Good morning everyone,
I finally got my hands on the new products from the Hello Bluebird May Release. And what can I say, I just LOVE them all!
I made this card using these adorable pigs from the Farmyard Little Bits stamp set. They are sitting on a polka dot blanket (from the Hippos on Holiday set) enyoing a little cupcake picnic. I did some masking to create my scene. Since I haven't done the No Line Coloring technique for quite a while, I used it for a change. I combined Copics and Prismacolor pencils for details. I tried the new-to-me «Fadeout No Line Coloring» ink by Ink On 3 and I really like it.
In the background, I did some light ink blending using the Tim Holtz Distress Blending Brushes which are great for this. Next, I die cut the My Favorite Things «Snow Globe» shape from «Subtle Plaids» patterned paper. I directly adhered my colored scene to the card base and popped up the plaid window panel with foam tape. The sentiment from the Farmyard Little Bits stamp set was heat embossed in white on a small banner. Finally, I added two die cut clouds (Puddle Play Die) and a small pink heart.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
Anja

Hi crafty friends,
today I'm back with a sweet Baby card that I made by mixing and matching several Hello Bluebird stamps.
I love coloring these cute critter images! The elephant is from the Jungle Littles set, the duck comes from the newly released Puddle Play set and the little snail you find in the Springtime set. I also added the balloon from the Silly Birds set. I cut all images out with their companion dies.
For the light yellow pattern, I stamped the pretty Country Gingham Background and cut it with a stitched rectangle die by My Favorite Things. I also die cut a stitched frame from yellow cardstock to set my critters in scene. I adhered the images with foam tape for a little bit of dimension.
Next, I die cut the word «hello» (which you can find in the Gallery Frame Die #1 set) from light grey cardstock. I layered three die cuts on top of each other. I heat embossed the «little one» sentiment from the Cheery Greetings set with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder. To embellish my card, I adhered three silver star sequins by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

Hello everyone,
have you seen the gorgeous new Hello Bluebird May release? It's jam packed with the cutest stamps and companion dies as well as two great stand-alone die sets.
Before I can show you some samples featuring the new amazing products, I have this card for you today.
I chose the flamingo from the fun Silly Birds set. First, I cut a window with one of the MFT «Jumbo Peek-A-Boo Circle Window» Die-namics. For the background, I picked three Distress Oxide Inks: Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China. I did the ink blending directly on my card base which goes right behind the circle opening. I also added some ink splatters in the same colors.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings Bear set in VersaFine «Onyx Black» and cut out the word «you» with the coordinating die. I adhered the panel and the flamingo with foam tape. To decorate my card, I stamped and die cut some flowers and leaves from the Silly Birds and Jungle Littles set. All images were colored with Copics. Finally, I adhered two matching enamel dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Hello everyone,
it's no secret that I love butterflies ;-) So of course, I had to have the Memory Box «Drifting Side Butterfly». It comes with two dies – a solid and an intricate outline one.
This is the simple card that I made:
For the solid part, I used a blue leftover Alcohol Ink piece and cut the intricate outline from silver cardstock. I die cut the chevron patterned paper (Cocoa Vanilla Studio «More Than Words») with the largest of the My Favorite Things «Stitched Wonky Rectangle STAX» Die-namics. Next, I did some random splatters with «Blueprint Sketch» Distress Oxide Ink.
The sentiment is from the MFT «Geometric Greenery» set and I white heat embossed it on a banner. Therefore, I used «Steel Grey» cardstock and one of the «Stitched Sentiment Strips» Die-namics, both by MFT, too. Finally, I popped up the butterfly and banner with foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi peeps,
If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably read about my excitement that I joined the Hello Bluebird Design Team. I'm still so thrilled and thankful to be part of this amazingly talented group of wonderful ladies.
And have you heard the other exciting news? The new May release is just around the corner and will go live tomorrow! I'm pretty sure you will love the upcoming cute products as much as I do ;-)
Since I haven't had the chance to play with the new products yet, I'm sharing a card using one of the already existing sets with you. It's called Springtime and features the sweetest little critters.
I colored them with Copics and added details with Prismacolor Pencils (the cat's fur) and a white gelly roll pen. For the background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Antique Linen) and sprinkled on lots of water for this fun texture. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and adhered «Ice Cube Mix Jewels» by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
Be sure to visit the Hello Bluebird Blog to check out the new release previews and don't forget to comment for your chance to win one of three $25 Gift Certificates to the Hello Bluebird Shop.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a happy day!
Anja!

Good morning everyone,
the month is halfway through – so this means there's time for a new challenge theme over at the bastel-traum.ch blog: «Rainbow Colors/Fantasy».
This challenge will run until June 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
I love rainbows and created this fun shaker card using the cute Piñata from the Lawn Fawn «Year Seven» stamp set.
A few months ago, Lawn Fawn released the perfect «Really Rainbow» paper pack and I adhered one of the rainbow stripe designs to my card base. For my shaker element, I die cut the largest of the «Stitched Circle Tags» twice from white card stock. I also cut out a circle window from the top layer and adhered a piece of acetate behind it. I filled my shaker with the most gorgeous Rainbow Diamonds and Jewels by Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
I attached the piñata with «Black Tie Single Cord» to the top of the tag, so it would dangle freely if you shake the card. Finally, I white heat embossed the «Happy Birthday» sentiment from the «Hay There» set on a stitched banner (MFT «Stitched Sentiments Strips» Die-namics).
I'm playing along with the current Lawn Fawnatics Card Sketch Challenge:

Hi everyone,
sadly, this will be our last Stempelgarten Challenge for the moment. The new theme is «Animals». Of course, I love to create cards with cute critters!
I made this fun card using the My Favorite Things «Jungle Vibes» stamp set and the gorgeous «Celebrate» word die.
I colored the sweet animals with Copics and fussy cut them out with scissors. The frame is from the MFT «Blueprints 27» Die-namics set. I sponged and sprinkled the papers that went behind the window openings with Distress Oxide Inks. The word «celebrate» was die cut three times, stacked for dimension and covered with clear embossing powder.
You will have time until May 20th, 2018 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
I'm entering the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme «Animal Magic».
Thank you so much for stopping by!
