MFT Stamps • November Release Countdown Day 3

05.11.2022

Hello peeps,

we are halfway through the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown. There are even more winter themed products to be explored.

Today, I'm sharing a CAS card made with the new Pure Innocence Snow Bunny stamp set and the Herringbone Stencil.

First, I started off with a white A2 card base and ink blended a faded oval background with the new stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers).

Next, I stamped the girl in her cute ski outfit in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and did some Copic coloring. I cut the image out with the matching die and adhered her with foam squares over the stenciled background.

I stamped part of the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto two Gravel Gray Card Stock strips and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I thought it would be fun to replace the last word of the sentiment with die cut letters. I used the MSTN Stay Cool Die-namics and cut each letter of the word 'cool' from a cardstock color that matches the image. I also die cut it from white cardstock and stacked up the letters for a bit of dimension. Finally, I adhered everything with liquid glue above the image.

MFT Stamps • September Release Countdown Day 4

09.09.2022

Hi peeps,

on Day 2 of the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown we're showcasing more Christmas products. It's never too early to start the holiday crafting ;-)

I created a Clean and Simple card with the new Pure Innocence Christmas Sweetheart stamp set. I went with a traditional red/green color combo and picked a matching piece of patterned paper from the Joyful Plaid Paper Pad.

First, I did some faded ink blending in the background of my white A2 card using Distress Oxides (Saltwater Taffy and Tattered Rose). I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink to the right side and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I adhered the plaid paper to the bottom of the card and added a thin strip of Gravel Gray Card Stock above it to create a ground for the santa girl to stand on.

Next, I stamped the girl and two gift boxes in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Finally, I adhered them with liquid glue and foam squares.

Make sure to check the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again tomorrow!

MFT Stamps • August Release Countdown Day 4

12.08.2022

Hi friends,

it's Day 2 of the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown and today we're featuring a couple of gorgeous fall themed products.

I made a Clean and Simple card with the new Pure Innocence Apple of My Eye stamp set. I also used a strip of patterned paper from the previously released DBD Wildflowers Paper Pad.

First, I adhered the pretty floral paper strip to the left side of my white A2 card base. Then I trimmed down a white cardstock panel and created an ink blended background with Distress Oxides (sky: Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina; ground: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn).

Next, I stamped the girl and colored her with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and adhered it to the card.

MFT Stamps • Color Challenge 194

28.07.2022

Hi everyone,

today starts a new MFT Color Challenge. I invite you to join the bi-weekly challenge with a project for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Stamps Boutique.

These are the colors for the Color Challenge #194:

I created this CAS birthday card using the Pure Innocence stamp set from the July Release which is called Happy Birthday To The Sweetest Girl.

First, I created an A2 card base from Gravel Gray Card Stock. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I partly stamped the Typewriter Text Background with Limelight Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I stamped the girl and colored her with Copic Markers. I used the matching die to cut out the image and adhered her with foam tape.

The birthday sentiment is included in the Let The Good Times Roll set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of Cotton Candy Card Stock. I heat embossed it in white and cut it out with a banner die from the Blueprints #27 Die-namics set.

MFT Stamps • April Release Countdown Day 1

11.04.2022

Hi peeps,

the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown wraps up today and we're sharing the last product previews.

My card features the sweet Pure Innocence girl from the new I Need Some Me & You Time stamp set. I paired this cutie with some patterned papers from the Festive Celebrations Paper Pad as well as a couple of die-cuts.

First, I started off with an A2 card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock. I die cut the polka dot paper with the largest of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I chose the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics as another design element and cut it from the blue striped paper.

Next, I colored the girl with Copics and added dots to her sleep mask with a white gelly roll pen. I used the coordinating die to cut her out and adhered her to the right side of the tag. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto two Gravel Gray Card Stock strips and I heat embossed it in white.

For a bit of dimension I adhered the tag, the sentiment strips and the pink heart (Blueprint 27 Die-namics) with foam mounting tape. I finished the card off with two little white stars.
