Sunny Studio Stamps 6th Birthday Blog Hop

I made a birthday card with the sweet Bear Hugs Stamps. I picked two of the All Is Bright Papers which work for non-holiday cards, too.

The focal point on my A2 card is the tag that I created with the Build-A-Tag #2 Dies. I decorated the top part with one of the new Icing Border Dies and hid the hole with a heart die-cut. I trimmed down the buffalo plaid paper with the second largest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and created a white frame with the help of the Frilly Frames Herringbone Dies.

Next, I stamped the images (the little present is included in the Holiday Express set) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I did some Copic coloring and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. I drew the balloon string with a black fineliner and fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment from the Plane Awesome set in VersaMark Ink onto black cardstock strips and white heat embossed it. Finally, I assembled the card and adhered the tag with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
