we are halfway through the My Favorite Things October Release Countdown and today we'd like to introduce some wonderful dies and stamps that would work well for mass producing cards.
I created a simple and elegant card in soft pink using the Peaceful Dove and the Peace Die-namics.
I started off with an A2 card base made from Princess Pink Card Stock and also trimmed down another piece of this color to be slightly smaller. For a bit of contrast, I cut a mat from Cement Gray Card Stock.
You almost can't see it in the photo, but I used the Ray of Light Stencil with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink to create some subtle rays coming from the top right corner. I also added some paint splatters with a small brush.
For the word 'Peace', I cut the letters from gold glitter cardstock and
lined them up at the bottom with the help of the negative cut-out. Next, I die cut the dove from white (body and wings), grey (beak) and black (eye) cardstock. The little branch was done in green. I assembled the dove and adhered it slightly offset the center above the letters.
To finish off my card, I added a red heart using the die included in the Cool Christmas Trees Die-namics set.
