Hello everyone,
today I want to share a Birthday card with you that I created using some great products by My Favorite Things.
A couple of weeks ago, I took the plurge and finally purchased a pack of the popular ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens. The very first image I colored in is this cute bear from the MFT Birdie Brown «Beary Special Birthday» stamp set.
For the background I die-cut one of the «Watercolor Wash» patterned papers with the largest «Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX» Die-namics. I also created a border out of a strip of «Proper Pinstripes» patterned paper cut with a «Stitched Scallop Edge» die.
Then I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark on a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it in white. I fussy cut the little bear and popped him up with foam tape. To embellish my card I added some enamel dots.
I'm taking part in the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.
I'd also like to enter the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi everyone,
after a little summer break, I'm back with this floral Birthday card using the «Beautiful Day» stamp set and Dye Inks from Altenew. I did some Masking to stamp the images.
I really love layering stamp sets and the classic look of these beautiful flowers! I added some tiny dots of «Lavender» Liquid Pearls to the pistils of the flower.
The sentiment is from the German Klartext-Stempel set «Glückwunsch» by Dani Peuss. I heat embossed it in white on a strip of black cardstock which I cut into a banner shape.
I cut a piece of striped paper and taped it to my card base before adhering my stamped panel (mounted on fun foam). To finish my card I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Hello everyone,
today I show you my card for the last Make it Crafty CAS Challenge with the fun theme «Make it move!». All you have to do is create a project that incorporates some form of 'movement'.
I used the beautiful Hummingbird Digi Stamp from the new Elegant Birds Collection. I combined this cutie with the Hibiscus flower which is provided in the same download.
At first, I masked off the hibiscus and blended in some blue ink and let it fade out towards the centre. Then I colored the images with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. It's probably not realistic looking but I love the colors. To create my moving element, I fussy cut the hummingbird and put it on an Action Wobbler. I also added lots of shimmer to the bird with the ZIG Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen in Clear.
The sentiment is from the Mama Elephant «Make A Wish» stamp set. I stamped the text with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using WOW! «Metallic Platinum» embossing powder. I added some Pretty Pink Posh «Sparkling Clear» sequins and my DIY rosy droplets.
Here is a short video to show you the wiggling hummingbird ;-)
There's still time to enter our «Make it move!» challenge by the end of the month. You can find all the details HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning everyone,
it's the 15th of the month and we have a new and easy theme for the bastel-traum.ch Challenge – «Anything Goes».
This challenge will run until August 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
I was totally in a summer mood when I created my card with these adorable flamingos from Lawn Fawn.
For my scene I used the «Flamingo Together» stamps and coordinating dies. I cut a circle with a Simon Says Stamp «Stitched Circle» die and stamped the sand hill from the «Life Is Good» set. I colored it with Copics as well as the flamingos, the heart (which I covered with Glossy Accents) and tiny flower. Then I masked off the sand hill and did some Ink Blending with «Tumbled Glass» Distress Ink.
The gorgeous sentiment which I stamped in VersaFine «Onyx Black» is from the «Big Scripty Words» set and I love the matching dies. I cut the striped patterned paper (Pebbles Jen Hadfield «Cottage Living» paper pad) with the largest SSS «Stitched Rectangle» die and put it onto a top-folding card base made from black cardstock. I adhered the circle and flamingos with foam tape for and tied a bow with Lawn Trimmings «Black Tie Single Cord». To finish my card, I added some Pretty Pink Posh «Metallic Rose Gold» and «Sparkling Clear» sequins.
I'm joining the following challenges:
Addicted to CAS – Challenge #92 Stripes
Everybody Art Challenge – Challenge #377 Summer/Holiday
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Create A Scene
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again tomorrow :-)

Good morning everyone,
today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Summer Holidays».
I made this fun summer-themed Slider Card using My Favorite Things products.
This Pure Innocence stamp set is called Fun In The Sun. I colored the image with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I love that there is also a little die for the sunglasses which I covered with Glossy Accents. For her bathing suit I did some Paper Piecing and added a little shading with Copics.
I blended together the pretty Distress Ink colors «Cracked Pistachio», «Peacock Feathers» and «Mermaid Lagoon» to create a water background. I randomly splattered some water droplets to lift the color here and there.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in VersaFine «Onyx Black» on a piece of white cardstock and cut out a circle window using the MFT «Jumbo Peek-a-Boo» Die-namics.
To create my slider element I used one of the Lawn Fawn «Slide On Over» dies and applied LOTS of foam tape so the little girl would slide under the circle window.
Here's a little animation:
You will have time until July 31st, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
