DT Stempelgarten Challenge October

05.10.2017

Good morning,

Phew! Time goes by really fast these days and we have already October! There's a new and fun theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge: «Spooky».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I created this Halloween card combining some cute My Favorite Things stamps with a detailed Impression Obsession die and a Distress Ink night sky.

For the dark background, I blended together the Distress Inks «Black Soot», «Chipped Sapphire» and «Seedless Preserves». To give it a bit of texture, I sprinkled on some water droplets. Next, I cut a spooky scene from black glitter cardstock using the Impression Obsession «Halloween Hill» die. I put small pieces of yellow cardstock behind the windows and the pumpkin. I also did some shading with Copics so it looks as if the lights were glowing.

To create the circle window, I used a die from the MFT «Starry Circle» set and cut it from white cardstock. I added another stitched detail by using the rectangle die from the «Blueprints 29» set. I adhered the glitter die-cut behind my window opening and for more dimension, I popped everything up with foam tape.

I stamped and colored the cat and pumpkin images from the adorable Birdie Brown «Witch Way Is The Candy?» set. The sentiment was heat embossed with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder.

You will have time until October 31st, 2017 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge December

05.12.2016

Good morning,

it's time for a new theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge – this month we invite you to create a project using «Fir tree and/or twigs».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

For my CAS Christmas card I made a little winter scene with dies, a stencil and a sentiment stamp.

To create my background, I took a piece of Stampin' Up! «Indigo Blue» cardstock and sponged «Unicorn» white pigment ink through the Simon Says Stamp «Falling Snow» stencil. Next, I cut the trees from white cardstock using the Impression Obsession «Fir Tree Border» die. I stamped the Memory Box «Merry Christmas» sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it with «Metallic Copper» powder from WOW!.

To give it some dimension, I popped up the die-cut panel with foam tape. The cute deers were cut from wood veneer paper with the Poppystamps «Playful Fawns» dies. I also added a tiny red heart.

You will have time until December 31st, 2016 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

I'm joining the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme Anything Goes.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great start into the new week!

DT Make it Crafty Inspiration | Halloween Cat

30.10.2016

Hi everyone,

tomorrow is Halloween and although we don't celebrate it here, I created this card using Make it Crafty Digi Stamps.

I chose the cute Black Cat Digi Stamp and combined it with the fun hat from the Halloween Witch Esmeralda in my photo editing software. I colored the image with my Copics and fussy cut it.

For the starry night background, I did some Ink Blending with Distress Inks («Black Soot», «Chipped Sapphire», «Seedless Preserves») and added lots of white paint splatters. Next, I cut a spooky scene from black cardstock using an Impression Obsession die. I also die cut the moon from yellow cardstock (Lawn Fawn «Spooktacular») and did some shading with Copics.

Finally, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn «Spooktacular» set and the Mini Stars Chipboard Tinklings, too.

I'm joining the current Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great Sunday!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge October

05.10.2015

Hi everyone,

we have a new theme for the Stempelgarten Challenge – this month it's all about «Dies».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I created a Baby card for a sweet little boy using dies from Impression Obsession (Stork), My Favorite Things (Cross-Stitched Rectangle) and Simon Says Stamp (Baby).

The patterned paper in this beautiful turquoise color is from Bazzill Basics Paper. I die-cut the word «baby» from silver foil cardstock and heat embossed the little stamped «hello» (also from SSS). I added silver star sequins and a tiny die-cut star around the sentiment.

This challenge will run until October 31st, 2015 and you can win a voucher with a value of CHF 20.– for the Stempelgarten Online Shop.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge June

05.06.2015

Good morning peeps,

Today starts the new Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Flowers».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I really stamped my heart out on this card. Flowers + Stripes + Inks = Pure Joy!

My inspiration came from this beautiful card by MFT DT member Julie Dinn. I really love the color scheme and her arrangement of flowers.

I used some fabulous stamps, inks and a die from My Favorite Things. I combined the «Modern Blooms» with some smaller images from the «Desert Bouquet» stamp set. These flower building sets are so much fun! The handwritten sentiment and hearts are from the «True Friends» stamp set and I stamped them in Versafine «Onyx Black».

For the first time I tried the MFT Dye Inks. I used «Peach Bellini», «Coral Crush» and «Persimmon». The warm grey inks are from Simon Says Stamp: «Fossil» and «Cobblestone».

The border die is from the «Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics» set. For the background I used the Impression Obsession «Thick Stripes» Cover-a-Card stamp.

This challenge will run until June 30th, 2015 and you can win a voucher with a value of CHF 20.– for the Stempelgarten Online Shop.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fantastic day!

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge November

15.11.2014

Good morning everyone,
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
it's time for the bastel-traum.ch Challenge with the new theme «Shaped cards».
The challenge runs until December 15th, 8:55 am CET.

I created a circle card for Christmas.

When I bought some patterned tapes (actually for gift wrapping) I immediately knew
I wanted to create a card background with them. I adhered them to white cardstock leaving just a little gasp between each strip. Then I cut out a circle using one of my Spellbinders dies. I also cut a round card base with the same circle die without cutting the top where the fold is meant to be. I adhered my panel with an angle so the strips are orientated diagonally. Since I love deers on my holiday cards, I cut two of those cuties using the «Deer Trio» dies from Impression Obsession. Because of the big pattern in the background I decided to add a vellum circle before attaching them to my card. I went a bit crazy with die cutting on this card ;o) and created this gorgeous white frame with the Marianne Design Craftables «Circle & Flower Stitch» die and another Spellbinders circle. For my sentiment I cut a banner with a Simon Says Stamp «Small Folded Banner» die out of red cardstock. I slightly curved my text stamp (Stampin' Up!) to fit the banner and heat embossed it in white. I adhered it using foam tape. To finish my card I added some metallic red sequins ans white enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

DT-Card Stempelgarten Challenge September

05.09.2014

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben,

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/
