Hi peeps,
a couple of days ago, I interrupted my Holiday Card Making (I'm late like every year) to create this Non-Christmas card for the current Make it Crafty Clean and Simple Challenge. The theme for December is «Cut Out Colour Pop».
I chose the Butterfly Lily Digi Stamp and used the butterfly only (you receive the combo and also the single images with the download). I enlarged and mirrored the image before printing. Then I colored this beautiful butterfly with Copics and fussy cut it leaving a small white border.
For my «Cut Out Colour Pop» I created a circle window with the ingenious Avery Elle «Burst» die. I glued the striped purple paper behind the opening and popped up the
panel with foam tape and also adhered the butterfly at and angle. After that, I die-cut the Simon Says Stamp «Painted Hello» from black cardstock. I decorated my card with matching enamel dots from My Mind's Eye.
You still have time to enter this challenge by the end of the month. You can find all the details HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello eveyone,
it's the 15th again and the new theme for the bastel-traum.ch Challenge is «Winter».
The challenge will run until January 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
On my card I used the adorable «Penguins Greetings» set by Avery Elle. I rarely purchase the coordinating dies and often buy the stamps only. But in this case I love that you also receive this pretty «warm» word die that goes well with the sentiments.
I colored my cute penguin family with Copics and adhered a tiny red pearl to the reindeer's nose ;-) I masked off a hill and did some Ink Blending with Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks (Audrey Blue, Maliblue and Lavender). Then I created some snowflakes with the help of the SSS «Falling Snow» stencil and white pigment ink. After that I removed my mask and used the other part to cover/safe my background because I wanted to make a sparkly snow hill with lots of «Clear Rock Candy» Distress Glitter from Ranger.
I die-cut the word «warm» once from turquoise foil cardstock and also from white cardstock to make it more sturdy. Then I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock and cut a banner using sharp scissors. For a bit dimension I adhered the penguins and the banner with foam tape. Finally I added the silver star sequins to finish off my card.
I'm entering the AEI♥U Challenge #31 with the theme «Metallics»:
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again tomorrow!

Hi peeps,
I couldn't resist this adorable Birdie Brown «Merry Christmoose» stamp set from My Favorite Things. This moose is just the cutest and I created a cozy Christmas scene with the help of Masking and combined him with the tree and the carpet from the same set.
I added the little deer and the gifts from the «Jingle All the Way» set which is an older holiday favorite designed by Birdie Brown/Torico. I colored the scene with Copics and also used a white gel pen for some fun details like the dots on the mug. The deer's nose and the star on top of the tree were covered with Glossy Accents. I embellished the tree with several pearls from Doodlebug. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine «Onyx Black» – just the perfect ink for crisp and detailed impressions.

Good morning everyone,
today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge – of course this month's theme has to be «Christmas Time» ;-)
I decided to go with non-traditional colors for this Christmas card – Light Pink, Grey and Silver.
I did some Inlaid Die Cutting using the intricate «Snowflake Love Pendant» die from Memory Box. To add some sparkle I took silver glitter cardstock for the inlaid heart and all the tiny spaces. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things «Hand Lettered Holiday» stamp set and I heat embossed in silver. I embellished my card with pearls and rhinestones.
This challenge will run until December 31st, 2015 and you can win a voucher with a value of CHF 20.– for the Stempelgarten Online Shop.

Hi peeps,
today starts the December Pinterest Inspired Challenge. Because of the upcoming holidays it will run for 2 months (closes on Monday, 01/25/2016).
This is the fabulous inspiration photo:
And here is the card I created:
I was inspired by all the different colorful patterns and remembered a digi stamp I had in my folder. The image is called «African Woman» and I purchased it in the DigiStampAtelier Etsy Shop.
For the first time I colored dark skin with my Copics. You can't see it on the photo but I added some Glossy Accents to her lips. I cut the scalloped frame from black cardstock using a Mama Elephant die («Femme Frames»). The patterned paper is from the Glitz 6"x6" «Yours Truly» paper pack.
The sentiment is from the Papertrey Ink «Signature Greetings II» set and it was stamped in VersaFine «Onyx Black». I adhered everything to my white top folding card base and wrapped some May Arts Natural Jute String around it and tied a bow. I fussy cut the image leaving a white border and popped it up with foam tape.
Can't wait to see your creations – there will be prices for one lucky winner (gift certificate) and a randomly picked commenter (stamps set), too! For the challenge details and the inspiring work of my lovely team mates please hop over to the PIC blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
