Hello Bluebird • Frosty Flakes • Noel

26.12.2018

Good evening,

Merry Christmas sweeties! I hope you're spending a precious holiday time with your beloved ones!

Today I have a card for you with no stamping and coloring at all ;-) Instead I die cut these beautiful Frosty Flakes from white cardstock and arranged them all over an Alcohol Ink background.

The word «Noel» is from the Christmas Words Die #2 set.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #72

15.12.2018

Good morning everyone,

today starts the last challenge for this year over at the bastel-traum.ch blog. The new theme is «Shaker card/Special card shape».
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
This challenge will run until January 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

It's also the last challenge for me as a DT member because I decided to step down. Thank you Ute and Tom for having me! Best luck to you and the DT girls ♥

I created this elegant and feminine Christmas shaker card using the beautiful Hero Arts «Deer and Ornament Fancy Die».

For the yummy background, I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks «Tattered Rose», «Worn Lipstick» and «Picked Raspberry». I die cut the negative deers/leafy image from white cardstock and adhered a piece of acetate behind it. The sentiment from the Hello Bluebird «Rooftop Reindeer» set was heat embossed in gold.

To create my shaker, I popped up the die cut panel with foam tape. I filled in pretty sequins and seed beads in clear, gold and pink tones by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.

I'm entering the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme «Christmas».

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Bluebird • Merry Pigs • Falala

12.12.2018

Hello peeps,

the Christmas card production is still going strong although I will be late sending them out (like every year). Today I'm sharing this card that I made with the new Hello Bluebird  Merry Pigs set.

Colored this cutie with Copics and cut him out with the companion die. For my card design, I used the versatile Gallery Frame Die #2. I die cut the outside scalloped frame from woodgrain cardstock and the window frame from striped paper (My Favorite Things «Candy Land 6x6 Paper Pack»).

I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks «Tumbled Glass», «Broken China» and «Peacock Feathers» to create my sky background. The sentiments were white heat embossed onto strips of black cardstock. I also die cut the word «falala» (Christmas Words Die #1) from red glitter cardstock and a snow bank (Hill and Dale Die) from white glitter cardstock. Finally, I popped up the piggy image with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird • Skating Party • Have an ice day

07.12.2018

Hi everyone,

today, I'm back with a card using fun new products from the Hello Bluebird November Release. On my winter card I used the Skating Party set and the Skating Pond Scene Die.

For the background, I blended together blue Distress Inks and let it fade out toward the bottom of the panel. Next, I die cut the scene pieces from several cardstocks. It's so easy to put a scene like this together.

I love these adorable ice skating critters which I colored with Copics and cut out with the Skating Party companion dies. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the card and heat embossed it with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge December

05.12.2018

Good morning friends,

it's that time of year again where most of us are busy preparing for the holidays. I'm pleased with the new theme for the Stempelgarten Challenge because I need to create more cards – it's «Christmas».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

These cats from the Poppy Stamps «Purrfect Holidays» set are having a fun Christmas party! They just make me smile :-)

First, I heat embossed the My Favorite Things «Radiating Halftone Background». Then I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves).

Next, I did some masking to combine the santa's hat with the cat as well as the star and the christmas tree. I colored the images with my Copics and fussy cut them out with scissors. I gold heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and die cut both, the background and the strip, with one of the MFT «A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2» Die-namics.

You will have time until December 31st, 2018 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
