liquid glue.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Crisp Autumn

16.09.2021

Hi everyone,

today's colorful card features the Crisp Autumn Stamps and a special die cutting technique.

The bright color scheme was inspired by the beautiful Sweater Weather 6x6 Papers. This means, I added aqua, pink and blue to the traditional fall colors. I created an A2 card base from white cardstock and cut out the blue leafy paper with a slightly smaller rectangle die.

I stamped all layers of the leaves and pumpkins with dye inks (you can find the ink colors below) and the help of a stamp positioning tool. I cut them out with the coordinating dies

Next, I did the "Die cuts within larger die" technique. Therefore, I arranged the die cuts on a circle and put a piece of masking paper on top to keep everything in place. Then I run it through my die-cutting machine with a regular circle die. I flipped it over and added foam tape to the back of the die cuts. I adhered it to a white cardstock cirle before carefully removing the masking paper. I trimmed off a bit from the right side and lined it up with the patterned paper.

The scripty sentiment was stamped in dark blue, cut out with the matching die and I adhered it using liquid glue. Finally, I added three White Diamond Jewels to embellish the card.

Altenew Dye Inks used:
Orange pumpkins: Sunkissed, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze
Green pumpkins: Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, Just Green
Pumpkin stems: Forest Glades, Evergreen
Yellow leaves: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee
Green leaves: Bamboo, Parrot, Olive
Pink leaves: Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry
Aqua leaves: Mountain Mist,Volcano Lake, Lagoon, Emerald
Sentiment: Sapphire

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a happy day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Fall/Winter Release • Bountiful Autumn

01.10.2020

Hello everyone,

it has cooled down quite a bit and fall is approaching. Today I'm sharing a card made with the Bountiful Autumn Stamps.

I started off with a Kraft card base and picked four colors of cardstock to create a striped background. I cut several strips (1 inch and 1/2 inch wide) from each color and adhered them at an angle to a piece of copy paper. I trimmed off the excess and die cut the panel with the stitched rectangle die included in the Frilly Frames Retro Petal Dies set.

I stamped the turkey, fruits, vegetables and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

Next, I die cut a circle from heavyweight vellum and stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder which is perfect for fall. I arranged all the images at the bottom half of the vellum circle and adhered them with liquid glue. I also hid some adhesive behind the vellum. Finally, I added three glitter enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a gorgeous day!

17.09.2020

Hello everyone,

today I'm back with another colorful fall card using the sweet Harvest Mice Stamps. I think this cute set is a must-have!

The gorgeous paper which I cropped on the right side and used as my background is from the Colorful Autumn Papers pack. I built my little scene inside of the circle by combining the mouse with the wagon and small accessories.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. To cut everything out, I used the coordinating dies. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink above the images which I adhered with liquid glue and foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge September

12.09.2020

Hi peeps,

I'm a bit late with sharing my card for the current Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme In the forest.

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I had so much fun mixing and matching several Lawn Fawn products to create this fun fall card.

The three stamp sets I used are "Butterfly Kisses" (fox and bear), "Jump For Joy" (hedgehog, fall leaves, sentiment) and "Yay, Kites" (kite). I cut the "Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Die" from brown cardstock.

For the background, I blended together the Distress Oxides Pine Needles, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass. I added lots of small ink splatters with a paint brush.

I stamped my images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. The grass was done with Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage and Pine Needles. I used one of the Hello Bluebird "Grassy Knoll" dies to create the grass border.

Finally, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto a black cardstock strip and assembled my card by adhering everything with liquid glue and foam tape.

You will have time until September 30th, 2020 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Fall/Winter Release • Farm Fresh

10.09.2020

Hi everyone,

today I'm sharing a fall themed card that features the adorable Farm Fresh Stamps. One of my favorite images from this set is the cute scarecrow. I combined him with some beautiful Colorful Autumn Papers as well as a couple of accessory stamps from the Bountiful Autumn and the Harvest Mice stamp set.

First, I trimmed the orange leafy patterned paper with the stitched rectangle die included in the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies set. I used one of the Slimline Basic Border Dies to add scalloped borders to the top and bottom of the green cardstock mat which I adhered behind the striped patterned paper.

Next, I created an ink blended background with Distress Oxides (Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon) that I die cut with the second largest Stitched Semi-Circle Die. I also cut out a slightly bigger berry cardstock mat with a circle die and trimmed off the bottom to make it match.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies (Farm Fresh Dies, Bountiful Autumn Dies, Harvest Mice Dies) to cut everything out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Finally, I assembled my card and added three Iridescent Pearls as well as tiny dots of Platinum Stickles.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Fall/Winter Release • Slimline Dies

27.08.2020

Hello everyone,

I'm so happy to share my first project using some of the brand new Sunny Studio Fall and Winter Release products.

Today I'm featuring the new line of slimeline dies. I picked the Slimline Scalloped Frame die and one of the Slimline Nature Borders Dies.

First, I die cut the pretty scalloped frame from Kraft cardstock and adhered it to a white top-folding card base that measures 8 11/16" x 3 5/8". To create a little scene, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides on Bristol cardstock. For the sunset sky, I used Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin and Ripe Persimmon. The curved grassy border was ink blended with Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn.

Next, I stamped the images from the sweet Harvest Mice set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The solid cornstalk images were stamped in Hero Arts Lime to Forever Green Ombré Ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out and assembled my card using liquid glue.

Finally, I stamped the birthday sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock banner and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I had so much fun creating this cute harvest scene!

Hello Bluebird • September Release • Team Share Day 4

20.09.2019

Hello everyone,

it's the final day of the Hello Bluebird September Release Team Share and I'm highlighting the Fall Banner Buddies set.

I love this beautiful autumn wreath which I heat embossed with gold embossing powder on a piece of Bristol cardstock. I also stamped the adorable squirrel in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The embossing helps with staying inside the lines when doing watercoloring. I used the Altenew watercolors which are so vibrant and creamy.

I cut out the images with the coordinating dies. In addition, I die cut two more wreaths from cardstock for more sturdiness and height. I adhered a piece of brown cardstock, which I had stamped with the Old Oak Background, behind the wreath.

Next, I gold heat embossed one of the Banner Blessings sentiments and added golden splatters with a paint brush all over the panel.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you love this amazing release as much as I do!

Hello Bluebird • September Release • Team Share Day 1

17.09.2019

Hi everyone,

last Friday the Hello Bluebird September Release went live. It is jam-packed with the cutest Fall and Halloween stamp and dies! The design team will post inspiration projects for the next few days.

On day 1 of the team share I combined the Leaf Play and Pumpkin Time stamps to build this fall scene with the most adorable woodland critters.

First, I did some ink blending with my beloved Distress Oxide Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough) to create the background. When it was completely dry, I added ink splatters with a paint brush. Next, I white heat embossed the sentiment.

I stamped the images (I especially love the mole and the hedgehog) and colored them with Copics. I wanted to create a fun little party in the woods where the critters are dancing and enjoy the falling leaves. Finally, I randomly added a couple of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow for more inspiration :-)
