DT bastel-traum.ch Christmas Blog Hop

24.12.2017

Good morning peeps,

today I'm joining the special Christmas Blog Hop over at the bastel-traum.ch blog with this simple shaker card:

For the very first time, I made a vibrant background with Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Inks. They are so much fun to play with! I also added a bit of «Silver Metallic Mixative» to the blue tones.

I thought it would create a nice winter night sky inside of a little snow globe scene which I created with dies and a matching shaker pouch by My Favorite Things. I cut the «Our Town» die from grey cardstock and adhered it to my alcohol ink background. Next, I white heat embossed the santa sleigh image from Stampin' Up!. I filled the «Dome» shaker pouch with a variety of sequins and seed beads.

The white cardstock panel was cut with one of the «A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2» Die-namics. I heat embossed the sentiment from the «Hand Lettered Holiday» set with silver embossing powder by Ranger.

I invite you to hop along with us for some final Christmas inspiration – here is the complete Blog Hop list:

DT bastel-traum.ch Advent Calendar: Day 19

19.12.2017

Hi everyone,

did you know that there's an advent calendar over at the bastel-traum.ch blog? Each day one of the DT girls or a guest opens a door to show you some creative Christmas inspiration.

Today is my turn and I have a trio of quick projects for you which I made with fab products by Alexandra Renke and Nuvo.

For my first card, I die cut two layers of this beautiful sitting angel from white cardstock, stacked the die-cuts, adhered some Nuvo Glue Pen and covered the surface with Nuvo «Sunkissed Copper» Gilding Flakes.

I cut a square piece of patterned paper and heat embossed the sentiment (Renke Stempel «Weihnachtsgrüße deutsch») with WOW! «Metallic Copper» embossing powder on a strip of vellum. Finally, I added some Nuvo «Copper Penny» Crystal Drops.

On the second card, I did some stenciling (Renke Stencil «Sternenregen/Falling Stars») using the smooth and creamy Nuvo «Aquamarine» Embellishment Mousse.

Next, I die cut the angel wings and covered them (with the help of masking) partly with Embellishment Mousse and Gilding Flakes. I also die cut three circles (from carstock, patterned paper and vellum) and layered them on top of each other. Again, I heat embossed the sentiment in copper.

The last of today's projects is this little gift tag.

I used the tag die from the Avery Elle «Postage Stamp» set and stamped the stars and dots (Renke Stempel «Sterne mit Pünktchen») with pigment ink. Once again, I covered my deer die cut with Gilding Flakes – I really love this look! I heat embossed the sentiment onto a die cut banner which I popped up with foam tape. To finish off the tag, I pulled some Natural Jute String through the hole.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope I was able to inspire you to get some Last-minute Christmas projects done ;-)

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #60

15.12.2017

Good morning everyone,

are you busy preparing for Christmas? I definitely am! Today starts a new challenge over at the bastel-traum.ch blog: «Presents/Sugar-sweet» – just perfect to make some little gifts for your loved ones.
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
This challenge will run until January 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

I came up with this cute Christmas themed treat box:

Finally, I pulled out the fun Lawn Fawn «Scalloped Treat Box» die. I love how you can turn the box into a little house with the «Scalloped Treat Box Winter Add-On» dies. To decorate it, I used some small images from several stamp sets (puppy: «Let's Play», christmas hat and presents: «Cheerful Christmas», sentiments: «Tiny Tag Sayings»).

I covered the roof die-cut with Nuvo «Moonstone» Glimmer Paste – the sparkle is just amazing! I also added tiny Nuvo «Autumn Red» Crystal Drops to the die-cut wreath. I heat embossed one sentiment directly on the front of the small door and another on the inside (which shows up when you open the door). To put some snow on the die-cut trees, I simply draw some squiggly lines with a VersaMark pen and white heat embossed them.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge December

05.12.2017

Good morning peeps,

today starts the last Stempelgarten Challenge of the year. And since most of us are really busy right now, we have a simple theme for you this month: «Anything Goes».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

This adorable Whimsy Stamps «Balancing Elf» (illustrated by Krista Heij-Barber) made me giggle the moment I saw him.

