MFT Stamps • Color Challenge 194

28.07.2022

Hi everyone,

today starts a new MFT Color Challenge. I invite you to join the bi-weekly challenge with a project for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Stamps Boutique.

These are the colors for the Color Challenge #194:

I created this CAS birthday card using the Pure Innocence stamp set from the July Release which is called Happy Birthday To The Sweetest Girl.

First, I created an A2 card base from Gravel Gray Card Stock. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the largest of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I partly stamped the Typewriter Text Background with Limelight Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I stamped the girl and colored her with Copic Markers. I used the matching die to cut out the image and adhered her with foam tape.

The birthday sentiment is included in the Let The Good Times Roll set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of Cotton Candy Card Stock. I heat embossed it in white and cut it out with a banner die from the Blueprints #27 Die-namics set.

MFT Stamps • July Vault Release • Countdown Day 2

17.07.2022

Hello friends,

The My Favorite Things birthday month continues with a festive Vault Release! All the products will be available on Tuesday, July 19th at 10 am EDT.

For my birthday card, I combined the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots Die-namics with the Essential Birthday Messages and Essential Speech Bubbles Die-namics.

I started off with a white A2 top folding card base. I cut the polka dots die from white as well as four colors of Prestige Card Stock (Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal and Ripe Razzleberry). I cut down the white negative panel and adhered it to the card base. Then I inlaid all the colorful dots back inside. This was so much fun!

Next, I stamped the three sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto black cardstock and did some heat embossing in white. I cut out the sentiments with the speech bubble dies and adhered them with foam tape.

I also used the Balloon Party set and stamped one of the solid ballons in pink Distress Oxide Inks (Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry). I cut out the ballon with the matching die and carefully fussy cut the string with scissors.

The little bear with the bow is from the Chill Friends stamp set which was part of the recent July Release. I did some Copic coloring and used the matching die to cut out this cutie. I adhered her as if she was holding the big pink balloon and added a grey shadow underneath (Oval Shadow Die-namics).

I masked off two rectangles and created the little scenes with Distress Oxide Inks (Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage) and the Scene Stencil - Rolling Hills, Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Grassy Edges Stencil.

Next, I stamped the images, did some Copic coloring and cut them out with the coordinating Joyful Giraffes Die-namics. MFT Stamps • July Release Day

12.07.2022

Hello everyone,

Woo-hoo! The fabulous new My Favorite Things July Release products are now available for purchase.

I made a colorful birthday card using the YUZU Eat Lots of Cake stamp set. The pretty floral patterned paper is from the DBD Wildflowers Paper Pad

I started off with a white A2 card base which I covered with a striped paper from the Cool Collab Paper Pad. I trimmed down the floral paper and adhered it on top.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. The heart balloon is from YUZU Purr-fect Birthday stamp set. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

I die cut a 3" circle with one of the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics from white and also from Tropical Teal cardstock. To create a ground for the images, I cut off the teal circle. Then, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto it and did some heat embossing in white.

I attached the images to the circle and adhered it to the card which I finished off with a decorative ribbon.

MFT Stamps • July Release Countdown Day 2

10.07.2022

Hi friends,

only 2 more sleeps until the My Favorite Things July Release goes live. Don't miss today's DT inspiration and product reveals over on the MFT Blog.

Who doesn't love some yummy ice cream on a hot summer day?! Today, I'm showcasing the MSTN Sweet Treats set which I paired with the Happy Swish Die-namics.

I picked a pastel color palette that reminds of ice cream flavors like Strawberry, Vanilla, Mint, Melon or Blueberry. The curved die-cuts have the perfect width to color them with the broad tip of alcohol markers like Copics. I adhered them at the bottom half of a white 4.75" x 3.5" cardstock panel.

The A2 card base was made from Chantilly Cream Card Stock. For a change, I stamped the images and sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating MSTN Sweet Treats Die-namics to cut them out.

Finally, I popped up the images and sentiment strip with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the giraffe in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copics. I cut it out with the matching die and adhered it to the right with foam tape.

MFT Stamps • July Release Countdown Day 4

08.07.2022

Hi peeps,

it's the second day of the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown and today we're featuring farm related products.

I created a scene combining the Farm-tastic Friends stamps with the Barn Sweet Barn Die-namics.

First, I masked off where the horizon would be and created a fading sunrise background using the Sunny Rays Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Saltwater Taffy). the grass was done with Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out with the matching Farm-tastic Friends Die-namics.

For the barn, I die cut the pieces from Prestige Card Stock (Red Hot, Gravel Gray and Smooth White). I added some shading with Copics and assembled the barn. Love how the doors open!

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock rectangle and I heat embossed it in white. I adhered the sentiment and images with foam tape (except of the fence in the back which I attached with liquid glue).

Hi friends,

today starts the countdown to the My Favorite Things July Release which is full of fun summer and birthday themed products. They will be available on Tuesday, July 12th at 10 am EDT.

For my first card, I used the adorable YUZU Purr-fect Birthday stamp set along with the Balloon Party Stencil.

I started off with a white cardstock panel and stenciled the balloons with Distress Oxide Inks (Kitsch Flamingo, Mowed Lawn, Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet) allowing some to overlap each other. I trimmed down the balloon background and adhered it to a white A2 card base.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating YUZU Purr-fect Birthday Die-namics to cut them out and adhered them with foam tape. For the flower bouquet behind the girl's back, I also stamped and colored images from the previously released Fairy Best Friend set.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the new-as-well YUZU Eat Lots of Cake set was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a Gravel Gray Card Stock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and popped up the strip with foam tape.

GD Sunny Studio Stamps • Kiddie Pool

02.07.2022

Hello everyone,

so happy to be back again guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps. This time I'm sharing two cards made with the Kiddie Pool Stamps from the Summer Release. I love how well these stamps work with other products!

For my first card, I created a colorful scene using the inflatable swimming pool along with two of the kids who are having some splashy summer fun in the garden.

First, I started off with ink blending the faded sky background onto a white A2 panel. I used Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. To create a bit of texture, I splattered on Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink as well as white gouache paint. When everything was completely dry, I stamped the big scripty word 'Summer' from the Radiant Plumeria stamp set in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with bright pink embossing powder. The sub sentiment was stamped underneath in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

I trimmed down a green dotted paper from the Heroic Halftones 6x6 Paper Pack. At the top, I used the grassy border from the Picket Fence Die set. I adhered the grass panel flat to the background.

Next, I picked a couple of summer accessories from the Beach Buddies (sun hat, beach bag, rolled towels and suncream) and the Beach Babies (beach ball) set. I stamped all the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhered everything with liquid glue and foam tape. To finish off the card, I added some water droplet images next to the girl which has been tucked into the water.

On my second card, I used the Swimming Pool Die in addition to the stamps to create another summer scene.

I created an A2 landscape card base from Naturals White cardstock which has lots of small brown speckles. I die cut the swimming pool from white and grey cardstock (railing). I did the outer piece twice, colored the top one with Copics and then stacked the die cuts together. The water was inked with Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I let it dry and inlaid it back into the tiled piece.

Once again, I used some accessory images from the sets mentioned above to complete my pool scene. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some Copic coloring. Everything was cut out with the matching dies and adhered with liquid glue or foam tape.

The sentiment is from the Sealiously Sweet set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered the strip at the top of the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a fun summer time!
