Sunny Studio Stamps • Summer Release • Looking Sharp

29.04.2021

Hello everyone,

the new Looking Sharp stamp set features cacti and succulent plants which are even cuter with smiley faces and little accessoires. I created a birthday card with three of them.

I started off with a white A2 landscape card base and trimmed a piece of Bristol cardstock to be slightly smaller. For my warm sunset background, I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Crackling Campfire. I used one of the Winter Scenes Dies to create a ground for my plants to stand on. The earthy ink colors are Antique Linen, Gathered Twig and Walnut Stain. For some texture, I added ink splatters with a paint brush. When it was completely dry, I stamped the punny sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it in white.

I remembered the hanging light strings from the Scenic Route set and thought they were a great addition to my little birthday scene. All images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

Finally, I assembled my card by adhering the background and lights with liquid glue and popping up the ground and plant images with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Summer Release • Color My World

22.04.2021

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited! The new Sunny Studio Stamps Summer Release is jam-packed with lots of fun and cute products. My first project features the Color My World Stamps.

I created a CAS card using the crayons which I stamped in rainbow colors with dye inks (you can find the ink colors below). I also cut some skinny strips from matching patterned paper (Rainbow Bright Paper and Sleek Stripes Paper) and adhered them to a white A2 card base.

Next, I cut out the crayons with the coordinating die and lined them up on the right edge of the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Over The Rainbow set in VersaMark Ink onto a white cardstock strip and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I popped it up with foam tape and added Iridescent Jewels to finish off the card.

Altenew Dye Inks used
Purple: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet
Blue: Sea Breeze, Turquoise, Tide Blue, Starlight
Green: Bamboo, Parrot, Olive, Moss

Sunny Studio Stamps • Spring Release • Slimline Pennant Dies

08.04.2021

Hello everyone,

today I'm featuring the versatile Slimline Pennant Dies which can be used in many ways and of course they work with A2 standard size cards as well. I adore the Balloon Rides Stamps and added patterned papers to the background.

First, I cut out the diamonds pattern from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper pack with the stitched rectangle mat die included in the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies set and adhered it to my A2 top-folding card base.

The cloudy paper (Summer Splash Paper) was die cut with the second largest pennant. To create a reverse banner piece I additionally used one of the Fishtail Banner Dies and cut off the top from the green floral pennant (Spring Fling Paper).

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The sentiment from the Lovable Llama set was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and I heat embossed in white.

Finally, I assembled my card by adhering all elements with liquid glue and foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Spring Release • Lovable Llama

01.04.2021

Hi everyone,

I always need to create birthday cards for my stash! The Lovable Llama with its party hat and stack of gifts is just perfect for this occasion. I went with bright colors as well as black and white to make them pop even more.

I started off with a white card base and trimmed the black patterned paper (Heroic Halftones Paper) about 1/8 inch smaller. Next, I die cut the pierced scalloped border from the Slimline Pennants Dies set from aqua, yellow and pink cardstock. I layered the die-cuts on top of each other to build a colorful and decorative element.

I also cut the largest of the Scalloped Circle Mat 1 Dies from white cardstock and stamped the tiny confetti-like images in matching colors. The llama, hat and gifts were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images which I adhered with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Inside Greetings Birthday set in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed in white.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful rest of the week!