I colored this cutie with my Copics and fussy cut him leaving a small white border. For the background, I cut a sheet of Lawn Fawn «Perfectly Plaid Christmas» patterned paper and adhered it to my top-folding card base. Next, I run some red cardstock through my die-cutting machine with the Sizzix/Tim Holtz «Holiday Knit» embossing folder. I also cut it with a stitched rectangle die from the My Favorite Things «Blueprints 29» set and popped it up with fun foam.

I gold heat embossed one of the «Snow Globe Sentiments» on a strip of white cardstock which I die cut with a die from the same «Blueprints 29» set. I adhered the little elf with foam tape and added golden sparkling enamel dots as well as wood veneer stars by Studio Calico.

You will have time until December 31st, 2017 to enter the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

I'm joining the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme «Anything Goes».

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Concord & 9th Blooms Fill-In Peach Birthday Card

04.12.2017

Hello everyone,

EEK! It's already December and I still have no Christmas cards to show. It was my sweet Grandma's birthday on Saturday and of course I made her a card. I was so excited to finally ink up the gorgeous Concord & 9th «Blooms Fill-in» stamp set.

I love that you're able to get a different look by simply changing up your ink colors. I've used Dye Inks by Altenew and Simon Says Stamp. I also heat embossed the berries in clear and the flower stems in gold.

For the birthday greeting, I cut a strip of 40lb vellum, stamped the German sentiment (Stampin' Up! «Landlust») in VersaMark and heat embossed it with WOW! «Metallic Gold Rich Pale» embossing powder.

I'm entering my card to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with the theme «Anything Goes».

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

Stampin' Up! Diamond Wedding Anniversary

22.11.2017

Hi peeps,

I really should be working on Christmas stuff, but made this little commission card for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary – that means 60 incredible years of marriage!

I used the gorgeous Stampin' Up! «Eclectic Layers» Thinlits dies and some My Favorite Things «Watercolor Wash» patterned papers. I die cut the diamond outline from golden glitter cardstock and stamped the cross design in Tsukineko Delicata «Golden Glitz»ink. The German sentiment (SU «Grußelemente») reads «Congrats» and I white heat embossed it on a small banner. To finish off my card, I adhered a couple of pretty Studio Katia «Iridescent Clear Crystals».

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #59

15.11.2017

Hello everyone,

today we have a brandnew challenge theme over at the bastel-traum.ch blog – «Winter/Christmas/Starshine».
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
This challenge will run until December 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

For my holiday card, I created a cute scene using the adorable critters from the Mama Elephant «Whimsical Winter» set.

I had so much fun stamping, Copic coloring and fussy cutting all the images! For my snowfall background, I combined some white splatters and Distress Inks («Broken China», «Tumbled Glass» and «Milled Lavender») which I blended together on a piece of Bristol cardstock. I also added three little die-cut hearts and some random Nuvo «White Blizzard» Glitter Drops which you unfortunately can't see on the photo.

To create the snow hills, I used two of the stitched Mama Elephant «Landscape Trio» dies and cut them from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the «Merry Greetings» set on the front snowhill and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. For some dimension, I popped it up with foam tape. Finally, I adhered all the stamped images to finish off my winter scene.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge November

07.11.2017

Hi everyone,

on Sunday started the latest Stempelgarten Challenge with the theme «Christmas is coming».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

A bit later than usual, I'm showing you my very first Christmas card for this year. I've chosen the adorable puppy from the My Favortite Things Birdie Brown «Happy Pawlidays» stamp set and colored him with Copics.

