MFT Stamps • February Release Countdown Day 4

26.02.2024

Happy new week everyone,

we've reached the final Countdown Day for the MFT February Release that will go live tomorrow at 10 am EST! Check out the MFT Blog for today's Design Team projects.

I created another sweet birthday featuring the SY Greatest Present Stamp & Die Duo (illustrated by Stacey Yacula) and the Diamond Frames Die-namics.

First, I created a regular-sized A2 card base from white cardstock. I cut out a purple patterned paper from the Poppin' Polka Dots Paper Pad with the largest largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics set. The diamond frame was cut twice from Summer Splash Card Stock and the inlaid diamond piece from Sno Cone Card Stock. I adhered them to the center of the card.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, did some Copic coloring and used the matching dies to cut them out. I partially stamped the sentiment onto a Black Licorice Card Stock strip and heat embossed it in white. I cut it out with a narrow fishtail banner die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set. For a bit of dimension, I popped up the images and sentiment banner with thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • February Release Countdown Day 2

24.02.2024

Hello sweet friends,

it's Countdown Day 2 for the My Favorite Things February Release. Make sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for some product sneaks and inspiring DT projects.

On today's CAS birthday card, I combined the Smart Mask - Horizontal Diagonal High/Low Strip Stencil with one of the cuties from the JB Birthday Bites Stamp & Die Duo.

I started off with a white landscape card base measuring a bit less than the regular A2 size. I trimmed down another white cardstock panel to the same size and temporarily attached the stencil to it. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides in a pastel cotton candy color scheme (Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet). The sentiment from the Essential Birthday Messages set was stamped in VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the kitty with the cake in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out. For a bit of dimension, I adhered it with foam tape. I finished off the card with a small aqua heart die-cut.

Please visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

MFT Stamps • Flower Fusion Card Kit • Release Day

16.01.2024

Hi peeps,

the gorgeous My Favorite Things Flower Fusion Card Kit is now available for purchase. The price for this coordinated collection of products is 25% off the cost of buying the elements separately.

Today I have a more elegant monochromatic card to share. It features the awesome add-ons that go with the kit.

I started off with an A2 card base made from Cement Gray Card Stock. Next, I stamped the intricate Cascading Diamonds Background in Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink onto a white cardstock panel. I trimmed it down to be slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to the card base.

The Sketchy Blooms stamp set is so pretty! I picked one of the floral images and stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Cement Gray Card Stock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut it out with one of the Stitched Diamond STAX Die-namics. The sentiment from the Essential Messages stamp set has been white embossed as well onto a Blue Beyond Card Stock strip. Finally, I embellished my card with matching enamel dots and a tiny heart.

Happy Monday everyone,

today we're introducing the My Favorite Things Flower Fusion Card Kit that will be available tomorrow at 10 am EST.

This beautiful kit lets you create colorful floral cards with clever stencils, a gorgeous word die and a versatile sentiment stamp set in a pretty font.

MFT Stamps • January Release Spotlight

10.01.2024

Hello sweeties,

the My Favorite Things January Release went live yesterday and today we're shining a spotlight on the new products.

It's getting cute again ;-) I picked the YUZU Darling Dragons Stamp & Die Duo for today's inspiration card.

I cut down a gorgeous plaid patterned paper from the Orange Sherbet Paper Pad to be slightly smaller and adhered it to the card base. With one of the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics I cut out a piece of Grapesicle Card Stock. At the top I added a white scalloped border and adhered the banner with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the dragon in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and did some Copic coloring. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image. The sentiment was stamped it VersaMark Ink onto a Gravel Gray Card Stock strip and I heat embossed it in white. I again used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment strip.

MFT Stamps • January Release Day

09.01.2024

Hi there,

the big day is finally here! You can now purchase all the new goodies from the fab My Favorite Things January Release!

On today's card, I combined two of my favorite crafty techniques – Copic Coloring and Ink Blending with Distress Oxides. The images and sentiment are part of the lovely Paper Planes Stamp & Die Duo.

First, I created a landscape A2 card base from Lazy Day Card Stock. I die cut a white cardstock panel with the largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics set. Next, I placed the Watercolor Rectangle Stencil on top and secured it slighly at an angle. I did an ink blended sky using Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I removed the stencil and let the blending dry completely before stamping the sentiment in VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

The images were stamped in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. Finally, I assembled my little scene using liquid glue and added a purple enamel heart.

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 3

07.01.2024

Hello everyone,

only two more days until the My Favorite Things January Release hits the store! Please hop over to the MFT Blog for some inspiration.

I just love creating cards with cute critters! So today's card features the Unbearably Sweet Stamp & Die Duo.

First, I cut and scored a landscape A2 card base from white cardstock. I'm so happy that the color Lazy Day is back and had to use it right away. I trimmed down a cardstock panel in this gorgeous blue color and ran it through my die-cutting machine with the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. In a second pass I also cut out a window using the LJD Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics. For a bit of texture, I splattered the whole panel with blue ink.

I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade) directly on the card base where the window and image will be. After letting it dry, I popped up the Lazy Day Card Stock panel with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, did some Copic coloring and cut everything out with the coordinating dies. Have you seen the teeny tiny ant which I stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink? Finally, I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark Ink onto a Licorice Black Card Stock banner and heat embossed it in white.

Check out the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a cozy Sunday!

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 2

06.01.2024

Hi crafty friends,

it's Countdown Day 2 for the My Favorite Things January Release and we have some extra cute products to share today!

I made two tags using the new and versatile Tall Tag Die-namics along with the YUZU Lovely Lions Stamp & Die Duo.

For the tag bases I used patterned paper (Feelin' Festive Paper Pad, Fun Fall Color Blends Paper Pad) and an additional layer of cardstock for sturdiness. The tag toppers were die cut from Red Hot Card Stock and Carribean Sea Card Stock. And for the reinforcements I chose Black Licorice and again Red Hot Card Stock.

Next, I stamped the images (the leaves are from the YUZU Darling Dragons stamp set) in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

I stamped two sentiments from the Smooches stamp set in VersaMark Ink onto Black Licorice Card Stock and heat embossed them in white. Finally, I assembled the tags which will make a sweet little gift for a loved one ❤️

MFT Stamps • January Release Countdown Day 1

05.01.2024

Hello everyone,

we're shaking things up for the upcoming My Favorite Things January Release and are moving back to a Countdown. Customers love to see previews of what's coming and the Design Team is happy to share some inspiration before the new products will be available on Tuesday, January 9th at 10 am EST.

For today's teaser, I used the adorable JB Scent-sational Skunks Stamp & Die Duo to create a love-themed card.

First, I cut and scored an A2 card base from Black Licorice Card Stock. From a piece of masking paper I die cut the biggest of the Heart STAX Die-namics and adhered the neagtive to a white cardstock panel. I blended over the whole heart with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. Next, I applied Kitsch Flamingo over it using the Cloud Stencil. I carefully removed the mask and cut the panel with the largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics set.

This month some retired colors (cardstocks, inks and refills) are making their comeback! I die cut the top of a Carribean Sea Card Stock strip with one of the Grassy Edges Die-namics. I stamped the punny sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed in white. Next, I stamped the sweet skunks in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them to the card. The clouds were stamped in Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink to match the stenciled cloudy heart. I cut them out with the matching dies and added them to my little scene.

MFT Stamps • January Vault Release Spotlight

03.01.2024

Hi sweet friends,

we're shining a spotlight on the My Favorite Things January Vault Release that went live yesterday! Please hop over to the MFT Blog for today's DT inspiration.

I created a card with the Heart STAX Die-namics, the Mini Delicate Doilies Die-namics and a sentiment from the Candy Jar Companions stamp set.

I started off with a card base made from Gravel Gray Card Stock and die cut three of the intricate doilies from the same color for a subtle tone-on-tone look. Next, I die cut each of the hearts from another cardstock color (Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy and Sno Cone). I stacked them on top of each other and adhered them to the card base, slightly shifted to the right. I cut off the excess with my paper trimmer.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock stripe and I heat embossed it in white. I cut it out with a banner die from the Blueprints 28 Die-namics set which is another of the re-released products. Finally, I popped up the sentiment banner with thin foam squares.

MFT Stamps • December Release Spotlight Day 2

21.12.2023

Hi everyone,

we're reviewing the awesome new products of the My Favorite Things December Release. Please visit the MFT Blog for another round of DT inspiration.

Today I'm sharing a CAS Friendship card made with the Soda Pop Die-namics, Bottle Cap Die-namics and Soda Pop stamp set which comes with lots of punny sentiments.

I started off with a white A2 top-folding card base and cut one of the diagonal Black & White Stripes papers to the same size. I trimmed down another white cardstock panel to be a bit smaller.

Next, I die cut the bottle from white cardstock and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides (soda: Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry; bottle neck: Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina). For the bubbly look, I splattered on water droplets and dabbed them off with a paper towel. The word 'FIZZ' was stamped in Picked Raspberry onto the label die-cut and I heat embossed it in clear.

I adhered the bottle at an angle in the bottom left corner. With the help of masking, I partially stenciled some bubbles using the Heavy Snowfall Stencil and Kitsch Flamingo ink. The sentiment was stamped in crisp VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. As a little embellishment, I die cut a bottle cap and heart (Ripe Raspberry, Sno Cone and Brushed Silver Card Stock). For some extra shine, I covered the heart with NUVO Crystal Glaze.

I created a fun winter scene with the new Merry Moose stamp set and the playful In the Loop Background.

Today I'm highlighting the In Awe of Ewe stamp set and created another square card with it.

MFT Stamps • Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit • Spotlight

06.09.2023

Hello sweeties,

today I'm sharing another card made with the Christmas Poinsettias Card Kit that has been released yesterday.

In addition to the Card Kit there are also complementary add-ons available. On my card, I used the Pressed Poinsettias stamp set and created a background.

First, I created an A2 top folding card from Red Hot Card Stock. On a white cardstock panel, I randomly stamped the blooms, leaves and berry stems using Distress Oxide Inks. For a more modern and non-traditional look, I added Aqua and Peach to the color scheme. The centers of the poinsettias were heat embossed in white. I trimmed down the background to be slightly smaller than the card base.

One of the Christmas Wishes greetings was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of red cardstock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut it out with the coordinating die. Finally, I popped it up with thin foam strips.

Here's another look at the September Card Kit:
