today starts a new bastel-traum.ch Challenge and the theme is «Travel/Vacation».
The summer holidays are just around the corner, so I made this fun card which I decorated on the front and also on the inside. I used the My Favorite Things «Blueprints 28» Die-namics which feature an interactive flap design.
I cut it from this gorgeous clouds patterned paper (American Crafts/Shimelle «Starshine» 6"x6" paper pad). To make it more sturdy I cut it a second time from white cardstock and glued both pieces together. The cute plane is from the Lawn Fawn «Bon Voyage» stamp set. I colored it with Copics and cut it out with the coordinating die. I also stamped the sentiment from the LF «Life Is Good» set and die-cut a banner. I popped up both elements with foam tape.
For the inside of my card I created a little beach scene with the stamps and dies from the LF «Life Is Good» set.
Besides the Copic Coloring I also did some Masking and Ink Blending using Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks («Sea Glass», «Maliblue» and «Audrey Blue»). The stitched sun is from the LF «Spring Showers» dies set. Finally, I adhered the flap design over the scene.

Oh, Anja... was für eine tolle Idee... Eine Karte in einer Karte :) Die Farben sind richtige Sommerfarben... Ich hatte es ja schon auf Instagram geschrieben, die Karte ist richtig toll! Ich habe ja lange Zeit den Sinn dieser MFT-Stanze nicht ganz begriffen und empfand sie - wenn überhaupt - nur als witzige Spielerei. Aber für deine Karte ist sie geradezu genial! Toll, was sich damit für Geschichten erzählen lassen. Und nebenbei ein großes Lob für dein grandioses Fotografengeschick. Ich werde mich wahrscheinlich ewig fragen, wie du es geschafft hast, die Karte in geöffnetem Zustand zu fotografieren. :o)
