MFT Stamps • November Release Spotlight Day 4

18.11.2023

Hi peeps,

we've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things November Release Spotlight. Please check out the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

On today's square card, I'm highlighting the cute Winter Kittens stamps set which is perfect to create playful scenes with.

First, I cut and scored a 4.5" x 4.5" card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down one of the plaid papers from the Orange Sherbet Paper Pad to be slightly smaller. To be able to have separate little scenes, I picked the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics and cut three of them from white cardstock. I applied Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the bottom using a light hand.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and assembled the scenes by adhering the images with liquid glue.

MFT Stamps • November Release Spotlight Day 3

17.11.2023

Hello everyone,

it's Day 3 of the My Favorite Things November Release Spotlight and we're still sharing some winter inspiration with the new products.

On today's card I combined the SY WarmWinter Hugs stamp set with the Fanciful Frame STAX Die-namics.

I started off with a white A2 card base and cut a Sno Cone Card Stock panel with the largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics set.

Next, I created an one-layer-scene with the help of masking. The images were stamped in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored with Copic markers. For the sky, I did some faded blending with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. I cut out the scene with the largest Fanciful Frame die. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and added a small red heart next to it.

Make sure to visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

16.11.2023

Hi crafty friends,

we're continuing to review the awesome new products of the My Favorite Things November Release. I invite you to visit the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

Today I'm sharing another winter card which I made with the adorable YUZU North Pole Pals stamp set.

I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down another panel to the same size. I decided to do a gradient ink blended purple sky with Distress Oxides (Villainous Potion, Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender). To create some falling snow, I spattered on white paint with a brush. For the snowy hill, I used one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the top half. The sentiment was stamped in Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I stamped the polar bear along with two of the cute penguins in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images which I adhered to the snow hill. Finally, I die cut three of the Stylish Snowflakes from white cardstock to decorate the card.

MFT Stamps • November Release Day

14.11.2023

Hi sweet friends,

the My Favorite Things November Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's inspiring DT projects.

I created a fun winter scene with the new Merry Moose stamp set and the playful In the Loop Background.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. Onto a slightly smaller Kraft Card Stock panel, I stamped the loopy background with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it in white. I die cut the largest of the Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics from white cardstock and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides. At the top, I softly applied Tattered Rose and let it fade into white. For the snow hill I used Tumbled Glass and the Drifts & Hills Stencil.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto a Sno Cone Card Stock strip. I colored the thin dark red strip and small heart die-cut with a Copic marker to match the skiing moose. Finally, I assembled the card by adhering the scene, images and sentiment.

MFT Stamps • November Release Product Preview

13.11.2023

Happy new week everyone,

today we're previewing the new My Favorite Things November Release that will be available tomorrow at 10 am EST.

For my first winter themed card, I chose the adorable JB Yeti or Not stamps. These yetis are beyond cute and so much fun!

I started off with a white card base measuring standard A2. For the shimmery background I used Distress Mica Stains on a Distress Watercolor Cardstock panel. I like how it turned out because it almost looks like northern lights.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, did some Copic coloring and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered the yetis and snowy scene at the bottom half of the background. Now I stamped one of the versatile Something for Everything sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Tropical Teal Card Stock and heat embossed it in white. I cut it out with the matching die and attached it to the card.

Make sure to visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again tomorrow!

MFT Stamps • November Vault Release Spotlight

08.11.2023

Hi everyone,

we're shining a spotlight on the My Favorite Things November Vault Release that went live yesterday! I invite you to visit the MFT Blog for today's DT inspiration.

Today I have a winter themed card for you featuring the beautiful Stylish Snowflakes Die-namics.

I started off with a white card base slighty bigger than standard A2. For the colorful backgound, I used several Distress Mica Stain Sprays on a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I added spatters with a small brush and used the largest of the of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to cut out the panel.

Next, I die cut the snowflakes from white cardstock with the help of a metal shim as they are very intricate. I adhered them to the background leaving the right bottom empty. There I stamped one of the Snowfall of Blessings sentiments in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.

Finally, I trimmed off the overhanging snowflakes and adhered the panel to the card base.

MFT Stamps • October Release Spotlight Day 2

02.11.2023

Hi peeps,

we're continuing the review of the new My Favorite Things October Release. On today's CAS spotlight card, I paired the YUZU Merry Moose stamp set with the Tiled Stars Stencil and the Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics.

First, I created a card base from white cardstock and trimmed down another panel to the same size. I used the second largest rounded arch die to cut a window from it. For the background, I first did a soft blend with Distress Oxides (Wilted Violet and Salvaged Patina) and then applied the same colors through the stencil.

