MFT Stamps • August Jenoblade Release Spotlight

23.08.2023

Hello friends,

today I have another inspiration card for you showcasing one of the new sets from the bonus MFT Jenoblade Release. It's called JB Stuck Together and comes with seven sweet potted cacti and succulents.

I started off with a white A2 landscape card base and did some faded background ink blending with Distress Oxide Ink in Scattered Straw. I trimmed down a strip of chevron patterned paper from the MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad and adhered it at the bottom.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the plants and popped them up with foam tape.

The punny sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock rectangle and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered it with foam tape as well.

MFT Stamps • August Release Spotlight Day 4

19.08.2023

Hello again,

we've reached the final day of the My Favorite Things August Release Review and I'm sharing another cute card.

The costumed babies from the RAM Sweetest Trick or Treaters stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller are just irresistible!

To start off, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. I picked a patterned paper from the MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad and die cut it with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

Next, I stamped the little ones, colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For a bit of dimension, I adhered the images with thin foam squares.

The sentiment was stamped in clear sticky VersaMark Ink onto a piece of black cardstock and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I embellished the card with three enamel dots.

MFT Stamps • August Release Spotlight Day 3

18.08.2023

Happy Friday everyone,

it's always fun to discover the endless possibilites that come with every release! This time I did a monochromatic card with the SY Butterflies and Blooms stamp set by Stacey Yacula.

First, I created a white A2 top-folding card base and trimmed down a Kraft Card Stock panel. I stamped the sentiment, flowers, butterflies and trails in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed everything with clear embossing powder.

To created a stencil, I die cut the Tall Grass Die-namics from masking paper and carefully applied Kraft Premium Dye Ink at the bottom of the panel. I finished the card by adding three matching gems.

MFT Stamps • August Release Spotlight Day 2

17.08.2023

Hi friends,

we're continuing with the reviews for the My Favorite Things August Release. Today I'm showcasing the I Chews You stamp set which is perfect for masculine cards.

First, I created an A2 landscape card base from Kraft Card Stock. I trimmed down the swirly paper from the MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad to be slightly smaller.

Next, I cut out a white cardstock panel using one of the Watercolor Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I created the background with the help of the Cloud Stencil, the Drifts & Hills Stencil and Distress Oxides Inks (Salvaged Patina, Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover).

I stamped the critters and trees in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with liquid glue.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip. I heat embossed it in white and cut it out with a fishtail banner die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set. Finally, I adhered the banner next to the adorable hedgehog.

MFT Stamps • August Release Day

15.08.2023

Hi peeps,

I have some great news for you! The My Favorite Things August Release is now available for purchase! Please check out the MFT Blog for today's inspiring DT projects.

Although Summer is still in full swing, I created my very first Halloween card for this year using the Delightful Halloween stamp set by Jenoblade, our newest illustrator. I paired the adorable costumed critters with the MSTN Spooky Season Paper Pad and the Watercolor Circle STAX Die-namics.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down the purple striped paper to the same size and cut out three windows using two sizes of the watercolor circles. Then I picked three patterned papers that I adhered underneath the window panel which I popped up with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the critters in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies and adhered the images with foam squares as well. The bats were stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment in clear sticky VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I adhered the cats and accessories before finishing off the card with the sentiment stamped in black at the top left.
