Hello everyone,
I always need birthday cards in my stash and the Sunny Studio Studio Make A Wish set is just perfect for this occasion.
First, I created a fun Alcohol Ink background on glossy cardstock and cut it with a stitched rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and white heat embossed it. I adhered the panel to my top-folding A2 card base made from light grey cardstock.
I white heat embossed the cake images on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored them with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To embellish my card, I added crystals by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Sunday everyone,
today I'm on the Hello Bluebird blog sharing a project made with the Spring Gatherings set and Basic Borders Die from the latest February Release. I also used the Stitched Tag Builder Die and the Partial Die Cutting technique to extend the height to create a bookmark instead of a tag.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Thursday everyone,
today I'm showcasing the sweet Sunny Studio Stamps Puppy Parents set. I created a masculine card for Father's Day.
I started with an A2 top-folding card base made from teal cardstock. Next, I ran a piece of navy cardstock in the Quilted Hearts Embossing Folder through my die-cutting machine. For a change, I decided to use the debossed side. I cut a strip of yellow patterned paper from the Dots & Stripes Pastels 6x6 Paper pack and adhered it over my embossed panel.
I stamped the cute dogs and fun accessories in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. I die cut two circles from white and red (as a mat) cardstock. For the background of my little scene, I did some masking and light ink blending with Distress Oxides (Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn).
I used three of the text stamps which are included in the set to create my custom sentiment. The "thanks daddy" was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink next to the doghouse. I stamped the other sentiment in VersaMark Ink on a small strip of teal cardstock and white heat embossed it. To finish off my card, I adhered two little die-cut hearts.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hi peeps,
the fab Hello Bluebird February Release went live yesterday! Today I have this card for you highlighting the awesome Portrait Pals set. I only used three of the six critters that are included in the set and they are so much fun to color!
First, I created a radient sky background by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch) on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Next, I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
The Photo Stack Die which is also part of the new release goes perfectly with these critters. I die cut the frames twice from white cardstock and stacked them together for more sturdiness. The die set also comes with the word "smile" that I cut from an ink blended left-over piece as well as two little hearts (included in the Gallery Frame Die #1).
I white heat embossed one of the new Typed Everyday sentiments on a thin strip of black cardstock. Finally, I assembled my card by tucking the leaves under the photo frames and adhering all the pieces at an angle for some interest.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi everyone,
today I'm back with a new card for the Sunny Studio Stamps blog. For a change, I created a circle shaped card using the adorable Miss Moo Stamps. To build a little scene, I combined the sweet cow with the mountains from the Alpaca Holiday set and the clouds from the Comic Strip Everyday Dies.
First, I created a round card base from light grey cardstock using a 4 3/16 inch circle die. For the scene background, I die cut two circles from patterned paper (purple: Spring Sunburst 6x6 Paper; teal: Gingham Pastels 6x6 Paper).
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I adhered the mountain row right over the edge where the two patterned papers meet.
To frame my scene, I die cut one of the Fancy Frames Circle Dies from white cardstock. I doubled up the frames for a little dimension. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink on a strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed it. I adhered the cow and sentiment with foam tape and added a tiny die cut heart to the middle cloud.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you're having a fabulous day!

Hi crafty friends,
only two more days and the new Hello Bluebird February Release will be available! Today I'm showcasing the sweet Easter Egg Hunt set.
I created a happy spring scene combining the cute images with some previously released products. I stamped the Country Gingham Background in light pink and die cut a grass border (Grassy Knoll Die) from green watercolor patterned paper.
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To frame my scene, I cut the scalloped stitched die from the Gallery Frame #2 set from pink cardstock. Finally, I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock which I die cut with the little banner that is included in the Stitched Tag Builder Die set.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Hello everyone,
today I'm back with a slimline card featuring the Hello Bluebird Party Parade set which will be released this Friday.
I had so much fun coloring all these cute critters with my Copics. I also stamped the music notes in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and cut the images out with the companion dies. To keep the design simple, I blended the top (Tumbled Glass) and bottom (Antique Linen) of a Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock panel with Distress Oxide Inks. I adhered the bunny, elephant and duck with foam tape to put them visually in the foreground.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Stay tuned for another preview tomorrow!