Sometimes I struggle with my mojo, so I'm very thankful for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge ;-)

I'm entering the current challenge #357 – this inspiring sketch really helped me to create my card layout:

For the background panel, I used the Taylored Expressions «Cable Knit» embossing folder to add some texture to the white cardstock. I hand cut the fishtail banner from polka dotted paper (MFT «Dots & Stripes Neutral» 6x6 Paper Pack». Next, I die cut one of the «Single Stitch Line Square Frames» from red glitter cardstock and put a piece of patterned paper (MFT «Tranquil Textures» 6x6 Paper Pack) behind it.

I white heat embossed one of the «Snow Globe Sentiments» on black cardstock and used the «Stitched Sentiment Strips» Die-namics to cut it out. I adhered all the elements by mostly following the sketch and popped up the dog and sentiment banner with foam tape. To finish my card, I added three wood veneer stars by Studio Calico.

You will have time until November 30th, 2017 to join the Stempelgarten Challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #58

15.10.2017

Good morning everyone,

there's a new challenge theme over at the bastel-traum.ch blog – this time it's all about «Thanks».
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
This challenge will run until November 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

Fall is taking a little break and it almost feels like spring where I live. So I made this floral «Thanks» card.

I stamped lots of flowers and leaves from the My Favorite Things «Pretty Posies» set with their Premium Dye Inks in shades of Coral, Aqua, Petrol and Grey. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

For the background, I did some Inlaid Die Cutting to create a frame around the focal sentiment. Therefore I used the stitched scallop die from the «Blueprints 27» set and one of the «Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX» Die-namics. The peachy paper is from the «Watercolor Wash» 6x6 Paper Pack.

I also die cut the large word «Thanks» («Twice the Thanks» Die-namics) from turquoise foil cardstock and inlaid it into the center piece of SU «Naturals White» cardstock. The sub sentiment comes from the «LJD Spring Wreath» set and I heat embossed it with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder.

Finally, I arranged all the stamped images and popped up some of the flowers with foam tape for more dimension. To decorate my card, I added Pretty Pink Posh sequins («Sparkling Clear» and «Rose Gold») in different sizes.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your Sunday!

MFT Bundle of Baby Clothes: Welcome Leonie

14.10.2017

Good morning,

today I have a very special card which I made for a dear friend who gave birth to a sweet baby girl a couple of days ago. I created this customized card for her using the My Favorite Things «LLD Bundle of Baby Clothes» Die-namics.

I had so much fun die cutting, paper piecing and putting all these cute baby clothes together. I used patterned paper from the MFT «Sweet Celebration» and the «Dots & Stripes Sorbet» 6x6 Paper Packs. I framed the little scene with a stitched scallop die cut that I made using two dies from the «Blueprints 27» set. I popped up all the die cuts with foam tape, so it looks like the clothes are really hanging on the line.

For the pastel background, I softly blended together three light ink colors: «Tumbled Glass» Distress Ink, «Insulation Pink» and «Bubblegum» Premium Dye Ink by MFT. I stamped the German sentiment (which means «Welcome»; Stampin' Up! «Kleiner Wort-Schatz») and heat embossed it with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder.

I stamped and colored the adorable little bear from the «Snuggle Bunnies» set and adhered him to the frame. To spell out the baby girl's name, I used some very old Quickutz Alphabet dies. I finished off my card by adding lots of shiny Nuvo Jewel Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

MFT World Card Making Day 2017: ROYGBIV

08.10.2017

Hi peeps,

on the occasion of yesterday's World Card Making Day, MFT came up with some fun challenges over at their blog.

I simply LOVE rainbows! So I'm entering the ROYGBIV challenge with this Clean and Simple «Thanks» card.

At first, I blended together Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow order. When everything was completely dry, I sponged white pigment ink through the «Petal Pattern» stencil. Next, I adhered it to the center of my black card base.

To try something different, I created a 'floating' die-cut. Therefore, I partially die cut the word «thanks» from white cardstock (it's all one piece!) and popped everything up with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a cozy evening!

