MFT Stamps • December Release Spotlight Day 3

22.12.2023

Hello lovelies,

it's Day 3 of the My Favorite Things December Release Spotlight and we continue to share more inspiration with the new products.

Today I'm showcasing the YUZU Micest Friend stamp set. These mice are way too cute!

First, I created a regular sized A2 card base from white cardstock. For the background, I did some circular ink blending with Distress Oxides (Mustard Seed, Wild Honey) and added spatters with a brush. I trimmed down one of the Diagonal Gingham Papers and adhered the strip to the bottom of the card. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I assembled the little scene by adhering the images with liquid glue and thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • January Vault Release Day

31.01.2023

Hi peeps,

the My Favorite Things Vault is open! You can now order your new favorites. Check out the MFT Blog for even more fab DT inspiration.

On today's project I tried to capture the vibe of summer with a refreshing lemonade presented on an oversized tag. I used the Mason Jar Mug Die-namics and the Blueprints 9 Die-namics.

First, I created a fun ink smooshed background with Distress Oxides (Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn). I also added splatters with a small brush. When everything was completely dry, I die cut it with the large tag shape. The little hole die and re-inforcer are included in the Blueprints set as well.

Next, I die cut the mason jar mug from white cardstock and added shading with Copics to make it look like glass. The lemonade part was cut from vellum and I colored the back in yellow. I die cut the straw from a piece of striped patterned paper (Feelin' Festive Paper Pad) and adhered it inside the mug.

For a bit of decoration, I die cut the citrus wedge and firefly from white and colored cardstock (Lemon Drop, Sno Cone, Kraft). I used the Mason Jar Labels stamp set for the sentiment. The solid label was stamped in Limelight Premium Dye Ink and then I white heat embossed the text.

Finally, I adhered the die-cuts to the tag with thin foam tape and attached a yellow ribbon to the top which I secured with a bow of green string.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 1

16.01.2023

Happy Monday everyone,

the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown wraps up today. We are revealing the remaining products of this lovable release which will be available tomorrow.

I made a simple card using the We Make a Great Combo stamp set. Love the cute faces of these fun food items.

First, I created an A2 top-folding card base from white cardstock. I then die cut a Something Blue Card Stock panel with the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also used the Box of Chocolates Die-namics to cut out a heart window. I adhered the panel with thin foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The little heart trio is from the YUZU Hunny Bunny stamp set and I stamped it directly inside the heart.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment strip with foam squares.

MFT Stamps • September Card Kit Release Day

27.09.2022

Hello everyone,

the brand new Coffee Shop Card Kit is now available for purchase! The price for this fabulous collection of coordinated products is more than 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

For today's inspiration card, I created an actual industrial style coffee shop with a cool brick wall, a big chalkboard and a wooden counter.

First, I adhered two of the Floor to Ceiling patterned papers to an A2 card base. Then I die cut the counter from Kraft and Milk Chocolate Card Stock using the Bistro Basics Die-namics. I stamped the Coffee Shop logo from the kit-exclusive stamp set onto a small Chantilly Cream Card Stock rectangle.

The chalkboard was cut from Something Blue (thin frame) and Gravel Gray Card Stock  with the Make a Sign Die-namics. I stamped the chalkboard lettering (also included in the kit-exclusive stamp set) in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it in white. For a more chalky look, I didn't wipe away the residue from the embossing powder tool.

Next, I die cut the coffee machine, cups, mugs, cake and cloche with the help of  the Be Your Own Barista Die-namics. The cardstock colors I used are Princess Pink, Red Hot, Chantilly Cream, Kraft, Milk Chocolate, Lazy Day, Something Blue, Gravel Gray and Black Licorice. The cloche was done in vellum which I colored on the back with a light blue Copic marker.

The ceiling lamp and plant are included in the add-on die sets Industrial Finishings and Pots and Plants. The additional cardstock colors I used are Lemon Drop and Jalapeño Popper.

I white heat embossed one of the Coffee Order sentiments onto a black cardstock rectangle. Finally, I assembled the card and adhered everything with liquid glue or foam squares.

MFT Stamps • September Card Kit • Countdown Day 1

26.09.2022

Happy Monday friends,

today we're introducing the superb Coffee Shop Card Kit that will be available tomorrow, September 27th at 10 am EDT.

This kit comes with lots of dies to create your own coffee shop themed scene and includes all the itty bitty pieces to dress it up even more. I created a scene that could be at home as well.

I started off with an A2 landscape card base and trimmed down two pieces of the Floor to Ceiling Paper Pad. I love how the striped wallpaper looks against the grey plank floor.

Next, I die cut the interior elements from Gravel Gray, Red Hot and Amarena Cherry Card Stock using the Bistro Basics Die-namics. The cups, coffee pot and cupcakes were die cut with the Be Your Own Barista Die-namics and placed onto the table. I added two plants (Pots and Plants Die-namics) and a clock (Industrial Finishings Die-namics) to my scene. The additional cardstock colors I used are Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Sour Apple, Field Green and Cement Gray. I did a bit of shading with Copics.

Finally, I adhered all the die-cuts and stamped one of the Coffee Order sentiments in black to the right side of the clock.

Here's another peek at the September Card Kit:

MFT Stamps • July Release Countdown Day 2

10.07.2022

Hi friends,

only 2 more sleeps until the My Favorite Things July Release goes live. Don't miss today's DT inspiration and product reveals over on the MFT Blog.

Who doesn't love some yummy ice cream on a hot summer day?! Today, I'm showcasing the MSTN Sweet Treats set which I paired with the Happy Swish Die-namics.

I picked a pastel color palette that reminds of ice cream flavors like Strawberry, Vanilla, Mint, Melon or Blueberry. The curved die-cuts have the perfect width to color them with the broad tip of alcohol markers like Copics. I adhered them at the bottom half of a white 4.75" x 3.5" cardstock panel.

The A2 card base was made from Chantilly Cream Card Stock. For a change, I stamped the images and sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating MSTN Sweet Treats Die-namics to cut them out.

Finally, I popped up the images and sentiment strip with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a beautiful Sunday!
