Hi peeps,

when you're running out of time, you'll have to create some quick cards ;-)

Therefore Die Cutting and Heat Embossing are really helpful and time-saving techniques.

On my first card I stamped the chicken from Inkadinkado in VersaMark and heat embossed it with WOW! embossing powder in Copper.

I also did the same with the German Stampin' Up! sentiment which means «Easter Greetings». I really like how the Copper looks on the SU «Naturals White» cardstock that has some little speckles.


For my second card I die-cut a bunny (Poppystamps «Bunny Buddies») out of a easter egg (Whimsy Stamps «Egg»).

The cardstock in this beautiful «Rich Razzleberry» color is also from Stampin' Up!. I stamped the sentiment from Alexandra Renke (which means «Happy Easter») in the matching color. I cut a square using the My Favorite Things «In&Out Diagonal Stitched Square» Die-namics.

DT Stempelgarten Challenge April

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a great time with your family and friends on Easter.

Today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Butterflies and/or Dragonflies».

I love to do watercoloring lately and used my Distress Inks for this happy background. At first, I heat embossed the butterfly from Inkadinkado (designed by Brenda Walton) in white. Then I wet the area around the butterfly and added three different colors by loosely dabbing my brush. I also did some fun splatters.

The sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps and I cut a little banner and popped it up with foam tape. To embellish my card I added my beloved enamel dots.

DT-Card Everybody-Art-Challenge #280

Guten Morgen miteinander,

heute gibt es wieder ein neues Thema bei der Everybody-Art-Challenge und es lautet «Bling Bling». Dafür entstanden ist diese Hochzeitskarte – ich habe mich dafür von der lieben Jenni Pauli inspirieren lassen.

Neben einigen Strasssteinchen habe ich auch noch kleine Halbperlen in die Mitte der ausgestanzten Itty Bitty-Blüten aufgeklebt. Für meine Verhältnisse ist das echt schon einiges an Bling Bling ;o)

Der schöne Stempel (ein älteres und bisher noch unbenutztes Schätzchen aus meiner Sammlung) heißt «Silhouette Kiss» und stammt von Inkadinkado. Ich habe ihn in Versamark gestempelt und weiß embosst. Der Cardstock (Cremeweiß, Kirschblüte und Schiefergrau) ist ebenso wie die verwendete Blütenstanze und der Blümchen-Stempel (aus dem Set «Confetti») von Stampin' Up!. Der wunderbare Spruch-Stempel ist von Alexandra Renke und die kleinen Herzen wurden mit dem «Mini Heart Collection»-
Die von Memory Box ausgestanzt.
