MFT Stamps • January Vault Release Day

31.01.2023

Hi peeps,

the My Favorite Things Vault is open! You can now order your new favorites. Check out the MFT Blog for even more fab DT inspiration.

On today's project I tried to capture the vibe of summer with a refreshing lemonade presented on an oversized tag. I used the Mason Jar Mug Die-namics and the Blueprints 9 Die-namics.

First, I created a fun ink smooshed background with Distress Oxides (Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn). I also added splatters with a small brush. When everything was completely dry, I die cut it with the large tag shape. The little hole die and re-inforcer are included in the Blueprints set as well.

Next, I die cut the mason jar mug from white cardstock and added shading with Copics to make it look like glass. The lemonade part was cut from vellum and I colored the back in yellow. I die cut the straw from a piece of striped patterned paper (Feelin' Festive Paper Pad) and adhered it inside the mug.

For a bit of decoration, I die cut the citrus wedge and firefly from white and colored cardstock (Lemon Drop, Sno Cone, Kraft). I used the Mason Jar Labels stamp set for the sentiment. The solid label was stamped in Limelight Premium Dye Ink and then I white heat embossed the text.

Finally, I adhered the die-cuts to the tag with thin foam tape and attached a yellow ribbon to the top which I secured with a bow of green string.

MFT Stamps • January Vault Release • Countdown Day 1

30.01.2023

Hello everyone,

it's Countdown Day 1 to tomorrow's My Favorite Things January Vault Release. So happy they are bringing back some of the popular Blueprints Die-namics!

I created a cute Valentine's card using the Blueprints 30 Die-namics set which comes with a rounded frame that has a fun interactive flap.

I cut and scored a white card base slightly taller than A2 and covered the front with a dotted paper from the Feelin' Festive Paper Pad. The rounded frame was cut from the diagonal striped paper. I cut out a small slit on the right side and attached a Cotton Candy Card Stock closure to the flap.

Next, I decorated the flap and inside with the cute previously released YUZU Hunny Bunny stamps and the Label Maker sentiments. I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The label sentiments were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and I used the matching Label Tape Die-namics to cut them out. I stamped the inside sentiment onto a Summer Splash Card Stock strip. Finally, I adhered all the images and sentiments flat using liquid glue.

Here's a look at what's hidden behind the flap:

MFT Stamps • January Vault Release • Countdown Day 2

29.01.2023

Happy Sunday friends,

the My Favorite Things Vault cracks open again with some of your beloved favorites! All the re-released products will be available on Tuesday, January 31st at 10 am EST.

For my floral card, I combined the Mason Jar Die-namics with the Mason Jar Labels stamps and the Fresh-Cut Flowers Die-namics.

I started off with a white A2 card base and cut out another white cardstock panel with the full-size A2 stitched rectangle die included in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics set. For the background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Saltwater Taffy and Tattered Rose) starting at the top and letting the color fade out towards the bottom. To create some interest, I added splatters with a paint brush.

Next, I trimmed down a piece of Poppin' Polka Dot paper, cut it with the same stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the bottom of the ink blended panel. I think it looks like a pretty table cloth for my jar to stand on.

The mason jar was cut from vellum twice. I colored the back of one of the die-cuts with a light blue Copic marker to mimic some water. Then I stamped the punny sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Salvaged Patina Embossing Glaze. I sticked the vellum die-cuts together with the help of spray adhesive.

I die cut all the flowers and leafy stems from colored cardstock (Fire Coral, Red Hot, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal and Limelight) and arranged them into a bouquet inside the mason jar. I wrapped a natural string around the top of the jar and tied it into a bow. I carefully adhered everything to the card using thin foam tape.

MFT Stamps • January Release Day

17.01.2023

Hi there,

the wait is finally over! The My Favorite Things January Release is now available for purchase! Check out the MFT Blog to explore today's DT inspiration.

I have another love-themed card to share with you today featuring one of the cuties from the My Punny Valentine stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller.

I haven't done this in a while, so I created a subtle white-on-white background by repeatedly adhering die-cuts all over the panel. Therefore I used the X and O from the Love Icons Die-namics set. I stacked up two layers for each letter and alternately adhered them to my white card base.

Next, I stamped the image in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the bunny which I adhered to the left side of the card with thin foam squares.

I stamped the punny sentiment onto a Grapesicle Card Stock strip with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I cut the right end into a fishtail banner shape and tucked the sentiment strip underneath the image.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 1

16.01.2023

Happy Monday everyone,

the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown wraps up today. We are revealing the remaining products of this lovable release which will be available tomorrow.

I made a simple card using the We Make a Great Combo stamp set. Love the cute faces of these fun food items.

First, I created an A2 top-folding card base from white cardstock. I then die cut a Something Blue Card Stock panel with the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also used the Box of Chocolates Die-namics to cut out a heart window. I adhered the panel with thin foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The little heart trio is from the YUZU Hunny Bunny stamp set and I stamped it directly inside the heart.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment strip with foam squares.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 2

15.01.2023

Hello everyone,

only 2 more days until the My Favorite Things January Release goes live. Check out today's product reveals and lovely DT inspiration over on the MFT Blog.

I created a CAS card with the adorable Sweetheart stamp set illustrated by Tiddly Inks.

I started off with a white A2 card base and a panel in the same size. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Tattered Rose and Dried Marigold) to create an oval soft background. I added some pearly paint splatters with a small brush and let it dry completely. At the bottom, I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it in Silver. Then I adhered the panel to the card base with liquid glue.

Next, I stamped the image in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut the girl out and popped her up with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 3

14.01.2023

Hi peeps,

we are halfway to the My Favorite Things January Release Day and we have so many more lovable products to share.

Today, I'm featuring the cute YUZU Hunny Bunny stamp set and used the Cloud Stencil to create a soft background.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down another panel to be slightly smaller and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil covering the whole background with clouds.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto two Grapesicle Card Stock stripes and I did some heat embossing in white. To finish off the card, I adhered the images and sentiment strips with liquid glue.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 4

13.01.2023

Hello everyone,

it's Countdown Day 4 for the My Favorite Things January Release and today we've got some sweet Valentine's Day products to share.

What better than some yummy treats in a heart-shaped box embellished with a pretty bow, right? The Box of Chocolates Die-namics are the perfect Valentine!

I started off with an A2 sized card base made from Sno Cone Card Stock. I used the Lots of Heart Stencil along with Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink to create a subtle background that fades to the edges.

Next, I die cut the box, bow, chocolates, toppers and wrappers from the cardstock colors Princess Pink, Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Chantilly Cream and Milk Chocolate. To make the lid see-through, I die cut a heart from acetate. The paper heart behind the chocolates was stamped with the X's and O's Background.

I stamped one of the Sweet Nothings sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a Cotton Candy Card Stock strip which I adhered at the bottom of the card. The lid and box were attached at an opposite angle and overlap each other.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 5

12.01.2023

Hi crafty friends,

so excited to be back again as we are kicking off the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown. The new products will be available on Tuesday, January 17th at 10 am EST.

My first card for 2023 features the awesome Typewriter Die-namics as well as the Typewriter Sentiments: Friendship stamps. Of course I had to do the typewriter in my favorite color ;-)

First, I created a standard A2 sized card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down one of the Poppin' Polka Dot papers and adhered it to the card base.

Next, I die cut all the pieces for the typewriter (Card Stock colors used: Summer Splash, Cement Gray, Gravel Gray, Black Licorice, Smooth White) and assembled it. Before inserting the white paper, I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and added a tiny red heart from the Itty Bitty Love Notes set.

To complete my simple design, I also die cut the glasses (Creature Comfort Die-namics) and postage stamp (Paper Goods Die-namics). Finally, I adhered the die-cuts with liquid glue.

Please visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!
