DT Make it Crafty CAS Inspiration | Wish Upon A Star

Hi everyone,

today I'm over at the Make it Crafty Store Blog to share another Clean & Simple inspiration card.

This time I used one of the Chipboard Quote Blocks. I thought the Wish Upon A Star Chipboard was just perfect for a night sky scene.

I created my background by sponging some Distress Inks («Cracked Pistachio», «Peacock Feathers», «Faded Jeans», «Chipped Sapphire» and «Black Soot») together. I sprinkled on some water droplets and let it completely dry before adding some white dots to mimic my stars.

The quote block and the two stars (from the Shooting Stars Elements Chipboard Set) were covered with two layers of white embossing powder.

At the bottom of my card I put on a My Favorite Things «Skyline Border» die-cut made from black cardstock.
