Hi peeps,
it has been a busy time the last couple of days! But before I enjoy the upcoming holidays, I wanted to share a last Christmas card with you.
I just love this gorgeous «House in the Woods» die from Poppystamps. It's perfect to build a simple scene and looks great in combination with a watercolor background. I used Distress Inks («Peacock Feathers», «Mermaid Lagoon», «Blueprint Sketch» and «Seedless Preserves») and added some random splatters of white paint.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment (which means «Merry Christmas»; Dani Peuss Klartext-Stempel «Fröhliche Weihnachtszeit») with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder. Finally, I popped up my die-cut panel with foam tape.
I'm joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp where one can upload holiday cards celebrating the National Christmas Card Day.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello everyone,
I can't get enough of these new cream Make it Crafty chipboards, so I made another holiday card with them.
The Merry Word Chipboard is available in four sizes and I picked the 3.5 inches one since it is perfect as the focal point on a card. I left the hand lettered word as is and covered the backing layer with WOW! «Metallic Copper» embossing powder. I white heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp «Christmas» sentiment on a strip of Kraft cardstock which I cut into a banner.
For the white-on-white background, I used the Taylored Expressions «Snowflake Cutting Plate» and layered the die-cut on top of a piece of white cardstock. I wrapped some thin Copper string around the die-cut panel and glued it to a Kraft card base. Next, I adhered the sentiment banner, the Merry Word Chipboard and added two of the delicate Star Snowflake Chipboards (0.7 inch and 1 inch).
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi everyone,
it's already time for the last bastel-traum.ch Challenge of the year. The new theme is «Watercolor».
This challenge will run until January 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
For my card I used a winter scene which I stamped and colored for Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Although I'm still learning to use my ZIGs properly, I enjoyed watercoloring these adorable images from the Hero Arts «Winter Time Fun» set.
I stamped the sentiment in black and two small snowflakes in blue and used a white Sharpie pen to draw the falling snow. Next, I framed my scene using the largest of the My Favorite Things «Single Stitch Line Square Frames» Die-namics. I also hand-cut two banners (from patterned paper and glitter tape) and layered them on top of each other. Finally, I adhered the framed scene with foam tape to a white square card base.

Good morning,
it's time for a new theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge – this month we invite you to create a project using «Fir tree and/or twigs».
For my CAS Christmas card I made a little winter scene with dies, a stencil and a sentiment stamp.
To create my background, I took a piece of Stampin' Up! «Indigo Blue» cardstock and sponged «Unicorn» white pigment ink through the Simon Says Stamp «Falling Snow» stencil. Next, I cut the trees from white cardstock using the Impression Obsession «Fir Tree Border» die. I stamped the Memory Box «Merry Christmas» sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it with «Metallic Copper» powder from WOW!.
To give it some dimension, I popped up the die-cut panel with foam tape. The cute deers were cut from wood veneer paper with the Poppystamps «Playful Fawns» dies. I also added a tiny red heart.
You will have time until December 31st, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
I'm joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme Anything Goes.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great start into the new week!
