MFT Stamps • July Vault Release Spotlight Day 2

20.07.2023

Hi friends,

welcome to another day of reviews for the July My Favorite Things Vault Release. Make sure to visit the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

On today's card I combined the Watercolor Flowers layering stamps, the Inside & Out Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics and the Twice the Wishes sentiment set.

I started off with a regular sized A2 card base made from Tropical Teal Card Stock. I trimmed down a Sno Cone Card Stock panel to be slightly smaller and cut out the largest of the stitched ovals.

On a piece of Smooth White Card Stock, I stamped the flowers, stamps and leave using Premium Dye Inks (Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Sour Apple, Jalapeño Popper) and VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I took the same oval die to cut it out and inlaid it into the Sno Cone window.

The sentiment was stamped on a Vellum strip with VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it in white. I wrapped the strip around the sides of the Sno Cone Card Stock panel and adhered everything to the card base. To finish off the card, I added three matching rhinestones.

17.07.2023

Hello sweeties,

we're cracking open the My Favorite Things Vault! All the re-released products will be available tomorrow, July 18th at 10 am EDT.

I created a pretty birthday card with the Flashy Florals stamp set and one of the Gumball Greetings.

I started off with a card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock and trimmed down a white cardstock panel to be slightly smaller. I blended on Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and added spatters with a small paint brush.

Next, I stamped the flowers and leaves with Premium Dye Inks (Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, Boysenberry, Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Limelight, Sour Apple, Field Day). I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out and created an arrangement at the bottom half of the card. Finally, I stamped the birthday sentiment in Tropical Teal.

MFT Stamps • July Release Review Day 4

15.07.2023

Happy weekend everyone,

We've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things July Release Review where I'm sharing another birthday card.

The Wish Big Today Die-namics are just perfect for a quick and bold background.

First, I cut and scored a white A2 card base. I trimmed down another white cardstock panel to the same size and die cut the big letters from it. I adhered a piece of striped paper from the Feelin' Festive Paper Pad behind the negative die-cut that I popped up with foam tape.

To add a little cuteness to my CAS card, I used the JB Happy Birthday to My Favorite Gnomie set again. I stamped the gnome and frog in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

MFT Stamps • July Release Review Day 3

14.07.2023

Hi peeps,

Day 3 of the My Favorite Things July Release Review is about to get extra sweet!

Today's birthday card features the Cotton Candy Critters stamp set by Stacey Yacula.

I started off with a white card base slightly bigger than A2 and trimmed down another white cardstock panel. To create some kind of window, I used the mask from the Watercolor Square Stencil. I ink blended a pastel background around it with Distress Oxide Inks (Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender, Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac). I splattered on some water droplets and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the images as well as an enamel heart.

MFT Stamps • July Release Review Day 2

13.07.2023

Hello friends,

on the 2nd day of the My Favorite Things July Release Review we're showcasing more of the new products.

On today's card, I combined the Plane and Simple Die-namics with the matching Plane and Simple Sentiments stamps and the Watercolor Rectangle Stencil.

First, I created a landscape A2 card base from white cardstock. I centered the stencil and secured it with washi tape. Then I ink blended a soft sky with Distress Oxide Inks (top: Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass; bottom: Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold) leaving a small white gap in-between the top and bottom colors.

Next, I die cut all the pieces for the plane (Smooth White, Cement Gray, Grout Gray, Ripe Raspberry, Tropical Teal, Sno Cone+Vellum, Brushed Silver) and banner (Sno Cone, Summer Splash). I assembled the plane and added a bit of shading to the wing and the banner using Copic Markers.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto the banner and heat embossed it in white. Finally, I adhered the plane and banner to the card and added a small pink heart die-cut.

MFT Stamps • July Release Review Day 1

12.07.2023

Hi peeps,

have you already shopped the amazing new My Favorite Things July Release? Don't forget to use the code HAPPY17 to save 17% sitewide (even the new release).

For the first of four Release Review days I just had to use the third debut stamp set by our brand new illustrator Jenny – the JB Carnival Critters are so much fun!

This time, I created a square birthday card. The light aqua card base was cut and scored from Sno Cone Card Stock and measures 4 5/8" x 4 5/8". I trimmed down a white cardstock panel to 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For a bit of a transition, I blended on green Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron) at the bottom half of the white cardstock panel. I adhered the carnival scene directly over the ink blending and popped up the other images with foam squares. Finally, I stamped the birthday sentiment at the top right.

MFT Stamps • July Release Day

11.07.2023

Hello everyone,

the My Favorite Things July Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's inspiring DT projects.

I created a CAS birthday card with the JB Hang Out and Celebrate stamp set and the Watercolor Circle Stencil.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. I also die cut another white cardstock panel with the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I placed the stencil on top and applied Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender) through it. While the stencil was still fixed to the panel, I added splatters with a paint brush.

Next, I stamped the adorable sloth and butterflies in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut out the images with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the stenciled circle with foam squares.

Finally, I stamped the birthday sentiment in-between the two butterflies using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

MFT Stamps • July Release Product Preview

10.07.2023

Hi sweet friends,

we're shaking things up for the My Favorite Things July Release. Today the new products will be previewed and you can already purchase them tomorrow at 10 am EDT. Please visit the MFT Blog for all the details.

And there are even more exciting news! Jenny is joining the MFT Family with her exclusive stamp line called Jenoblade. On my first card, I have used one of her three debut stamp sets – JB Happy Birthday to My Favorite Gnomie.

I started off with a white A2 card base in landscape orientation and covered it with a colorful striped paper from the Sweet Celebration 6x6 Paper Pad. I used the stitched window panel from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set and cut it from Tropical Teal Card Stock. I backed it with a piece of dotted paper and adhered the frame to the card.

Next, I stamped the three cute gnomes in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The birthday sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Ripe Raspberry Card Stock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and used a fishtail banner die to cut it out. For a bit of dimension, I popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape.
