Hi crafty friends,
the adorable Unicorn Tales set from the latest Hello Bluebird April Release is one of my favorites so I created another card with one of these cuties.
First, I created a watercolor background using some sparkly Nuvo Shimmer Powders. Next, I heat embossed the unicorn and the clouds from the Maverick set with silver embossing powder. I colored the images with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
The Make a Wish Words Dies are perfect to take center stage on your card. I die cut the words right into my watercolor panel and then inlaid the stacked sentiment (two layers of white cardstock with one layer of silver glitter cardstock on top). I embellished the card with Rainbow Diamonds by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi peeps,
today I'm back on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog with a new summer project featuring the Catch A Wave Dies.
This time I created a circle card and combined the wave die-cuts with the Magical Mermaid Stamps. First, I die cut the waves from several aqua and blue shades of cardstock and layered them on top of each other. I also die cut a stitched frame from navy cardstock.
Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from the Miss Moo set and I white heat embossed it. To embellish my card I added two beautiful pearls which matches the mermaid's tail perfectly.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone,
the Sunny Studio Stamps Summer Release went live last Friday and I'm delighted to share my first card using some of the new products. Today I'm showcasing the Coastal Cuties Stamps. The two girls included in this set are having so much fun in the sun!
I created a square card and die cut the yellow sunburst paper from the Spring Sunburst 6x6 paper pack for my cheering background. For the water, I pulled out some Alcohol Inks in aqua and blue tones and die cut the Yupo paper with a circle die. Next, I die cut one of the Fancy Frame Circle Dies from white cardstock and adhered it on top of my Alcohol Ink circle.
I stamped the girls as well as the palm tree (from the new Sending Sunshine set), island image (Island Getaway Stamps) and crab (Oceans of Joy Stamps) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I covered the girl's floating ring with Glossy Accents for some extra shine.
For the sentiment, I combined the gold heat embossed word "Sending" and the Sunshine Word Die which I die cut from golden glitter cardstock. To finish off my summer card, I adhered three aqua jewels to the water.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope to see you again next Thursday!

Hi crafty friends,
today the amazing and magical Hello Bluebird April Release will be available for purchase (7:00pm MST). You will love all these wonderful products, I'm sure!
The DT created wonderful projects during the Preview days and here are the cards I came up with.
Card 1 – Fairy Garden Stamps and Garden Friends Stamps
I'm so in love with the adorable images from the Fairy Garden and Garden Friends sets. They are beyond cute, designed to be combined and just perfect for scene building. I had a blast creating this 5x7" card.
For the background, I did some blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch). I sprinkled on some water to lift the color here and there and added shimmery Nuvo "Fairy Wings" Dream Drops which I diluted with water.
I stamped many images from both stamps sets and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next, I created a grass border by blending together Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks and used one of the Grassy Knoll Dies.
The sentiment was stamped and white heat embossed right in the middle of the card. It was so much fun to arrange and adhere all these cute images.
Card 2 – Maverick Stamps and Sunshine Scene Die
For my second card I paired the sweet images from the Maverick set with the cloud borders from the Sunshine Scene Die which is one of two clever stand-alone scene building dies.
The stamp set comes with a fun airplane and four interchangeable critter pilots. I colored the images with Copics and used the companion dies. In the background, I did some stenciling with a Florilèges sunburst stencil and yellow Dye Inks. I added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the cloud borders using a blending brush.
To frame my scene, I used a die from the Gallery Frame #1 set and cut it from Kraft cardstock. I stamped the sentiment into the cloud using blue ink for a change. I popped up the images with foam tape and finished my card by adding some wood veneer stars.
Card 3 – Unicorn Tales Stamps, Sparkles Script Stamps, After The Rain Scene Die and Magical Sparkle Words Die
Unicorns seem to be still very popular and this new Unicorn Tales set is just the cutest! The After The Rain Scene Die takes all the guesswork out of designing a magical scene.
First, I die cut all the pieces from several colors of cardstocks (frame and rainbow), patterned paper (sky background) and Bristol cardstock (cloud borders). I love how easily this scene came together!
Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the companion dies to cut them out. I die cut the word "Sparkle" (Magical Sparkle Words Die) from glitter cardstock and combined it with a gold heat embossed Sparkle Script sentiment. To finish off my card, I embellished it with sparkling clear sequins.
Card 4 – Fly a Kite Stamps
For my final card I created a lovely summer scene with the adorable critters from the Fly a Kite set. I especially love the racoon and little mouse!
I did some soft ink blending with Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks. I also added random ink splatters with a paint brush. The images were colored with Copics and cut out with the coordinating dies.
I kept the design pretty simple and white heat embossed the sentiment at the bottom of the card. Finally, I adhered two tiny white heart die-cuts.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you got inspired and happy shopping ;-)

Hi everyone,
this week Sunny Studio Stamps is also partnering up with Becky Fleck over at PageMaps which is a great free sketch resource for scrapbookers and cardmakers. Each of us was provided with one of the April 2019 CardMaps sketches.
This is what I came up with:
And here is the sketch I followed:
I loved playing with the Chubby Bunny Stamps again – they are soo cute! The tulip and the heart are included in the Spring Greetings set. I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I created four little scenes for each bunny by die cutting the smallest of the Fancy Frames Square Dies from cardstock in spring colors. Behind the frames I put matching ink blended backgrounds which I made with Distress Oxide Inks. The patterned papers I used are from the Gingham Pastels 6x6 and the Spring Sunburst 6x6 paper packs.
It was so much fun to use a sketch for the card layout – I haven't done this in ages! So thanks for having us, Becky!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a relaxed Sunday!

Good morning everyone,
only two more weeks and it's Easter and this it what's all about this month at the Stempelgarten Challenge.
I combined two Pure Innocence stamp sets by My Favorite Things for my Easter card. The girl, egg and sentiment are from the "Somebunny Sweet" set and the bunny, chick and butterfly are included in the "Spring Friends" set.
All images were stamped in Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink and colored with Copics. For my little spring scene, I sponged some pink clouds using the MFT "Cloud Stencil" and "Worn Lipstick" Distress Oxide Ink. I die cut a grass border from patterned paper with the MFT "Grassy Edges" Die-namics. I framed the scene by combining the stitched scalloped die from the MFT "Blueprints 27" set and one of the "A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2" dies. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger "Liquid Platinum" embossing powder. I finished off my card by adding some matching sequins.
You will have time until April 30th, 2019 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great Friday!

Hello everyone,
today I have the honor to be part of this week's product swap with Therm O Web.
For the first time I tried Foiling with Deco Foil Transfer Sheets. I love the shine that it adds to the project, but it's not easy to capture in the photo.
I used three widths of double-sided adhesive tape and adhered them at an angle on a panel of white cardstock leaving a gap inbetween each strip. Next, I cut a piece of "Rose Gold" foil to be slightly larger and put it on top of the exposed adhesive with the silver coated side facing down. I carefully rubbed my fingers over the strips to transfer the foil. So no heat or a laminator required. It's like magic when you peel off the foil.
To create an elegant card, I inked up the Everything's Rosy Stamps again. I think the Teal (find the ink colors below) goes great with the Rose Gold. Instead of stamping the last layer with the darkest shade of ink, I applied foil using a bit of liquid glue. I used the coordinating Everything's Rosy Dies to cut out the rose and leaves. I love to use the Therm O Web "Purple Tape" to hold my dies in place while die cutting. It's removable, doesn't leave any adhesive residue behind and peels off easily without tearing the paper.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Since there is no matching die, I fussy cut the word with scissors.
Please have a look at all the gorgeous projects my team mates created with the Therm O Web projects this week.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