Next, I stamped the moose and bird in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Boysenberry Card Stock strip and heat embossed in white. Finally, I popped up the window panel, the images and the sentiment strip with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • Wednesday Sketch Challenge 638

22.03.2023

Hi friends,

it's time again for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at the MFT Blog. Join the challenge with a new project following the sketch for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.

Although it's finally Spring and getting warmer, I created one last winter-themed card since I really wanted to use the adorable Beary Special stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller.

When I saw this week's sketch, I remembered the cards that I previously made with the Snowflake Flurry Background stamp. I happened to have two strips left and was glad I could use them for this card. The snowflakes were originally stamped in VersaMark Ink onto Sno Cone and Summer Splash Card Stock and heat embossed with Judikins Iridescent Embossing Powder. I adhered the strips to a white A2 card base.

Next, I stamped the sweet polar bears and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped, colored and die cut the snowbank from the Stacey Yacula Polar Opposites set.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Love Notes set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a thin Black Licorice Card Stock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered the strip as well as the images to the card.

Here is this week's sketch #638:

MFT Stamps • November Release Day

08.11.2022

Hello friends,

the My Favorite Things November Release is now available for purchase! Check out the MFT Blog to see another round of DT inspiration.

For today's card, I used the gorgeous Snowflake Flurry Background cling stamp again – I just love it! I combined it with the Coolest Friends stamps and the Stackable Snowflakes Die-namics.

First, I created an A2 card base from white cardstock and stamped the background in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Sno Cone Card Stock. I heat embossed it with Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder and trimmed the panel down to be a bit smaller (about 1/8" at each side) than A2.

Next, I stamped the adorable image of the penguin and snowman. I added the sentiment inside the sign they are holding and colored everything with Copics. To cut out the image, I used the coordinating die.

I die cut two of the snowflakes from white cardstock and adhered them to the center of the card. Finally, I popped up the colored image with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • November Release Countdown Day 1

07.11.2022

Happy new week everyone,

the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown wraps up today. We are happy to reveal the remaining products of this fun release which will be available tomorrow.

I made a winter themed birthday card with the cute critters from the Freezin' Season stamp set.

First, I created a snowy winter night sky by blending together Black Soot Distress Ink, Something Blue and Lazy Day Premium Dye Ink. I sprinkled on some water droplets to lift the color in a couple of spots. After dabbing it off with a paper towel, I added white paint splatters with a brush to mimic falling snow. For the snow hill, I used the wavy die included in the On the Move Slider Channels Die-namics set and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the edge.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. For dimension, I popped up the images with thin foam squares.

I stamped a long sentiment from the YUZU Eat Lots of Cake stamp set across the snow hill and heat embossed a second one in white onto a black cardstock strip.

Make sure to check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

MFT Stamps • November Release Countdown Day 3

05.11.2022

Hello peeps,

we are halfway through the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown. There are even more winter themed products to be explored.

Today, I'm sharing a CAS card made with the new Pure Innocence Snow Bunny stamp set and the Herringbone Stencil.

First, I started off with a white A2 card base and ink blended a faded oval background with the new stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers).

Next, I stamped the girl in her cute ski outfit in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and did some Copic coloring. I cut the image out with the matching die and adhered her with foam squares over the stenciled background.

I stamped part of the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto two Gravel Gray Card Stock strips and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I thought it would be fun to replace the last word of the sentiment with die cut letters. I used the MSTN Stay Cool Die-namics and cut each letter of the word 'cool' from a cardstock color that matches the image. I also die cut it from white cardstock and stacked up the letters for a bit of dimension. Finally, I adhered everything with liquid glue above the image.

MFT Stamps • November Release Countdown Day 4

04.11.2022

Hi everyone,

it's Day 2 of the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown and we've got some fun winter themed products for you today.

I created this card with the adorable Alpine Friends set. I just love the cable car gondola with the cute critters inside ready to hit the slopes.

First, I cut and scored a card base from white cardstock. I softly applied Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Ink to the center of the card front with a blending brush.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. The trio of mountains is from the Top of the Mountain stamp set. The cable was directly stamped in black onto the card front. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

I created a snow hill with the help of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and inked the top edge with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment was stamped with teal ink in the center of the snow hill piece. Finally, I assembled the card by adhering everthing with liquid glue and thin foam squares (for the objects in the front).

MFT Stamps • November Release Countdown Day 5

03.11.2022

Hello friends,

today we are kicking off the My Favorite Things November Release Countdown. Join us in exploring all the cool stuff this month. The new products will be available on Tuesday, November 8th at 10 am EDT.

Winter is coming soon and like every year we're wishing for a white Christmas (which is pretty rare). At least, I can create it on my card ;-) I combined the Snowflake Flurry Background cling stamp with the Stackable Snowflakes Die-namics.

