Hi crafty peeps,
today I want to share a wedding card that I made using Simon Says Stamp products and the Emboss Resist technique.
I stamped the beautiful SSS «Emma Background» in VersaMark and heat embossed it in white. Then I did some light-handed blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade).
Next, I die cut the gorgeous SSS «love» word from foiled cardstock («Rose Gold» by Bazzill) and the «bubble» layer underneath from white cardstock. The sub sentiment (WPlus9 «Happy Mail») was white heat embossed on a strip of foiled cardstock as well.
Finally, I decorated my card with Pretty Pink Posh «Rose Gold» sequins and selfmade droplets which were made with WOW! «Melt-It!» embossing powder.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Anja

Hello everyone,
I'm happy to be back with another card for the current My Favorite Things Camp Create.
On Day 2 it's all about Masking. I love to use this technique in combination with ink blending.
I created a glittery and ink blended background for this cutie from the Birdie Brown «Magical Unicorns» set which was colored with Copics.
I cut a circle from Inkadinkado stamping mask paper and adhered the negative part to my white panel of cardstock. Next, I blended together the two Distress Oxide Inks «Broken China» and «Cracked Pistachio». I sprinkled on some water droplets to lift some of the color.
When everything was completely dry, I adhered the masking paper circle over my ink blending. I put the «Sun Ray» stencil on top and fixed it with washi tape. Then I carefully pressed my VersaMark ink pad across the openings of the stencil. After removing the stencil, I heavily poured the gorgeous WOW! «Under the Sea» embossing glitter over it and heat set everything. I love all the sparkle which matches the colors of the Distress Oxide Inks perfectly.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a piece of black cardstock and cut it with one of the «Stitched Sentiment Strips» Die-namics. The unicorn and sentiment banner were adhered with foam tape. To finish off my card, I added three star shaped sequins rom my stash.
Although I won't be able to participate in all five crafts, I'm proud of my second Camp Create badge.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hi peeps,
I'm happy that the My Favorite Things Camp Create is back again with fun techniques and lots of inspiration.
The craft for Day 1 is the Inlaid Die Cutting technique which I like because the card will be flat and mail-friendly.
I came up with this card using MFT Die-namics only – there was no stamping and coloring involved ;-)
At first, I used the retired «Chevron Stripes» die and cut it from four different colors of cardstock. Next, I alternately adhered all the die-cuts on a piece of thin paper. The heart is from the «TRANSFORM-ables Heart Full of Love» Die-namics set which is retired, too. I carefully placed it over my chevron stripes and run it through my die cutting machine.
For the sentiment, I chose the «Hugs» from the «Words for Friends» set and cut it right out of the middle of my chevron striped heart. I also cut the word from white cardstock. With the two rounded and stitched rectangle dies from the «Blueprints 31» set, I was able to create a framed card. Therefore, I temporarily attached both of the dies with Micropore tape before die cutting them once from white and a second time from blue cardstock. I took the inner white piece and die cut the heart out of the middle.
Finally, the fun part could begin – the assembling/inlaying of all the die-cuts. I prepared a top-folding card base in the same size as the blue frame and covered the whole front with adhesive. Then I inlaid the white piece with the heart opening. Next, I inlaid my chevron heart into the negative space of the white cardstock and also added the white die-cut letters.
I love that in the end there's one layer and the card has no bulk. To finish it off, I added some matching enamel dots and Nuvo «Gloss White» Crystal Drops.
Here's the first Camp Create Badge that I've earned.
I'm also entering the current MFT Color Challenge 75.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone,
it's the 15th of the month and this means we have a new challenge over at the bastel-traum.ch Blog: Anything Goes.
This challenge will run until September 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).
I went with the Clean and Simple style and created this card using the gorgeous floral stamp from the Concord & 9th «Hello Lovely» set.
I stamped it in VersaMark at the top of a piece of coral cardstock and simply heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Love this tone-on-tone look. I also heat embossed the German sentiment (which means «Congratulations»; Dani Peuss Klartext-Stempel «Glückwunsch») in white.
To finish off my card, I added some small Nuvo «Morning Dew» Crystal Drops which dry perfectly clear.
With my card, I'm taking part at the Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #12: Anything Goes.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Saturday,
not much crafting lately, but we have a brand-new theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge – «Summertime».
I made a fun summer card using this cutie from the MFT Birdie Brown «Penguins in Paradise» stamp set.
One of my crafty goals this year is to use more of my hoarded patterned papers. I picked the «Lovely Day» paper pad by American Crafts and created a little beach scene. For the penguins shorts and the ball I did some Paper Piecing.
The palm tree was made with dies from the MFT «Beach Scene Builder Scene» Die-namics. The «HOT» sentiment on the little sign comes from the «Label Maker Love» set.
You will have time until August 31st, 2017 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:
A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fantastic weekend!
