Hi peeps,
it's my turn over at the Make it Crafty Store Blog and I tried something different and created this tag card.
I used the word «hugs» from the Outlined Words With Love Chipboard set and some pretty patterned papers from Pink Paislee and Simple Stories. I cut this large tag shape with the Avery Elle «A Tag For All» die – once from the floral patterned paper and a second time from white cardstock. Then I glued both tags together to make it more sturdy.
The chipboard was heat embossed with mint and black embossing powder and I adhered it to the tag at an angle. I cut some strips of patterned paper and used a stapler to attach these layered banners to my tag card. Then I made a bow from chevron ribbon and baker's twine. To finish my project I added some enamel dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello everyone,
now and then you create a sympathy card for someone who has lost a beloved person. And sometimes you gonna make a card for someone who's still in grief about this loss. Because mourning takes time and everyone is different. So, I like the idea of sending out «Thinking Of You» cards to let them know that I feel for them.
Here is the card that I made recently:
I kept it pretty simple by white heat embossing this beautiful floral image from Studio Calico/Jasmine Jones onto «Pool Party/Aquamarin» cardstock by Stampin' Up!. Then I added some light shading to the blossoms' petals with Prismacolor Pencils in white and aqua. I stamped the sentiment (from the German SU set «Malerische Grüsse» which means «I'm thinking of you») with VersaFine «Onyx Black».
I die-cut my panel with the My Favorite Things «Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX» Die-namics and popped up the outside piece with foam tape. I think this almost looks like a frame.

Hi everyone,
today I want to share with you the card that I made for the current Make it Crafty Clean and Simple Challenge with the theme «Clear Plastic/Acetate».
For my card base I used one of the handy Hero Arts acetate cards. At first, I cut the My Favorite Things «Snow Drifts Cover-Up» Die-namics from pink cardstock. I carefully adhered it to the card front with «Multi-Medium Matte» by Ranger. Then I decorated it with the fabulous Outlined Words With Love Chipboards. I heat embossed the outline of the word «love» and also the hearts with white embossing powder. The word itself was heat embossed in black. I added a banner with a white embossed Papertrey Ink sentiment.
For the inside of my card I tried a fun Marbling technique which was introduced to me by the talented Kara Vrabel (she used several spray mists) some weeks ago. I took a flat plastic container and filled it with water. Then I lightly spritzed it with Ranger Adirondack Color Wash Spray in «Cranberry» and swirled it around with the end of a paint brush. I grabbed a piece of white cardstock and quickly placed it on the surface of the water and removed it right away. I let it air dry completely before adhering it to the inside of my card. The effect is really cool and I like to try it again with some other mediums and colors.
I cut a second piece of white cardstock in the same size and adhered it to the back of my card to hide the glue. Since the card is transparent you could write your message on the back.
There's still time to enter our «Clear Plastic/Acetate» challenge by the end of the month. You can find all the details HERE.

Good morning peeps,
today starts a new bastel-traum.ch Challenge and the theme is «Travel/Vacation».
This challenge will run until July 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
The summer holidays are just around the corner, so I made this fun card which I decorated on the front and also on the inside. I used the My Favorite Things «Blueprints 28» Die-namics which feature an interactive flap design.
I cut it from this gorgeous clouds patterned paper (American Crafts/Shimelle «Starshine» 6"x6" paper pad). To make it more sturdy I cut it a second time from white cardstock and glued both pieces together. The cute plane is from the Lawn Fawn «Bon Voyage» stamp set. I colored it with Copics and cut it out with the coordinating die. I also stamped the sentiment from the LF «Life Is Good» set and die-cut a banner. I popped up both elements with foam tape.
For the inside of my card I created a little beach scene with the stamps and dies from the LF «Life Is Good» set.
Besides the Copic Coloring I also did some Masking and Ink Blending using Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks («Sea Glass», «Maliblue» and «Audrey Blue»). The stitched sun is from the LF «Spring Showers» dies set. Finally, I adhered the flap design over the scene.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Hi everyone,
the wedding season already started and I want to show you a card with one of my favorite stamps for this occasion – it's the beautiful «Swallowtail» from Stampin' Up!.
It's big enough to almost cover up a card front. I stamped it at an angle with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with the gorgeous «Under The Sea» Embossing Glitter by WOW!. I love all that sparkle! The sentiment is a combo of a German stamp set from www.danipeuss.de (Klartext-Stempel «Ein Blümchen für Dich») and SU! («Zum schönsten Tag im Leben»). I heat embossed it with WOW! «Metallic Platinum» Super Fine Embossing Powder. I embellished my card with some sequins.

Good morning everyone,
it's again time for the Stempelgarten Challenge and the new theme for this month is «Card for a Man».
I often struggle with creating masculine cards – but here's my attempt:
For this Birthday card I made a little scene using dies and stamps from Memory Box and Your Next Stamp. At first I did some faded Ink Blending with «Tumbled Glass» Distress Ink. Then I die-cut the YNS «Houses On A Hill» from Simon Says Stamp «Fog» cardstock. I also inlaid the little windows which I cut from white cardstock.
The clouds (solid and outline image) and the hot air balloon are from the Memory Box Open Studio «Flying High» stamp set. I think this is just perfect for masculine cards. I colored the balloon with Copics and fussy cut it out before adhering it with foam tape.
On top of the card I added a cloud border cut with one of the My Favorite Things «Stitched Cloud Edges» Die-namics. At the bottom I affixed a piece of striped washi tape. I used the Create A Smile «Neutrals» enamel dots to finish off my card.
You will have time until June 30th, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great Sunday!