I started off with a white A2 top-folding card base. The beautiful background was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Summer Splash Card Stock panel. I heat embossed it with some Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder. You can't see it much on the photo but it is so pretty in real life! I trimmed it down to be a bit smaller than the card base.

Next, I die cut the large and middle snowflake from Sno Cone and white cardstock. I stacked them on top of each other using thin foam slivers for dimension.

I stamped one of the Mod & Merry sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a Tropical Teal Card Stock strip and heat embossed it in white. The sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape below the layered snowflake.

To finish off the card, I added a shiny iridescent bauble to the center of the white snowflake.

Make sure to check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a beautiful day!

MFT Stamps • September Release Countdown Day 5

08.09.2022

Hello everyone,

it's the first day of previews for the My Favorite Things September Release which is jam-packed with wonderful Fall and Christmas themed products. The new items will be available on Tuesday, September 13th at 10 am EDT.

For my first card, I used the adorable Christmas Tree Farm stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

First, I started off with an A2 landscape card base and trimmed down one of the pretty Joyful Plaid patterned papers to the same size. For the background of my little winter scene, I double-stamped the new Touch of Texture Background with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. I created a snow hill with the help of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and inked the top edge with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I ran through the subtle background and snow hill with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 1 Die-namics set and adhered both to a Kraft Card Stock mat.

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I adhered the images on top of the snow hill using liquid glue and thin foam squares. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip. I white heat embossed it and attached the strip above the critters which finishes today's card.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Snow One Like You

25.11.2021

Hi everyone,

today I have something special to share. I made a card with this year's Black Friday exclusive mini stamp set. It's called Snow One Like You and is part of the ongoing promo (find all details in the graphic below).

I decided to create a little winter scene for this sweet couple:

I started off with a white A2 top-folding card base. For the background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio) and let it fade into white at the bottom. I die cut a snow hill using one of the curved Slimline Nature Border Dies and added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the stitched edge. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the image as well as the birch trees (Bear Hugs) and the small hearts (Happy Hamsters) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. The images and snow hill were adhered with liquid glue and foam squares. Finally, I added a white cardstock frame which I cut with the help of a rectangle die. I again used foam tape to create dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Black Friday shopping!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Lacy Snowflake Dies

21.10.2021

Hello everyone,

today I'm sharing a shimmery winter card using the Lacy Snowflake Dies. They go perfectly with the snowflakes from the Snowflake Circle Frame Dies.

First, I started off with an A2 card base made from purple cardstock. Next, I created a watercolor background using Nuvo Shimmer Powders (Atlantis Burst and Blue Blitz) and Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet). I also added some shimmer spray to the whole background (see photo below).

To add some texture, I ran the dried background through my die cutting machine with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. I trimmed the panel down to be a bit smaller than A2 and adhered it to the card base.

The snowflakes were die cut from white glitter cardstock. I die cut a piece of vellum with the second largest of the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies. I stamped the scripty 'Happy New Year' sentiment from the Season's Greetings set in VersaMark Ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with some pretty WOW! Royal Crush Embossing Glitter. I used the coordinating word die to cut it out.

Finally, I assembled my card by scattering the snowflakes over the card. All the die-cuts are perfect to hide the adhesive behind the vellum semi-circle which I attached to the right side. I added some pearls and crystals as embellishments.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Fall/Winter Release • Winter Scenes

17.12.2020

Hi everyone,

today I'm sharing a pastel holiday card using the Winter Scenes set. I love the rows of fir trees and little houses so much!

First, I started with the background by blending together the Distress Oxide Inks Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose, letting the colors fade into white. I added lots of tiny ink splatters with a paint brush.

Next, I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. This time I decided to color the trees like they were covered with snow. I used the coordinating die to cut out the scene and layered it on top of my ink blended sky.

I kept the design simple and stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Inside Greetings Christmas set in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Finally, I adhered a matching small enamel heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a gorgeous day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Fall/Winter Release • Penguin Pals

05.11.2020

Hi everyone,

today I'm sharing a fun winter card made with the adorable Penguin Pals Stamps. Not only can these cuties be used for playful holiday cards but also for birthdays.

I decided to create a 5"x5" square card and did an ink blended background with Distress Oxides. The ink colors I used are Dried Marigold, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot. I let it dry completely and added lots of white paint splatters with a brush.

Next, I die cut two snow hills using the stitched border dies from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies set. I trimmed them down, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and layered them on top of each other.

To decorate my scene, I picked a fir tree and igloo (Winter Scene) as well as some gifts (North Pole and Gleeful Reindeer). I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. All the images were adhered with liquid adhesive. I finished off the card with an enamel heart that I put between the two bottom penguins.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
