Hi peeps,
it's my turn again to share a new card over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog. Today I have an interactive card for you with a little surprise on the inside. I rarely create these kind of cards but the Sliding Window Die makes it soo easy!
First, I created an A2 card base from aqua cardstock. I die cut a stitched rectangle from the violet grid patterned paper (Gingham Pastels 6x6 Paper) which is slightly smaller. Next, I used the sliding window die to create the interactive part. It's a flap with three folds that can be popped up – but the card can be mailed flat into an envelope. Make sure to only put adhesive to the outside frame when adhering it to your card.
I kept the design of my card front pretty simple and decorated it with a white heat embossed birthday sentiment (Everyday Greetings Stamps), a cake (Make A Wish Stamps) and three die cut hearts (Basic Mini Shape Dies).
When you fold the flap up, the inside will be revealed. And here is my fun surprise – the two cute dogs from the Puppy Dog Kisses set are ready to celebrate and they brought a pile of gifts, too.
The gifts are from two other stamp sets (Alpaca Holiday Stamps and Foxy Christmas Stamps). I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. In the background, I blended together two Distress Oxide Inks (Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass) on a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock.
I loved creating this interactive card – it looks really sweet on display :-)
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Anja

Hello everyone,
Phew! I was sweating in my craft room creating another card for My Favorite Things Camp Create.
For Day 4 the craft is Sensational Sliders. To be honest, I rarely make this kind of interactive cards, so it took me quite a while ;-)
I created a little ocean scene with the «You Float My Boat» stamps and coordinating dies, Distress Inks and some additional MFT products.
At first, I stamped the cute sail boat with MFT Premium Dye Inks (Blueberry, Blu Raspberry and Chili Powder) and the help of my MISTI. Next, I blended together three Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch) and added lots of water sprinkles. When everything was completely dry, I cut some waves with the «Stitched Scallop Edges» Die-namics and white heat embossed the sentiment.
The most tricky part was to construct the hidden slider channel for my boat. I really used a lot of foam tape on this card :-)
For the sun in the background, I did some faded Ink Blending with Lemon Chiffon and Insulation Pink. I stamped the birds from the «Party Like A Pirate» set in VersaFine «Onyx Black» and adhered two die-cut and shaded clouds («Cloud 9» Die-namics) with foam tape.
And here is my fourth Camp Create Badge! Woot woot!
Thank you so much for stopping by! See ya soon!

Hello everyone,
today I show you my card for the last Make it Crafty CAS Challenge with the fun theme «Make it move!». All you have to do is create a project that incorporates some form of 'movement'.
I used the beautiful Hummingbird Digi Stamp from the new Elegant Birds Collection. I combined this cutie with the Hibiscus flower which is provided in the same download.
At first, I masked off the hibiscus and blended in some blue ink and let it fade out towards the centre. Then I colored the images with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. It's probably not realistic looking but I love the colors. To create my moving element, I fussy cut the hummingbird and put it on an Action Wobbler. I also added lots of shimmer to the bird with the ZIG Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen in Clear.
The sentiment is from the Mama Elephant «Make A Wish» stamp set. I stamped the text with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using WOW! «Metallic Platinum» embossing powder. I added some Pretty Pink Posh «Sparkling Clear» sequins and my DIY rosy droplets.
Here is a short video to show you the wiggling hummingbird ;-)
There's still time to enter our «Make it move!» challenge by the end of the month. You can find all the details HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning everyone,
today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Summer Holidays».
I made this fun summer-themed Slider Card using My Favorite Things products.
This Pure Innocence stamp set is called Fun In The Sun. I colored the image with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I love that there is also a little die for the sunglasses which I covered with Glossy Accents. For her bathing suit I did some Paper Piecing and added a little shading with Copics.
I blended together the pretty Distress Ink colors «Cracked Pistachio», «Peacock Feathers» and «Mermaid Lagoon» to create a water background. I randomly splattered some water droplets to lift the color here and there.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in VersaFine «Onyx Black» on a piece of white cardstock and cut out a circle window using the MFT «Jumbo Peek-a-Boo» Die-namics.
To create my slider element I used one of the Lawn Fawn «Slide On Over» dies and applied LOTS of foam tape so the little girl would slide under the circle window.
Here's a little animation:
You will have time until July 31st, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
