Sunny Studio Stamps • Summer Release • Scalloped Fence Dies

24.06.2021

Hello everyone,

mixing and matching products is so much fun! Today, I incorporated the Scalloped Fence Dies into my little fairy scene.

My card is a bit larger than the regular A2 size and measures 5 7/8" x 4 1/2". The patterned paper from the Spring Fling 6x6 Paper pack was the perfect fit for this scene. I die cut the fence pieces from white cardstock and assembled them – love the details and dimension. I also cut the grass border included in the Picket Fence Die set from green cardstock and adhered it at the bottom of the card.

Next, I stamped the sweet Garden Fairy images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. I adhered the mushroom house and fence flat and popped up the other images with foam tape.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it with Salvaged Patina Distress Embossing Glaze. Finally, I applied some Crystal Stickles to the fairy wings.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder

17.06.2021

Hi everyone,

I love to add texture using embossing folders. This time, I stepped it up by dry embossing a Gel Plate printed background.

I started off with a white A2 card base. For my background, I applied Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink with a brayer to my Gelly Arts gel printing plate and put a piece of white heavyweight cardstock on top slightly rubbing across with my fingers. I really like the soft blending of these gorgeous colors. I ran it through my die-cutting machine with the Moroccan Circles embossing folder and added small white paint splatters.

Next, I stamped a couple of images from the Pink Peonies set in matching colors and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them with liquid glue as well as foam tape for a bit of dimension. The 'hello' sentiment (Beach Buddies) was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a white cardstock strip and heat embossed in silver. Finally, I embellished my card with three Snow White Crystals around the floral cluster.

Sunny Studio Stamps • Summer Release • Beach Buddies

10.06.2021

Hello everyone,

Summer is here and today's card features the adorable Beach Buddies which I combined with some fun accessories.

I went with a non-ordinary card size (6"w x 4"h) because I wanted to use one of my all-time favorite dies – the Staggered Circle Die which is perfect to pair with cute critters. I cut it from a blue Sleek Stripes Paper as well as from cream cardstock. I inlaid the cream stitched circles into the window openings of the striped paper.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

I picked additional accessories from the following sets:
drink: Tiki Time and Dies
sun: Balloon Rides Stamps and Dies
starfish: Best Fishes and Dies
flip flops: Sealiously Sweet and Dies

The sentiments were stamped in VersaMark Ink onto black cardstock strips and heat embossed in white. I scattered the images and sentiment strips all over my card and added Cornflower Blue Jewels as a finishing touch.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a day full of sunshine!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Summer Release • Candy Shoppe

03.06.2021

Hi everyone,

today I have this literally sweet birthday card for you featuring the fun Candy Shoppe Stamps. All these candy themed images inspired me to come up with a little wagon made from die-cuts.

I used the scalloped dies from the Sweet Treats House Add-On set for the roof and border. I masked off every other scallop and sponged on Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink to create the stripes. For the wheels, I cut the half round window die twice from brown cardstock circles. I also added a piece of pink striped paper (Dots & Stripes Pastels Paper) to a white cardstock rectangle for the wagon's bottom part.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. Two of the longer striped candy sticks were used to combine the roof and bottom part of the wagon. I adhered the wagon pieces to a light blue card base and arranged all the sweets inside it. For a little bit of sparkle, I applied Crystal Stickles to the right side of the pastel rainbow cotton candy.

I really like the oversized 'Sweet' word which I stamped in Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink and triple heat embossed with clear embossing powder for a raised and glossy effect. The matching die is awesome, too! The birthday sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a thin black cardstock strip and heat embossed in white. I finished off the card by rounding the bottom card corners with a punch and adding three white clay hearts.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a sweet day!