DT bastel-traum.ch World Card Making Day Blog Hop

07.10.2017

Hello everyone,

today is World Card Making Day and to celebrate this special event the bastel-traum.ch DT comes together for a little inspiration blog hop (big thanks to Nicole for organizing ).

As much as we love creating handmade cards, we also enjoy receiving happy mail, right?! That's why I made this card using the cute panda bears from the Mama Elephant «Incoming Mail» stamp set.

For the background, I masked off a strip and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides («Seedless Preserves», «Picked Raspberry» and «Abandoned Coral»). I really love how easily those inks blend and the color combo looks so yummy! I also added some water droplets to lift the color here and there.

Next, I colored the images with Copics and fussy cut them out leaving a small white border. I cut the Simon Says Stamp «Sending» word die from black cardstock as well as two little hearts using the ME «Confetti» Creative  Cuts. To give them some extra shine, I covered the die-cuts with clear embossing powder. The sentiment, which I stamped in VersaFine «Onyx Black», is from the SSS «Sending Happy Thoughts» set.

Now I invite you to hop over to Nicole to see the wonderful creation she made.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge October

05.10.2017

Good morning,

Phew! Time goes by really fast these days and we have already October! There's a new and fun theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge: «Spooky».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I created this Halloween card combining some cute My Favorite Things stamps with a detailed Impression Obsession die and a Distress Ink night sky.

For the dark background, I blended together the Distress Inks «Black Soot», «Chipped Sapphire» and «Seedless Preserves». To give it a bit of texture, I sprinkled on some water droplets. Next, I cut a spooky scene from black glitter cardstock using the Impression Obsession «Halloween Hill» die. I put small pieces of yellow cardstock behind the windows and the pumpkin. I also did some shading with Copics so it looks as if the lights were glowing.

To create the circle window, I used a die from the MFT «Starry Circle» set and cut it from white cardstock. I added another stitched detail by using the rectangle die from the «Blueprints 29» set. I adhered the glitter die-cut behind my window opening and for more dimension, I popped everything up with foam tape.

I stamped and colored the cat and pumpkin images from the adorable Birdie Brown «Witch Way Is The Candy?» set. The sentiment was heat embossed with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder.

You will have time until October 31st, 2017 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest Innovation Master

21.09.2017

Hi crafty peeps,

Yippie! I'm so glad that I managed to make a final card for the My Favorite Things 2017 Card Design Superstar contest.

https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/you-could-be-a-2017-card-design-superstar/

I had this idea of a fun fold card in my head for a couple of days and wasn't sure how to realize it. I wanted to create a card with a little surprise inside, so when the recipient opens it, there would be something special. I picked the adorable Birdie Brown «Happy Hippos» stamp set which is perfect for Birthday/Celebration cards.

At first, I decorated the front of my card. The patterned paper is from the «Sweet Celebration» 6x6 Paper Pack and I added a petrol «Stitched Square Scallop Frame» die-cut on top. I stamped the hippo and the balloons as well as the little birdie and colored them with Copics. The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine «Onyx Black» and I cut a banner with one of the «Stitched Sentiment Strips» Die-namics. I used lots of foam tape to adhere my card elements. I decorated the card front with enamel dots and covered the balloons with Glossy Accents.

For the inside part, I scored a piece of peachy cardstock in a Zig-zag fold. I left it blank, so I'd be able to add some handwritten birthday wishes later. To create the heart window, I placed the die («Heart Full of Love TRANSFORM-ables» Die-namics) right into the middle of the cardstock.

I stamped the inside of the plum card base with the «Tiny Stars Background» in VersaMark and heat embossed it with sparkly WOW! «Frozen Berries» Embossing Glitter. Next, I fixed the peach cardstock to the card inside by only adhering the two outside flaps. I fit in two further cute colored hippos behind the heart window.

So this is what it looks like, when you open the card (it wasn't easy to take an accurate photo):

It almost looks like your sneaking into a secret birthday party ;-)

Here's a little close-up:

Although this isn't the most innovative card *giggle*, I really enjoyed creating it. Thank you MFT for challenging us with this wonderful contest! I love to see all the wonderful creations everybody made. Keeping my fingers crossed and wishing good luck to everyone.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest Coloring Virtuoso

20.09.2017

Good morning everyone,

I made a second card for the ongoing My Favorite Things 2017 Card Design Superstar contest.

https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/you-could-be-a-2017-card-design-superstar/

I'm entering the Coloring Virtuoso category with an one layer card that I colored with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils.

I used four! different Birdie Brown stamp sets to build the entire scene – «Cool Cat», «Our Story», «I Knead You» and «Lucky Dog». I love how perfectly all those images fit together, just as if they were from one set. And I always enjoy coloring them in, too!

This card is pretty much CAS but with a fun little twist because I wanted to tell a story. At first, I stamped and masked all the images. I don't make scenes like this often, so I really had to plan everything in advance. After all the images were protected by hand-cut masks, I sponged some «Insulation Pink» Premium Dye Ink through the «All Lined Up» stencil to create the subtle striped wall background. It's always like magic when you remove the masks :-)

Next, I carefully colored in my scene. I gave the dog's pillow a denim texture and added little details with a white gelly roll pen. The flower vase and the dog's nose are covered with Glossy Accents for some extra shine. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder. To finish off my card, I also put on small Nuvo «Rosewater» Jewel Drops.

Big thanks to MFT for hosting this amazing contest – there are already so many creative and outstanding submissions!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Good luck to everyone!

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest CAS Genius

19.09.2017

Hi peeps,

Woot woot! I decided to take part in this year's Card Design Superstar contest by My Favorite Things.

There are three separate categories to enter a card to and the prizes are so generous and simply amazing!

I made this bright card for the Clean & Simple Genius category:

Unicorns and rainbows just make me happy! I colored this cutie from the Birdie Brown «Magical Unicorns» set with my Zigs and fussy cut it out leaving a small white border. For the rainbow background, I die cut a circle from masking paper. I adhered the negative part to my white cardstock and sponged some yummy Distress Oxide Inks though the opening. To lift the color here and there, I sprinkled on a generous amount of water droplets. I rounded the top left corner of the panel with a die from the «Blueprints 14» set.

With the help of the circle die, I've bent the stamp from the «Essential Sentiments» set to follow the round shape. Next, I die cut two of the «Puffy Clouds» from white cardstock. I popped the clouds and unicorn up with foam tape. To finish off my card, I added some Nuvo «White Blizzard» Glitter Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

My Favorite Things Birdie Brown Bitty Bears

18.09.2017

Hello everyone,

So glad, that I'm finally feeling well enough to get some crafting done :-)

Today I want to share with you the card that I made for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I had so much fun to play with the sketch:

http://www.cardchallenges.com/2017/09/wednesday-sketch-challenge-sketch-350.html

At first, I colored two of the cute MFT Birdie Brown «Bitty Bears» with Copics and fussy cut them out. For the white background panel, I dry embossed the retired «Snow Drifts Cover-Up» die. I randomly added lots of Heidi Swapp «Color Shine» splatters in sparkling Gold. Instead of the circles shown in the sketch, I decided to incoporate some Distress Ink colored fall leaves (cut with the «Falling Leaves» Die-namics).

The striped paper is from the «Black & White Basics» 6x6 Paper Pack. I white heat embossed the sentiment from the «Beary Big Adventure» stamp set on a piece of black cardstock. To cut the fishtail banner shape, I used a die from the «Blueprints 27» set. I cut it a second time from gold glitter cardstock to put it behind the popped up sentiment strip.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon ;-)

DT bastel-traum.ch Challenge #57

15.09.2017

Happy Friday everyone,

today starts a new challenge over at the bastel-traum.ch Blog and we have a Recipe/Tic Tac Toe chart for you.
http://bastel-traum.blogspot.ch/
Feel free to pick any three themes in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) to create your project.

