Stamps only

Stamps + Dies Combo

First, I created an A2 landscape card base from white cardstock and applied Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the background. For the sandy hill, I used one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and a piece of patterned paper from the MSTN Sand, Surf, & Sky Paper Pad. The grass, was done by blending Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink. Then I used one of the Grassy Edges Die-namics to die cut the top.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. Since I didn't have the coordinating dies, I fussy cut everything out with scissors ;-) I assembled the scene by adhering the images as well as the sand and grass die cut elements. Finally, I stamped one of the sentiments at the top right using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a ton of fun!

MFT Stamps • September Release Spotlight Day 4

Hi sweeties,

we've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things September Release Spotlight. Check out the MFT Blog for another round of inspiration from the DT.

Today I'm highlighting the In Awe of Ewe stamp set and created another square card with it.

First, I made a card base from white cardstock measuring 4 3/8" x 4 3/8". For the night sky background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers). To create a bit of texture, I sprinkled on water droplets which I dabbed off with a paper towel. I also added white paint splatters with a small brush. The grassy hill was done by die cutting a piece of  Field Day Card Stock with one of the Sand and Surf Die-namics and inking the top edge with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and assembled the card by adhering everything to the card base.

MFT Stamps • September Release Spotlight Day 3

22.09.2023

Hello crafty friends,

it's Day 3 of the My Favorite Things September Release Spotlight and today we have some great die sets to showcase.

I'm sharing a card made with the fun Crafty Tools Die-namics and the versatile Tool Talk sentiment set.

I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down a Blue Beyond Card Stock panel. I used one of the Torn Paper Edges Die-namics at an angle to cut off the bottom. I adhered it to the card base and stamped one of the sentiments underneath with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Next, I die cut the tools from white, black and colored cardstock and assembled them. I added a couple of details to some of them with Copic markers. I adhered them at an angle as well.

MFT Stamps • September Release Spotlight Day 2

21.09.2023

Hi peeps,

we're continuing with the reviews for the My Favorite Things September Release. Today I'm showcasing the super adorable YUZU Sweet Honey Bear stamp set on a square Birthday card.

First, I cut and scored a card base from Kraft Card Stock measuring 4.25" x 4.25". On a white cardstock panel I blended a soft background with Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. For the grass, I applied Peeled Paint onto a white cardstock strip and die cut it with one of the Grassy Edges Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment on the left of the grassy hill using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

I like that by using the Frame Builder Die-namics you are also able to create a square frame. For some dimension I die cut three layers from white cardstock and stacked them on top of each other.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and assembled the scene. Finally, I stamped the two small bee trails in black.

MFT Stamps • September Release Spotlight Day 1

20.09.2023

Hello everyone,

have you seen the My Favorite Things September Release that went live yesterday? For the next couple of days we will do a review and share more inspiration with the new products.

I had so much fun creating today's Spotlight project featuring the cute JB Touchdown! stamps, Letterboard Die-namics, Letterboard Alphabet Die-namics and Frame Builder Die-namics.

First, I die cut the letterboard from Sno Cone Cardstock. For the frame, I die cut three layers from white cardstock and stacked them on top of each other. I spelled out a custom sentiment using the alphabet dies and colored cardstock (Cotton Candy, Grapesicle, Tropical Teal and Grape Jelly). I tried to evenly place the letters onto the board ;-)

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and popped them up with foam squares. To finish off the card, I added matching stars and a heart.

For a bit of texture, I added ink spatters with a small paint brush. After carefully removing the mask, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Happy Monday everyone,

At the top half I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey, Dried Marigold) letting the colors fade into white. For the grassy hills, I used Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and assembled the scene. Finally, I stamped one of the sentiments in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

MFT Stamps • Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit • Spotlight

06.09.2023

Hello sweeties,

today I'm sharing another card made with the Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit that has been released yesterday.

In addition to the Card Kit there are also complementary add-ons available. On my card, I used the Pressed Poinsettias stamp set and created a background.

First, I created an A2 top folding card from Red Hot Card Stock. On a white cardstock panel, I randomly stamped the blooms, leaves and berry stems using Distress Oxide Inks. For a more modern and non-traditional look, I added Aqua and Peach to the color scheme. The centers of the poinsettias were heat embossed in white. I trimmed down the background to be slightly smaller than the card base.

One of the Christmas Wishes greetings was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of red cardstock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut it out with the coordinating die. Finally, I popped it up with thin foam strips.

MFT Stamps • Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit • Release Day

05.09.2023

Hi peeps,

today we're introducing the new Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit that is now available for purchase!

The price for this coordinated collection of products is 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

For today's card, I picked the gorgeous Winter Poinsettias Die-namics. Not only do you get two sizes of poinsettias but there are also a couple of leaves and berry stems included.

I started off with a white A2 card base and did some ink blending in the background with Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. For a bit of interest, I added Peacock Feathers spatters with a small paint brush.

Next, I die cut the layered blooms, leaves and sprigs from colored cardstock (Red Hot, Amarena Cherry, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Field Day, Jalapeño Popper, Tropical Teal, Kraft). I arranged them at the bottom half of the card and adhered everything with liquid glue. The larger poinsettia has been popped up with foam tape.

I stamped one of the Christmas Wishes sentiments in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of white cardstock and heat embossed it in gold. Guess what? There are coordinating dies available – love it! To finish off my card, I embellished it with three gold glitter enamel dots.

Here's a peek at the September Card Kit:
