Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Gingerbread House Dies

Hi everyone,

shaped cards are something special and so much fun to create. Today's card was made with the Gingerbread House Dies.

First, I die cut the house shadow base from cream cardstock. Next, I die cut all the elements from colored cardstock. The scalloped trims for the roof and windows as well as the bottom piece were cut from glitter cardstock. I sponged the edges of the kraft gingerbread house die-cut with brown ink and added some splatters with a paint brush. To decorate the top window, I picked the cute little bow from the Sweet Treat House Add-on Dies set.

Now comes the fun part of putting the gingerbread house together by adhering all the die-cuts. I covered the gumdrops with Crystal Stickles to match the glitter cardstock. To make the pink part of the peppermint candy shiny, I applied a coat of Glossy Accents. I also turned it into a lollipop by putting it on a stick.

Of course I had to decorate the house with one of the adorable Christmas Cookies. I stamped the gingerbread girl and heart cookie in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from the Bear Hugs set in VersaMark Ink onto a dark brown cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Lacy Snowflake Dies

Hello everyone,

today I'm sharing a shimmery winter card using the Lacy Snowflake Dies. They go perfectly with the snowflakes from the Snowflake Circle Frame Dies.

First, I started off with an A2 card base made from purple cardstock. Next, I created a watercolor background using Nuvo Shimmer Powders (Atlantis Burst and Blue Blitz) and Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet). I also added some shimmer spray to the whole background (see photo below).

To add some texture, I ran the dried background through my die cutting machine with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. I trimmed the panel down to be a bit smaller than A2 and adhered it to the card base.

The snowflakes were die cut from white glitter cardstock. I die cut a piece of vellum with the second largest of the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies. I stamped the scripty 'Happy New Year' sentiment from the Season's Greetings set in VersaMark Ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with some pretty WOW! Royal Crush Embossing Glitter. I used the coordinating word die to cut it out.

Finally, I assembled my card by scattering the snowflakes over the card. All the die-cuts are perfect to hide the adhesive behind the vellum semi-circle which I attached to the right side. I added some pearls and crystals as embellishments.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Holiday Express

Hi everyone,

crafting for the upcoming Christmas season has begun and today I'm sharing a card using the Holiday Express Stamps.

I picked the wonderful snowy scene from the Very Merry Paper pack, trimmed it down and adhered it to a card base. Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I love how you can tuck the critters as well as the holiday accessories inside the train.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a pink cardstock banner and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I created some dimension on my card by adhering most of the images and the sentiment banner with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a beautiful day!

Sunny Studio Stamps • Holiday Release • Forest Trees Stencils

Hello everyone,

today I'm back with a clean and simple Christmas card in pretty pinks using the fabulous Forest Trees Stencils.

I started off with an A2 landscape card base and die cut a white cardstock panel with the stitched rectangle included in the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies set. I also cut out a window using the largest of the Stitched Oval 2 Dies.

Next, I cut down a piece of smooth Bristol cardstock to go behind the window and started applying Distress Oxide Inks through the stencils. I wanted to create an ombré look and went from light to dark pink (Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves). I used all three stencils and one even twice to fill the whole panel. I let it dry before adding white and moonlight ink splatters with a small brush for a bit of snowfall. I adhered the stenciled panel directly to my card base and popped up the oval window frame with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I combined a die cut with a heat embossed text. The word 'merry' is included in the Christmas Garland Frame Die set. I cut it from silver glitter cardstock as well as white cardstock since it is quite delicate. I stamped the word 'christmas' from the Hedgey Holidays set in VersaMark Ink onto a small cardstock strip and white heat embossed it. To finish off the card, I adhered the sentiment in the middle and added three white star sequins around it.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing day!