This challenge will run until October 15th, 8:55 am CET (Central European Time).

For my Hello Baby card, I chose the upper horizontal row: Polka Dots • Ribbon • Embossing.

I stamped the cute teepee tent from the Stampin' Up! «Little One» set in «Night of Navy» ink and fussy cut it with scissors. For the white background panel, I used the SU «Large Polka Dot» embossing folder. The patterned papers, which I cut with MFT stitched dies, are by SU, Studio Calico and Create A Smile.

The simple «Hello» sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and I heat embossed it with Ranger «Liquid Platinum» embossing powder. I also die cut the word «baby» (still one of my favorite Simon Says Stamp dies) three times from navy cardstock. After stacking the die cuts on top of each other, I clear heat embossed it two times to give it a glossy finish.

I tied a bow with some May Arts natural jute string (OK, in fact, that's not really a ribbon *tee-hee*) before adhering the whole design to my navy card base. To finish off the card, I added three wood veneer stars by Studio Calico.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DT Stempelgarten Challenge September

05.09.2017

Good morning,

as the days are already getting shorter and cozier, we have the matching theme over at the Stempelgarten Challenge: «Autumn/Fall».

http://stempelgartenchallenge.blogspot.ch/

I came up with this Thank You card using several My Favorite Things stamps and a fall-themed color palette.

This little cutie and the mushroom are from the Birdie Brown «Happy Hedgehogs» stamp set and I colored the images with Copics. Next, I white heat embossed three leaves from the «Geometric Greenery» set. To color them, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks in yellow, orange and green.

Although the «Spotlight Sentiments» set is pretty old and retired, it's still one of my favorites. I heat embossed the «Thank You» sentiment strip with gold embossing powder by WOW!.

You will have time until September 30th, 2017 to join our challenge and this is the prize you could win:

A craft package from the Stempelgarten Online Shop with a value of CHF 20.–.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!

Simon Says Stamp Always and Forever

29.08.2017

Hi crafty peeps,

today I want to share a wedding card that I made using Simon Says Stamp products and the Emboss Resist technique.

I stamped the beautiful SSS «Emma Background» in VersaMark and heat embossed it in white. Then I did some light-handed blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade).

Next, I die cut the gorgeous SSS «love» word from foiled cardstock («Rose Gold» by Bazzill) and the «bubble» layer underneath from white cardstock. The sub sentiment (WPlus9 «Happy Mail») was white heat embossed on a strip of foiled cardstock as well.

Finally, I decorated my card with Pretty Pink Posh «Rose Gold» sequins and selfmade droplets which were made with WOW! «Melt-It!» embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

MFT Camp Create Day 2: Magnificent Masking

22.08.2017

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to be back with another card for the current My Favorite Things Camp Create.

On Day 2 it's all about Masking. I love to use this technique in combination with ink blending.

https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/camp-create-august-15/

I created a glittery and ink blended background for this cutie from the Birdie Brown «Magical Unicorns» set which was colored with Copics.

I cut a circle from Inkadinkado stamping mask paper and adhered the negative part to my white panel of cardstock. Next, I blended together the two Distress Oxide Inks «Broken China» and «Cracked Pistachio». I sprinkled on some water droplets to lift some of the color.

When everything was completely dry, I adhered the masking paper circle over my ink blending. I put the «Sun Ray» stencil on top and fixed it with washi tape. Then I carefully pressed my VersaMark ink pad across the openings of the stencil. After removing the stencil, I heavily poured the gorgeous WOW! «Under the Sea» embossing glitter over it and heat set everything. I love all the sparkle which matches the colors of the Distress Oxide Inks perfectly.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a piece of black cardstock and cut it with one of the «Stitched Sentiment Strips» Die-namics. The unicorn and sentiment banner were adhered with foam tape. To finish off my card, I added three star shaped sequins rom my stash.

Although I won't be able to participate in all five crafts, I'm proud of my second Camp Create badge.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
