Good morning everyone,
we have a new theme for the Everybody-Art-Challenge and it's «Book Page or a piece of it». I created a sympathy card. I have a hard time to make them since it's always for such a sad cause :o(
I didn't use a real book page but instead I digged out some of my favorite My Mind's Eye design papers. I went with neutrals for this card. The striped paper was adhered to a kraft top folding card base. I distressed the edges of the text paper with a Tim Holtz tool and bended the corners a bit to give it some dimension. Then I heat embossed the beautiful «Fancy Feathers» from Clearly Besotted Stamps in white and fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment from WPlus9 («Very Vintage Greetings») in black and added some black enamel dots and a little red heart as my only pop of color.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi everyone,
it's time again for our monthly «Same but different» challenge. Do you want to know more about this challenge? Please click HERE.
This time we used the «Life Is Good» stamp set from Lawn Fawn:
And here is my take on these fun stamps:
I really got inspired by this gorgeous card from Elena Roussakis. So I created a little beach scene by masking off the palm trees and the sand hill. I did some Copic coloring and sponged the sky background with Simon Says Stamp inks («Sea Glass» and «Audrey Blue»).
The polaroid frame was cut using the «Say Cheese» die from Lawn Fawn. I stamped my custom sentiment (it means «Have a nice trip!») with the awesome LF «Milo's ABC» stamps. The polka dot DP and the striped hemp cord are also from Lawn Fawn.
If you have the same stamp set and get inspired by our challenge, feel free to play it with us! Leave a direct link to your project in the comment field below (No back links, please! It will be funnier to see new creations!). You can also upload your cards to our Same but different challenge Flickr gallery!
Once again, we want to thank Stéphanie for joining our last challenge!
Now hop over to Francine to see her awesome creation.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Hello peeps,
this week there's a sketch over at the Everybody-Art-Challenge:
And here's my take on it:
One of my goals for this year was to use more of my older supplies. So I grabbed the cute «Nesting» stamp set from The Cat's Pajamas and the «Latte» paper pad from DCWV. I really like the linen texture and the colors of these papers. I heat embossed the nest in brown on a piece of vellum and stamped the bird in «Cockleshell» from WPlus9 to match may DP. I then fussy cut both and adhered them to a cream tag that I created with a Stampin' Up! punch and my yellow Corner Chomper (3/8") from We R Memory Keepers.
The sentiment is white embossed and I die-cut a little banner. I embellished my card with a Prima Marketing flower and some pearls. The paper lace behind the tag is from Basic Grey and the striped ribbon on the tag is from my stash.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful spring day!

Hello everyone,
it's the 15th of the month and time for the new bastel-traum.ch Challenge.
The challenge will run until May 15th, 8:55 am CET.
I created a card using the right vertical line: Flower – Embossing – Wood – Yellow.
At first, I ran my kraft card base through my Cuttlebug with a striped embossing folder from Darice to create some texture. Then I die-cut a piece of ivory cardstock using my beloved stitched dies from Simon Says Stamp. I also created a circle window with the stitched detail on the outside and adhered the panel using foam tape. I stamped the gorgeous flower from the Clearly Besotted Stamps «Fresh Flowers» stamp set and did some Copic coloring. I fussy cut the flower leaving a small white border and placed it right into the window with foam tape, too. Love the dimension it creates.
For the sentiment I die-cut this beautiful scripty word «Sending» from SSS Cherry Wood Veneer Paper and also two layers of white cardstock and stacked them together. I did the same with the little heart. They kinda look like stickers or chipboard embellishments. Then I stamped the «Hugs & Kisses» from the «Fresh Flowers» stamp set on a strip of vellum and heat embossed it in white. I cut a little banner and carefully glued it behind the «Sending» die cut. Finally, I added some «Sparkling Clear» and «Lemon Merinque» sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and called it done ;o)

Good morning,
it's Tuesday again and we have a new theme over at the Everybody-Art-Challenge – we want to see some «Pearls» on your creations.
Only a few weeks ago, I already created this card for the Same but different challenge using the beautiful «Doodlie-do» stamp set by Papertrey Ink.
Since the stamps were still mounted to my Fiskars stamp press, I decided to re-create the card because I really liked the arrangement. This time I heat embossed the flowers in «Cameo Coral» from Stampin' Up! on a piece of Bazzill «Taffy» cardstock. Then I die-cut the word «Happy» («Tipped Top Dies» by Papertrey Ink) directly from my panel. Below that negative I stamped and heat embossed the «birthday» sentiment from the PTI «Keep it Simple: Birthday» stamp set.
I adhered my panel to a «Cameo Coral» card base using lots of foam tape. To comply to the challenge theme, I added some matching Doodlebug pearls.

Hi everyone,
Zoe from Make it Crafty is currently having a Design Team Call. This brand new team will be focusing on Clean and Simple cards.
I really like that idea to create cards by combining her gorgeous images with a clean and simple design. I will take the chance to apply because I love coloring characters and am doing more CAS cards lately.
And here is the card I made:
Therefore I chose one of my favorite Make it Crafty images – «Tress Joyful». This little beauty is available in rubber and also as a digi stamp. I already used her on this card last year and she is so much fun to color. Love her happy pose and that awesome hair.
I colored her with Distress markers and then masked her off to create the background with the My Favorite Things «Sun Ray» stencil and Simon Says Stamp inks («Audrey Blue» and «Sea Glass»). For the sentiment I die-cut the Papertrey Ink «hello» from sparkly red glitter cardstock and two layers white cardstock and stacked them together for a little bit dimension.

Good morning peeps,
hope you spent some wonderful Easter days. We were even surprised by snow but now I wish for Spring!
The new theme for the Everybody-Art-Challenge is «Sequins». They are just perfect to embellish a card.
For my birthday card I used the beautiful «Painted Flowers» stamp set by Altenew. To be honest, I had several attempts to get these single images layered. But I so love the look of these pretty blooms and with a bit of practice it went much better.
I covered the «Happy» die cut («Tipped Top Dies» by Papertrey Ink) with two coats of clear embossing powder and stamped the birthday sentiment underneath («Say It In Style» by Clearly Besotted Stamps). To finish my card, I added only three sequins because I didn't want to overload my design.
I'm entering my card to the following challenges:
Naughty Or Nice Challenge
NON 14 : In Bloom
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Happy Birthday

Good morning everyone,
I hope you are having a great time with your family and friends on Easter.
Today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Butterflies and/or Dragonflies».
I love to do watercoloring lately and used my Distress Inks for this happy background. At first, I heat embossed the butterfly from Inkadinkado (designed by Brenda Walton) in white. Then I wet the area around the butterfly and added three different colors by loosely dabbing my brush. I also did some fun splatters.
The sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps and I cut a little banner and popped it up with foam tape. To embellish my card I added my beloved enamel dots.
This challenge runs until April 30th, 2015 and you can win a voucher with a value of CHF 20.– for the Stempelgarten Online Shop.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful Easter sunday!
